High pressure valve
A nozzle able to be arranged in a diesel injection system of the internal combustion engine of a vehicle comprises a fixed member provided with a nozzle seat at the center of which there opens a discharge orifice, the fixed member comprising a cylindrical tubular part defining an inner guide cylinder extending axially from an open first end as far as the seat that forms the closed end of the guide cylinder, and a shut-off member arranged and guided in the guide cylinder, the shut-off member being able to move between a closed state (EF) when the shut-off member is in abutment against the seat and an open state (EO) when the shut-off member opens the discharge orifice.
HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL PUMP INCLUDING A DISCHARGE VALVE WITH A VALVE BALL AND A VALVE BODY
A high-pressure fuel pump which includes a discharge valve with a valve ball and a valve body, the valve body having a sealing section on which a sealing seat is present, and having a guide section in which the valve ball is guided. The guide section includes a first plurality of axially protruding webs between which first flow paths are formed, an opening which faces radially outwardly being present at least between two adjacent webs.
TWO STAGE VALVE WITH CONICAL SEAT FOR FLOW SHUT-OFF AND SPOOL KNIFE EDGE FOR METERING FLOW CONTROL
A valve (100) comprises a barrel (104) having a central bore (110), an inlet (112), and an outlet (114, 116), and a spool (120) disposed for motion within the central bore, including a ball tip (128), a metering edge (130), and a bore (132). The spool is moveable between a closed position, wherein the ball tip engages a seat (142) to prevent fluid flow through the inlet and the metering edge is disposed in a lower chamber (148) of the central bore to prevent the fluid flow through the outlet, and an opened position, wherein the tip is spaced apart from the seat to permit fluid flow through the inlet and the spool bore into an upper chamber (154) of the central bore to equalize pressure on the spool, and the metering edge is disposed in a flow path of the outlet to permit fluid flow through the outlet.
Solenoid valve with reduced cavitation
A solenoid valve includes a housing, a valve actuation device, and a closing element, wherein the housing includes an interior space with a central axis, wherein the valve actuation device includes an actuator arranged in the interior space so as to be displaceable along the central axis, wherein the actuator is operatively connected to the closing element such that the solenoid valve is opened or closed by a displacement of the actuator along the central axis, wherein the actuator together with the housing delimit, in the interior space of the housing, a leakage chamber that can be filled with a fluid, e.g., a fuel, and wherein in the leakage chamber, at least one vortex generator is arranged on the housing and/or on the actuator, which vortex generator is configured to generate a fluid vortex in the leakage chamber.
Injection valve
An injection valve for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine comprises a valve seat, a valve element, at least one injection opening formed in the valve seat and leading to the combustion chamber, the at least one injection opening opened or closed by a stroke motion of the valve element, a catalytic coating provided in a region of the injection valve which faces the combustion chamber, and at least one protuberance which is elongated in a direction of the combustion chamber and projects into the combustion chamber.
Fuel pump
The present invention provides a fuel pump capable of preventing the occurrence of cavitation near a seat member in a valve mechanism. The fuel pump includes a plunger adapted to reciprocate, a pressurizing chamber adapted to increase and decrease its volumetric capacity through the reciprocation of the plunger, and a relief valve mechanism adapted to return a fuel to the pressurizing chamber. The relief valve mechanism includes a relief valve, and a seat member having a valve contact portion for seating the relief valve thereon. The relief valve is disposed closer to the plunger than the seat member. The seat member has an annular groove portion which forms a space communicating with the pressurizing chamber, between the annular groove portion and a second chamber (a fixing portion) surrounding the outer peripheral surface of the seat member. The space is provided at a position farther from the plunger than the valve contact portion.
PUMP
A pump comprising a check valve, which check valve comprises: an axially extending valve bore defined within a pump body of the pump and having an inner surface, a seat member defining an axially extending valve channel and having a mounting portion being press-fitted into the valve bore so that it engages the inner surface and a seat portion disposed proximal with respect to the mounting portion, the seat portion defining a seat surface around a proximal opening of the valve channel, wherein a pilot radius, which is a maximum radius of the seat portion, is at least 95% but less than 100% of valve-bore radius of the valve bore so that the seat portion is out of contact with the inner surface, and a valve member movable with respect to the seat member and engaging the seat surface in a closed position.
