Control Method of High-Pressure Fuel Supply Pump and High-Pressure Fuel Supply Pump Using the Same
It is an object of the present invention to provide a control method of a high-pressure fuel supply pump and a high-pressure fuel supply pump using the same capable of effectively reducing noise generated when an electromagnetic suction valve is opened. This can be realized such that, in a control method of a high-pressure fuel supply pump including a suction valve disposed on the suction side of the pressurizing chamber, a rod for urging the suction valve toward the opening valve direction, and an anchor for moving the rod in the closing valve direction with attraction by magnetic attraction caused by a solenoid being energized, when the anchor moves in the opening valve direction, a first drive current is passed through the solenoid for a predetermined period of time, and thereafter a second drive current larger than the first drive current is passed through the solenoid for a predetermined period of time.
High-pressure fuel pump and control device
Provided is a high-pressure fuel pump in which responsiveness of closing a suction valve can be maintained even when the high-pressure fuel pump is increased in pressure or capacity of the high-pressure fuel pump is increased, thereby ensuring discharge efficiency. Therefore, the high-pressure fuel pump includes the rod that urges the suction valve in the valve opening direction, the mover that drives the rod in the valve closing direction, and the solenoid that generates a magnetic attraction force for moving the mover in the valve closing direction. After the suction valve starts moving from the suction valve closing position in the valve opening direction, the rod reaches the suction valve closing position and further moves in the valve opening direction.
Control device for high-pressure pump
A high-pressure pump includes a plunger reciprocating in conjunction with rotation of a rotational shaft to be able to change a volume of a pressurizing chamber and a control valve having a first valve body and a second valve body disposed in a fuel suction passage that communicates with the pressurizing chamber and supplies/blocks fuel to/from the pressurizing chamber by displacing the valve body in an axial direction by switching between energization and non-energization of a coil. An ECU adjusts a fuel discharge amount of the high-pressure pump by switching a valve opening and a valve closing of the control valve by the energization control of the coil. The ECU detects movement of the valve body with respect to a drive command of the valve opening or the valve closing of the control valve and executes an actuation determination of the high-pressure pump on the basis of a detection result.
Gasoline fuel supply system
A gasoline fuel supply system includes a feed pump part, an inline pump part, and a high-pressure pump part. The feed pump part includes a non-positive displacement electric pump, and pumps a gasoline fuel from a fuel tank and discharges at a feed pressure. The inline pump part includes a non-positive displacement mechanical pump, and pressurizes the gasoline fuel discharged from the feed pump part and discharges at a middle pressure. The high-pressure pump part includes a positive displacement mechanical pump, and pressurizes the gasoline fuel discharged from the inline pump part and discharges at a supply pressure to a fuel injection valve.
Direct magnetically controlled inlet valve for fuel pump
An inlet valve assembly for a fuel pump comprises a valve assembly inflow path and valve assembly outflow path; a magnetic valve member situated in an intermediate flow path fluidly linking the inflow path and the outflow path; a magnetic pole adjacent the valve member; and a selectively energizable coil for generating a magnetic flux directly magnetically coupling the pole and the valve member; whereby the valve member opens and closes fluid communication between the inflow path and the outflow path in response to the energized state of the coil.
ELECTROMAGNETICALLY ACTUATABLE SUCTION VALVE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ELECTROMAGNETICALLY ACTUATABLE SUCTION VALVE
The invention relates to an electromagnetically controllable suction valve (1) for a high-pressure fuel pump (2), comprising a magnet assembly (3) and a hydraulic module (4), the hydraulic module (4) engaging at least in sections in an annular magnet coil (5) of the magnet assembly (3). According to the invention, a heat-conducting material (6) and/or a heat-conducting body (7) is/are arranged between the magnet coil (5) and the hydraulic module (4). The invention further relates to a method for producing an electromagnetically actuatable suction valve (1).
High pressure fuel supply pump with electromagnetic suction valve
To reduce collision noise created by the operation of an electromagnetic suction valve provided on a high pressure fuel supply pump, the mass of a member which collides by magnetic attractive force is reduced. The noise generated when a core and an anchor collide with each other by magnetic attractive force depends on the magnitude of the kinetic energy of a moving element. The kinetic energy to be consumed in the collision is only the kinetic energy of the anchor. The kinetic energy of a rod, being absorbed by a spring, does not contribute to the noise; thus, the energy when the anchor and the core collide with each other can be reduced, whereby the noise to be created can be reduced.
Partial Charging of Single Piston Fuel Pump
The valve assembly and associated pump, direct a magnetic flux path such that a carefully timed magnetic force is directly applied to an inlet valve member when a coil is energized. As a result, direct actuation of the inlet valve is achieved. This accommodates a new partial charge operating strategy that has a significant benefit to inlet pressure pulsations. The benefit of a partial charging strategy is reduced inlet pulsations and noise, especially during vehicle idle conditions when it is most objectionable.
VALVE ASSEMBLY HAVING ELECTRICAL ACTUATOR WITH STEPPED ARMATURE
A valve assembly for a pump includes an electrical actuator having a stator and an armature, where the armature includes a top armature surface facing the stator and having an inwardly stepped-up profile that forms a raised surface at a radially inward location, and a lower, gap-forming surface at a radially outward location that forms a gap between the armature and the stator when the electrical actuator is activated to facilitate displacing fluid and avoiding production of high velocity, potentially damaging fluid flows.
VALVE, IN PARTICULAR A SUCTION VALVE, IN A HIGH-PRESSURE PUMP OF A FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
The invention relates to a valve, in particular a suction valve (2), in particular in a high-pressure pump of a fuel injection system, having a valve element (14) that moves between an open position and a closed position, comprising a magnet armature (10) which is in mechanical contact with the valve element (14) in the axial direction and which is in contact with a first pressure spring (4) on the side facing away from the valve element (14), and wherein the magnet armature (10) can be axially moved via an electromagnetic actuation and same is supported in a starting position on a valve body (40) via a stop plate (20). According to the invention, the stop plate (20) is held in contact with the valve body (40) via a securing element (8). The invention also relates to a high-pressure pump comprising a suction valve of this type.
