A machine for making ice cream includes a first transfer channel configured to transfer a base product from a processing container to a dispensing section; a second transfer channel configured to transfer additional product from a feed device to the dispensing section; a shutter movable between closed and opens positions for controlling opening and closing of the first transfer channel, and in which the second transfer channel is formed; a containing body in which the shutter is slidably movable and having an abutment portion configured to receive a head portion of the shutter at the closed position; a drive and control unit; the second transfer channel being made internally of the shutter and, a heating device associated as one with the shutter to heat the additional product inside the second channel and connected to and controlled by the drive and control unit.

AUTOMATED CLEAN IN PLACE SYSTEM FOR SOFT SERVE MACHINE
A clean in place assembly for a soft serve ice cream dispenser includes an ice cream dispenser. A clean in place system having a water tank including a heater disposed therein is attached to the ice cream dispenser. A control interface is disposed on the tank. The control interface is connected to operating circuitry of the ice cream dispenser. A nozzle of the ice cream dispenser is formed of a conductive metal material and includes a notch formed therein circumferentially about a portion of the nozzle and includes radiused surfaces that extend to portions of the nozzle that house O-rings.
AUTOMATED CLEAN IN PLACE SYSTEM FOR SOFT SERVE MACHINE
A clean in place assembly for a soft serve ice cream dispenser includes an ice cream dispenser. A clean in place system having a water tank including a heater disposed therein is attached to the ice cream dispenser. A control interface is disposed on the tank. The control interface is connected to operating circuitry of the ice cream dispenser. A nozzle of the ice cream dispenser is formed of a conductive metal material and includes a notch formed therein circumferentially about a portion of the nozzle and includes radiused surfaces that extend to portions of the nozzle that house O-rings.
SELF CLEANING FLOW CONTROL VALVE IN CLEAN IN PLACE SYSTEM
A self-contained food processor is provided for treating a food flow path in the food processor with a solution. The food flow path can be treated without requiring disassembly and reassembly of the food processor and without requiring direct operator input. The food processor includes a controller for directing passage of a solution through at least portions of the food flow path without requiring constant operator oversight. The food processor can employ available positive pressure water supply, such as public utility water pressure to selectively and automatically push solutions, including rinses, backwards or forwards through the food flow path in the food processor.
SELF CLEANING FLOW CONTROL VALVE IN CLEAN IN PLACE SYSTEM
A self-contained food processor is provided for treating a food flow path in the food processor with a solution. An interface assembly for a frozen dessert machine is disclosed that includes a freezer door having opposed front and rear sides and including at least one recessed mounting pocket formed in the rear side thereof, the at least one recessed mounting pocket including a cornice covering an upper portion thereof, and at least one elongated baffle having opposed proximal and distal end portions, the proximal end portion of the at least one baffle including a retention flange that is dimensioned and configured for detachable reception within the at least one mounting pocket of the freezer door behind the cornice.

A machine for the production of liquid, semi-liquid or pasty solid food products is described. The machine includes a working container provided with an internal stirrer and externally with heat exchange means, an inlet opening in fluid communication with means for feeding a base food mixture into the container, a first outlet opening for a finished food product and a second outlet opening or a washing liquid. The machine further includes an automatic device for washing the feeding means and the container, and the automatic device has a circuit and a pump for recirculating the washing liquid and means for heating the recirculated washing liquid. A method for cleaning a machine of the aforementioned type is also described.
