FEED SUPPLEMENTS
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a combination and/or composition comprising a growth factor and one or more of silica, mineral clay, glucan, mannans, endoglucanohydrolase, yucca, quillaja, metal chelate, chromium compound, probiotic, polyphenol, direct fed microbial, copper species, vitamin, allicin, alliin, alliinase, yeast, growth promotant, preservative, antimicrobial, or vaccine. The growth factor may be an active growth factor such as an active insulin-like growth factor. Also disclosed are methods of administering the combination and/or composition to an animal. The combination and/or composition may provide a beneficial effect to the animal upon administration, such as, but not limited to, improved immune function, metabolism, milk production, growth, feed conversion, fertilization, reproduction, oocyte quality in a ruminant undergoing superovulation, embryo viability, muscle growth, muscle percentage, heart muscle development, egg product and/or quality, sperm production and/or quality, meat quality, or a combination thereof.

PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING OR TREATING WOUND, COMPRISING INDIRUBIN DERIVATIVE AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT
The present disclosure relates to a composition for preventing or treating wound. The composition according to the present disclosure contains, as an active ingredient, an indirubin derivative alone or one or more selected from a group consisting of an indirubin derivative, an Euodia sutchuenensis Dode extract, methyl vanillate, hesperidin and quercitrin, and thus can be used as a pharmaceutical composition capable of promoting wound healing and reducing scarring not only in a normal state but also in a diabetic state. Furthermore, since the composition exhibits excellent effects in healing diabetic wound as well as general wound, it can be usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition, cosmetic composition or food composition for alleviating, preventing or treating general wound or diabetic wound, or as a veterinary composition for treating diabetic wound.

NITROIMIDAZOLE FORMULATIONS
The disclosure relates to nitroimidazoles and related compounds and derivatives, formulations thereof, and their use in the prevention and/or treatment of infectious disease in animals. In particular, the disclosure relates to 5-nitroimidazoles and related compounds and derivatives, formulations thereof, and their use in the prevention and/or treatment of infectious disease in animals including bacterial, viral, parasitic or fungal infections. More particularly, the invention relates to metronidazole and related compounds and derivatives, formulations thereof, and their use in the prevention and/or treatment of infectious disease caused by Clostridium species. Most preferably, the nitroimidazole is metronidazole administered in combination with berberine, or a berberine alkaloid, in a synergistic weight ratio of 1:1 or 1:2.

The invention relates to a hydrophobic gastro-protected formulation of at least one active principle, characterized in that it is in the form of solid particles with a size of between 5 μm and 3500 μm, the solid particles of the formulation comprising: at least one waxy excipient forming a waxy matrix; and said at least one active principle chosen from the group formed from active principles for agrifood use, active principles for veterinary use, active principles for probiotic use and active principles for pharmaceutical use;
the solid particles being strictly hydrophobic, non-hygroscopic, non-injectable, free of water, free of surfactants, free of emulsifiers, free of solvent, and free of shear-thinning polymer;
the solid particles having a melting point of between 15° C. and 60° C.;
said at least one active principle being uniformly distributed in the waxy matrix in a mass proportion of between 0.2% and 85%;
said solid particles being suitable for protecting and stabilizing said at least one active principle in a gastric medium and being dispersible in an intestinal medium.
