A machine for dispensing an individual portion of a frozen dessert may include a cartridge cart having walls forming a cavity having a longitudinal central axis and configured to accommodate a cartridge. The cartridge may include a tube having first and second ends, a nozzle disposed at the first end, and a piston disposed between the nozzle and the second end and configured to slidably move along the tube. The individual portion of the frozen dessert may be contained within the tube between the nozzle and the piston. The machine may also include a plunger, a drive source operably coupled to the plunger and configured to drive the plunger along the central axis, and a support configured to support the first end of the cartridge such that actuating the drive source causes the individual portion of frozen dessert to dispense through the nozzle.

A machine for making and dispensing liquid or semi-liquid products including, in combination: at least one batch freezing unit, including: a processing vessel, a stirrer mounted inside the processing vessel to mix the basic product and provided with scrapers acting on the inside walls of the processing vessel, and a dispenser adapted to allow the product to be drawn out of the processing vessel; a first refrigerated compartment adapted to house a plurality of vessels for containing basic products; at least a first door for closing the first refrigerated compartment; at least one pump connected in use to the processing vessel and connectable to one of the vessels for containing basic products in order to transfer the basic product from the vessel for containing basic products to the processing vessel.

A machine for storing and dispensing liquid or semi-liquid food products comprises, in combination: a refrigerated compartment internally including: supporting means for supporting at least one container of liquid or semi-liquid or semi-solid food product to be dispensed, a pump connectable to the at least one container of liquid or semi-liquid or semi-solid food product to be dispensed; a dispensing nozzle associated with the pump; a refrigeration system comprising a refrigerating circuit associated with the refrigerated compartment to keep it at a predetermined temperature; at least one door for closing the refrigerated compartment.

A machine for making and dispensing liquid or semi-liquid products comprises, in combination: a plane element with an opening made in it; at least one container adapted to contain a basic mixture provided with an opening and inserted in the opening of the plane element; a stirrer and a refrigeration system, operatively associated with the container respectively for mixing the basic mixture and for cooling the basic mixture in such a way as to convert it into finished product; a flange which can be coupled to the plane element; means for coupling the flange to the plane element; a lid movably connected to the flange to close the opening of the container in use.

A soft serve dispensing machine includes a refrigerator cabinet. A door is hinged to the refrigerator cabinet. A freezer compartment is defined in the refrigerator cabinet and receives a soft serve product mix. Product pumps are linked with the soft serve product mix for moving the product to a dispensing portion of the soft serve dispensing machine. The product pumps are positioned proximate the front portion of the refrigerator cabinet and above the freezer compartment. A removable inner door panel is moveable between stored and deployed positions. In the deployed position, the door is in an open position and the inner door panel is attached to the refrigerator cabinet and defines a seal relative to the refrigerator cabinet and cold air within the freezer compartment is maintained in the freezer compartment while the product pumps are accessed.

The disclosure extends to systems, methods, and devices for providing a pre-packaged frozen confection. The system includes a vehicle comprising three wheels, an ice chest secured to the vehicle, and a toppings dispenser attached to at least one of the vehicle or the ice chest. The toppings dispenser includes at least one receptacle configured for holding a liquid topping, a housing attached to at least one of the vehicle or the ice chest, and a spout in fluid communication with the receptacle.

A stirrer arrangement for an ice-cream or yogurt machine includes a motor shaft hub adapted for coupling at a shaft of a motor within a chilling container, and a stirring blade unit which includes a plurality of blade members radially and outwardly extended from the motor shaft hub. Each of the blade members has an inclined pushing surface, such that when the motor shaft hub is rotated at a stirring direction, the blade members are spun for creating a radial stirring vortex within the chilling container to outwardly, radially, and upwardly push liquid material from a bottom of the chilling container to a top thereof and to inwardly, radially, and downwardly suck the liquid material from the top of the chilling container to the bottom thereof.

The invention relates to an apparatus for making frozen yogurt sherbet and ice cream, comprising a heat transfer vessel and a scraper for use with a heat exchanger, wherein at least one heat exchanger vessel is used for rotation therein, said vessel comprising coupling means at its exterior bottom for coupling to a motor, a cooling medium within the housing surrounding the vessel, a motor for rotating the at least one vessel within the housing, and a scraper fixedly mounted on the housing extending into the vessel. The invention also relates to the vessel and scraper of the apparatus and to a method of preparing frozen yogurt sherbet and ice cream.
