Double-Sided Single Impeller With Dual Intake Pump
A double-sided impeller with a dual intake fluid housing apparatus is designed to suction an extraneous fluid through both a first intake and a second intake, where gases trapped in the fluid housing may escape and mitigate cavitation. The apparatus includes a fluid impeller, a fluid housing, an output volute, and a shaft. The fluid impeller is double-sided with a first plurality of blades and a second plurality of blades respectively adjacent to the first intake and the second intake. The fluid housing surrounds the fluid impeller and in fluid communication with the extraneous fluid. The shaft is rotationally coupled with the fluid impeller such that torque applied to the shaft applies torque to the fluid impeller. The output volute is in fluid communication with the fluid housing and tangentially positioned such that the motion of the extraneous fluid in the fluid housing is directed toward the output volute.
Open impeller for submergible pump configured for pumping liquid comprising abrasive matter
An open impeller for a submergible pump for pumping abrasive fluids. The impeller has a cover plate, a hub and at least two spirally swept blades, each blade having a leading edge, a trailing edge, and a lower edge extending from the leading edge to the trailing edge and separating the suction and pressure sides of the blade. At least one blade includes a winglet at the lower edge projecting from the suction side, located radially outside an inner radius of the impeller, and extending circumferentially to the trailing edge at the suction side at a maximum radius of the impeller. The lower edge and winglet lower wear surface are configured to be located opposite of and facing a pump wear plate. The inner radius is equal to the largest of the maximum radius of the impeller multiplied by 0.6, and an inlet radius of the impeller multiplied by 1.2.
Centrifugal fan with reduced motor cooling noise
A blower assembly suitable for use in a vehicle heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a motor and a fan. The motor is configured to define an exit region where air that flows through the motor exits the motor. The centrifugal fan is configured to attach to a shaft of the motor. The fan defines a plurality of passageways configured to allow the air from the motor to pass through the fan. The passageways are configured to minimize noise caused by the air drawn through the motor.
WATER PUMP WITH ONE INLET AND TWO OUTLETS
This application discloses a one-inlet and two-outlet water pump which comprises a pump body, and an impeller assembly and a motor assembly set inside the pump body. The motor assembly is connected to the impeller assembly. The impeller assembly comprises the first impeller and the second impeller connected to each other, with a hollow cavity formed between the first impeller and the second impeller. The design rotation direction of the first impeller blade is opposite to that of the second impeller blade. An inlet is set at one end of the pump body, corresponding to one end of the first impeller away from the second impeller. A first outlet and a second outlet are set on a side wall of the pump body, with the first outlet and the second outlet offset by a certain angle along a circumferential direction.
High volume axial flow electric submersible pump (ESP) pump stage
An electrical submersible pump (ESP) assembly. The ESP assembly comprises an electric motor having a first drive shaft; a seal section having a second drive shaft that is coupled to the first drive shaft; a third drive shaft that is coupled to the second drive shaft; and an axial flow centrifugal pump stage, wherein the centrifugal pump stage comprises an impeller coupled to the third drive shaft and a diffuser, wherein the impeller defines a plurality of impeller vanes attached between an impeller hub and an impeller shroud, wherein the impeller shroud is a straight-walled cylindrical shape, wherein the diffuser defines a plurality of diffuser vanes attached between a diffuser hub and a diffuser shroud, and wherein the diffuser shroud is a straight-walled cylindrical shape.
