Magnetic levitation centrifugal pump
A magnetic levitation centrifugal pump, comprises: one hollow body provided with at least one inlet connector and with at least one outlet connector for blood; one rotor element, housed inside the hollow body and comprising at least one magnetic portion, where the rotor element can be commanded in rotation about an axis of rotation, without contact, by a stator element associable with the hollow body, the rotor element comprising at least one revolving body, which defines an upper surface supporting a plurality of blades which are adapted to convey blood towards the outlet connector; where the upper surface has a substantially concave shape and where the revolving body comprises at least one through hole which is positioned along the axis of rotation.
Power tool
A power tool having a built-in fan, the fan including a plurality of blades at uneven pitches. The fan includes a centrifugal fan which blows out air in all radial directions. The fan is provided with means for correcting unstable outflow which may be caused by the uneven pitches between the blades. The blades have unevenly configured inducers for correcting unstable outflow.
CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS FOR MEDICAL USES
Extracorporeal circuit devices can be used for on-pump open-heart surgery to support surgical procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting. In some cases, a centrifugal pump is used as part of an extracorporeal circuit. Centrifugal pump heads are described herein that induce flow on two sides of an impeller plate, and that can be conveniently mechanically assembled.
CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR IMPELLER WITH NONLINEAR BACKWALL
A centrifugal compressor impeller includes a plurality of blades on a front side that extend from a first axial side to an outer radial end of the impeller. The centrifugal impeller includes a back side having a nonlinear backwall. The backwall can include a flat area hear a bore of impeller, a flat area near a tip of the impeller, and a convex surface between the flat areas of the bore and the tip. In some forms the impeller further includes a concave surface between the convex surface and the tip to form an s-shape. A transition or inflection point can denote the change from convex to concave. The convex and/or concave surfaces can take any variety of forms such as constant radius sections and/or compound curves.
Impeller for disc pump
An impeller for a disc pump has a drive disc with a connector for joining to a shaft of the disc pump, a driven disc affixed to the drive disc so as to define a space therebetween, and a plurality of wing vanes formed in the face of at least one of the drive disc and the driven disc. The drive disc has a face facing a face of the driven disc. The drive disc extends in generally parallel planar relationship to the driven disc. The plurality of wing vanes radiate across the face toward an outer diameter of one of the drive disc and the driven disc. Each of the plurality of wing vanes has a portion extending outwardly beyond the outer diameter of the drive disc and the driven disc.
IMPELLER AND FAN INCLUDING THE IMPELLER
An impeller of this disclosure includes a hub having a ring shape; and a plurality of blades that are provided on an outer periphery of the hub, wherein the blade has a trailing edge formed such that an inner side of a radial width of the blade is curved in a direction opposite to a rotation direction, in a plan view as viewed in a direction of a rotation axis.
PUMP COMPRISING AN IMPELLER BODY PROVIDED AS AN OBLIQUE CONE
A pump comprising an impeller having a hub base and an impeller body. The impeller body comprises a base which is concentric relative to a rotational axis of the impeller, and at least one eccentric apex.
IMPELLER DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING METHOD WITH PENTAGONAL CHANNEL GEOMETRY
An impeller includes a body with an interior channel extending through the body along a centerline axis of the impeller. A plurality of blades is connected to the body on a forward end of the impeller centerline axis. The plurality of blades surrounds the interior channel and is fluidly connected to an array of inlets. An array of pentagonal channels extends through the body and radially outward in a spiral pattern. Each pentagonal channel is fluidly connected to a corresponding vane inlet and a corresponding pentagonal-shaped outlet. Each channel maintains a pentagonal cross-section shape from the inlet to the outlet. Each downward-sloping face of the cross section is more than 35 degrees from a horizontal plane perpendicular to the centerline axis of the impeller.
Aircraft engine
An aircraft engine including a fan having a center of mass, a low-pressure shaft that couples the fan directly to a low-pressure turbine of the aircraft engine, and a bearing arrangement for mounting the low-pressure shaft, where the bearing arrangement has at least two front bearings for mounting the low-pressure shaft, a first front bearing and a second front bearing, with the first front bearing being arranged in the axial direction in front of the second front bearing. It has been provided that the first front bearing is arranged substantially in the same plane, extending perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft engine, as the center of mass of the fan.
Blower wheel
A blower wheel for use in a blower assembly is disclosed, wherein the blower wheel includes a hub, a concentrically arranged outer ring, and an array of spaced apart blades arranged on an outer periphery of the hub and extending between the hub and the outer ring. The hub includes a wave configuration formed therein. The wave configuration includes an annular array of crests and an annular of troughs alternately formed in at least one of an outer surface and an inner surface of the hub. The hub may also include an annular array of support members formed on the inner surface thereof.
