The present invention relates to a water pump including a lower casing in which a rotor accommodating part is formed to protrude downwardly and a lower bearing mounting part is formed at a lower end of an inner portion; an upper casing in which an inlet part introducing a fluid and an outlet part discharging the fluid are formed and an upper bearing mounting part is formed to extend from a lower end of the inlet part toward the impeller accommodating space; an impeller rotatably provided in the impeller accommodating space; and a rotor provided in the rotor accommodating space of the lower casing and coupled to the impeller. A fluid may smoothly flow toward an introduction side of the impeller, and thus, a pressure drop of the fluid and an unstable flow of the fluid may be prevented to improve performance.

Pump apparatus, in particular magnetic coupling pump apparatus

A pump apparatus has a rotor shaft, a pump impeller connected to the rotor shaft, at least one axial bearing which rotatably supports the rotor shaft at a side facing the pump impeller, a magnetic pump stator, a magnetic pump rotor which is connected to the rotor shaft, a containment can which extends between the stator and the rotor, and at least one central support element which is mounted in the region of the pump impeller. The pump apparatus has an elastomer disk which is arranged between the support element and the axial bearing. The stator and the rotor are arranged with an axial offset with respect to each other. The stator and the rotor are provided as a result of the axial offset to produce an axial force F in the direction of the elastomer disk.

BLOOD PUMPS

A blood flow assist system can include an impeller assembly including an impeller shaft and an impeller on the impeller shaft, a primary flow pathway disposed along an exterior surface of the impeller. The system can include a rotor assembly at a proximal portion of the impeller shaft. A secondary flow pathway can be disposed along a lumen of the impeller shaft. During operation of the blood flow assist system, blood can be pumped proximally along the primary flow pathway and the secondary flow pathway. The system can include a sleeve bearing distal the impeller. The system can include a drive unit having a distal end disposed distal a proximal end of the second impeller. The drive unit comprising a drive magnet and a drive bearing between the drive magnet and the impeller assembly.

MAGNETIC DRIVE SEALLESS PUMPS WITH STEAM JACKET

A magnetic drive sealless pump may comprise a pump casing, assembly bearing housing, and a frame having a first open end coupled to the pump casing and a second open end coupled to the bearing housing. The frame is provide over an outer magnetic ring and a containment shell, and the frame comprises a steam inlet and a steam outlet. The steam inlet is positioned proximate to the containment shell and the outer magnetic ring to permit introduction of steam to an exterior of the containment shell and the outer magnetic ring. The bearing housing my comprise a second steam outlet arranged between a dry gas seal and a bearing isolator for draining water accumulation.
