Fuel injector nozzle
A fuel injector nozzle comprising a plurality of holes formed therethrough connecting one side of the nozzle with an opposite side of the nozzle. Each of the holes comprises a hole entry on the one side of the nozzle having a first shape, a hole exit on the opposite side of the nozzle having a second shape, and a hole wall connecting the hole entry to the hole exit. The hole exit is smaller than the hole entry, and the hole wall comprises a side that is continuously curved from the hole entry to the hole exit.
FUEL INJECTION DEVICE
It is possible to prevent a change in the spray pattern and injection flow rate and an increase of particulate matters in the exhaust gas due to residual fuel left in the vicinity of an injection hole outlet carbonized and adhered as deposit. A fuel injection valve includes a displaceable valve body, a valve seat surface that touches the valve body, and an injection hole cup including at least one injection hole formed on the valve body's tip end side and beyond where the valve seat surface touches the valve body. The injection hole cup includes a low lipophilic portion and a lipophilic portion formed on the injection hole cup's surface, the lipophilic portion is formed inside at least a part of a range in which the low lipophilic portion is formed, and at least one portion of the low lipophilic portion is connected to the injection hole's end portion.
Fuel injector
A fuel injector and method are disclosed including an injector body with a fuel sac, and an end positioned into a combustion chamber. A main fuel passage, having a varying cross-sectional area forming a reduced pressure region, fluidically couples the fuel sac to the combustion chamber. One or more additional passages fluidically couple the reduced pressure region with one or both of the fuel sac and the combustion chamber.
FUEL INJECTION DEVICE
Among all combinations of two injection holes, in a combination in which when the injection holes are offset such that their central axes are coincident with each other in inlet openings, an inter-injection hole angle formed by the central axes is minimized, the inter-injection hole angle between the two injection holes is represented as yamin[deg], taper angles, which are formed by the respective contours of the injection hole inner walls in the cross sections along the virtual planes including the central axes of the two injection holes that allow the inter-injection hole angle to be minimized, are represented as a1 and a2[deg], and when fuel is injected from the injection holes, average pressure of the fuel in the fuel passage is represented as P[Mpa], and the injection holes are formed so as to satisfy a relationship: amina1+a2+0.5P.sup.0.6.
Methods and systems for a fuel injector
Methods and systems are provided for a fuel injector. In one example, a system may include forming an annular venturi passage between an outlet surface of the fuel injector and a nozzle. The nozzle may further comprise one or more air entraining features that may work in concert with the annular venturi passage to promote air-fuel mixing.
INJECTOR FOR INJECTING A FLUID, HAVING A TAPERING INFLOW AREA OF A THROUGH-OPENING
An injector for injecting a fluid, including a valve seat, on which a sealing area is situated, and a closing element, which is situated on an injector center line and which, on the valve seat, releases and closes at least one through-opening, the at least one through-opening having a main axis at an angle of inclination with respect to the injector center line, the at least one through-opening having an inflow area, and the inflow area having a tapering design.
Variable hole size nozzle and spray angle fuel injector and MHBIB
A fuel injector, comprising a nozzle body having a proximal end and a distal end, an upper row of nozzle holes being equally spaced about a first circumference of the nozzle body, and a lower row of nozzle holes located between the distal end and the upper row of nozzle holes, wherein the upper row has a first number of holes that is greater than a second number of holes in the lower row and wherein one of the first number of holes and the second number of holes is odd.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A FUEL INJECTOR
Methods and systems are provided for a fuel injector. In one example, a system may include a fuel injector having a half-annular venturi shaped outlet passage arranged between an outlet surface of the fuel injector and a half-cone shaped end portion of a nozzle. The nozzle may further comprise one or more air entraining features working in tandem with the half-annular venturi outlet passage to promote air-fuel mixing.
FUEL INJECTION VALVE AND FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
An injection hole body has injection holes to inject fuel. A valve body forms a fuel passage with an inner surface of the injection hole body to communicate with inflow ports of the injection holes. The valve body opens and closes the fuel passage by being seated on and unseated from a seating surface of the injection hole body. An inflow port gap distance is a gap between the valve body and the inflow ports along a center axis of the valve body. An inter-injection hole distance is a distance between inflow ports, which are adjacent to each other, among the inflow ports placed around the center axis. The inter-injection hole distance is smaller than the inflow port gap distance in a state where the valve body is unseated from the seating surface and is at a farthest position in its movable range.
