Hydrostatic Axial Piston Machine with Through Drive
20200325936 · 2020-10-15 ·

A hydrostatic axial piston machine has a drive shaft penetrating a housing on either side. In this case, the mechanically weaker of the two shaft ends is strengthened by an undercut being eliminated, said undercut defining the minimum diameter of the shaft end and thus of the entire drive shaft. Instead, the strength of the relevant shaft end is increased by a displacement of a circular bearing surface for a rolling bearing radially outwardly and away from the rolling bearing. In this case, the circular bearing surface is displaced below a compression spring which clamps the cylinder drum against a distributor plate. The resulting spacing between the circular bearing surface and the rolling bearing remaining in place is bridged by a sleeve or by a ring. A concave rounded shaft shoulder is simply formed below the sleeve and/or the ring.

Cylinder block and swash plate type liquid-pressure rotating apparatus including same

A cylinder block includes: a plurality of cylinder bores including respective openings formed on a piston insertion end surface of the cylinder block, pistons being inserted in the respective cylinder bores and being configured to reciprocate and slide in the respective cylinder bores when the cylinder block rotates; and a cooling portion, wherein the cooling portion includes a plurality of cooling holes each formed between the adjacent cylinder bores and extending from the piston insertion end surface in an axial direction of the cylinder block.

CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR HYDRAULIC AXIAL DISPLACEMENT MACHINES

Control systems and feedback assemblies for hydraulic axial displacement machines, such as pumps and motors. The control systems and feedback assemblies can reduce friction on the charging spools and provide for a more reliable return of the swashplate to a neutral position. Aspects of the control systems and feedback assemblies can be modularized for, e.g., easy maintenance and to reduce the overall size of the system.

DISPLACEMENT CONTROL WITH ANGLE SENSOR ADJUSTMENT

Control systems and feedback assemblies for hydraulic axial displacement machines, such as pumps and motors. The control systems and feedback assemblies can have enhanced adjustability.

TILT ROTOR CONTROL

A system for driving a tilt rotor between vertical and horizontal using a variable displacement motor controlled in response to a swash angle of the motor measured in a feedback loop.

Method for operating an axial piston machine of swashplate design

A method for operating an axial piston machine of swashplate design, in which a swashplate is settable by means of an adjustment device, and in which a controlled variable of the axial piston machine is regulated by predetermining a manipulated variable. Under the assumption of a constant intended value of the controlled variable, a future profile of the controlled variable is ascertained using a model of the axial piston machine in which respective current values of at least one operating variable of the axial piston machine, which comprises the controlled variable, and a current value of the manipulated variable are taken into account. A value to be set for the manipulated variable is ascertained and set taking into account the future profile of the controlled variable.

Hydraulic axial piston unit with central fixed hold down device

Hydraulic axial piston unit (1) of the swashplate construction type having a drive shaft (2) adapted to drive or be driven by a cylinder block (4). The cylinder block comprises a plurality of cylinder bores (6), in which several pistons (8) are moveable in general along the rotational axis (10) of the drive shaft (2) and relative to the cylinder bores (6). First ends of the pistons (8) protrude outside of the cylinder bores (6) and are slidable fixed by means of slippers (14) to a swashplate (16). The slippers (14) are hold down in a sliding manner on a sliding surface (18) of the swashplate (16) by means of a slipper hold down ring (20) arranged parallel to the sliding surface (18). The slipper hold down ring (20) is in a sliding contact with its radial inner surface (22) with a matching surface (26) on a guide ball (24) rotationally fixed on the drive shaft (2) and axially moveable in direction of the rotational axis (10) relative to the cylinder block (4) against resilient forces of springs (28) characterized in that a mounting ring (30) is attached to the cylinder block (4) in order to limit the axial movement of the guide ball (24) towards the cylinder block (4).

A hydrostatic piston machine has a lifting element that is adjustable for varying a swept volume, and a rotating cylinder part having a plurality of cylinder bores with pistons that are supported on the lifting element and delimit a displacement chamber. Each displacement chamber is moved in an alternating manner by a connecting opening to overlap a low-pressure control opening situated on a low-pressure side of a stationary control part and a high-pressure control opening situated on a high-pressure side of the control part. Two switching regions are situated between the low-pressure control opening and the high-pressure control opening, the pistons changing direction at a dead center within the switching regions. The position of the lifting element is determined from a pressure profile which is a function of the variable size of the displacement chambers in a switching region, the variable size depending on the position of the lifting element.
