Electromagnetic Actuator, Electromagnetic Valve and High-Pressure Fuel Pump

Example embodiments relate to an electromagnetic actuator having an anchor which has a stop face, and having a pole piece which has a counter stop face, wherein the stop face and the counter stop face in terms of geometry are configured so as to be mutually complementary such that the stop face and the counter stop face in a movement of the anchor toward the pole piece engage in one another, displacing a medium which is disposed between the stop face and the counter stop face. The embodiments furthermore relate to an electromagnetic valve which has the electromagnetic actuator, and to a high-pressure fuel pump which has the electromagnetic valve.

FUEL INJECTOR

A fuel injector includes control valve for controlling fuel pressure in a control chamber. The control valve includes a valve seat; and a valve member having a valve face for cooperating with the valve seat to control fuel pressure in the control chamber. A return line is provided for returning fuel from the control chamber. An armature connected to the valve member and an actuator is provided for actuating the armature. The armature is disposed in an armature chamber. A deflector is provided in the armature chamber to form a first sub-chamber and a second sub-chamber. The first and second sub-chambers are in fluid communication with each other via a first aperture. A pressure differential is established between the first and second sub-chambers when the valve face lifts from the valve seat promoting the flow of fuel from the second sub-chamber into the first sub-chamber through the first aperture.

A coil assembly includes an electric coiling included in an overmold, the coiling being suitable to drive the control valve of a fuel injector. The coil assembly is provided with a longitudinal bore suitable for receiving a spring and with an adjusting member for the setting of the spring which can be moved from outside the injector, the adjusting member forming a transfer of movement such that the movement of the adjusting member from outside the injector is transformed into a compression of the spring.

Integrated arrangement of a high-pressure valve and an injection rail

An arrangement of a high-pressure valve at the end of a common rail of a fuel injection system, a high-pressure channel of the rail opening out at one extremity of the rail, includes a throttle stopper arranged at the extremity of the rail. An output orifice restricts a section of the high-pressure channel and a valve seat is positioned in the throttle stopper. The output channel is fully formed inside the valve body.

HIGH PRESSURE FUEL SUPPLY PUMP WITH ELECTROMAGNETIC SUCTION VALVE

To reduce collision noise created by the operation of an electromagnetic suction valve provided on a high pressure fuel supply pump. In the present invention, in order to achieve the above object, the mass of a member which collides by magnetic attractive force is reduced to reduce the noise to be generated. The thus configured present invention provides the following advantageous effects. The noise generated when a core and an anchor collide with each other by magnetic attractive force depends on the magnitude of the kinetic energy of a moving element. The kinetic energy to be consumed in the collision is only the kinetic energy of the anchor. The kinetic energy of a rod, being absorbed by a spring, does not contribute to the noise; thus, the energy when the anchor and the core collide with each other can be reduced, whereby the noise to be created can be reduced.

SOLENOID VALVE

A solenoid valve provided with a valve element that abuts against and separates from a valve seat to seal fuel; a movable iron core capable of being separated from the valve element; and a fixed iron core arranged opposed to the movable iron core. The solenoid valve also includes: a first spring member that energizes the valve element toward a side of the valve seat; a second spring member that energizes the movable iron core toward the fixed iron core; and a stopper part disposed on the side of the valve seat with respect to the movable iron core, and arranged with the movable iron core via a gap in a displacement direction in a valve closed state. The gap is set so the movable iron core collides with the stopper part when being displaced in the valve closing direction after the valve element is opened.

Method for regulating a common-rail injector

A method for regulating a common rail injector, the method including acquiring a signal of a sensor, which signal is proportional to a pressure in a valve space of the common rail injector; evaluating a change in the signal over time in order to detect at least one operating event of the common rail injector; and modifying at least one operating variable of the common rail injector as a function of the at least one operating event, the at least one operating variable being selected from an opening duration, a closing duration, an opening point in time, and a closing point in time of a switching valve of the common rail injector, and from an opening duration, an opening point in time, and a closing point in time of a needle valve of the common rail injector.
