A non-chokable pump includes an impeller having vanes for delivering solids-containing media. At least a portion of the vanes include a vane section that branches from a vane extending from a hub region of the impeller. The vane section preferably has a curvature greater than the vane extending from the hub region.

A centrifugal pump for delivering a medium comprising solid admixtures includes a blade-free space arranged in front of an impeller. The centrifugal pump has a suction-side arrangement that permits variable sizing of the blade-free space. The suction-side arrangement permits the efficiency of the centrifugal pump to be increased while avoiding blockages.

A condensing device includes two end caps each having two openings, a barrel connected to and disposed between the end caps, a heat exchanger disposed in the barrel, and a condensing unit mounted to one end cap. The heat exchanger includes a passage and a vortex chamber each cooperating with a respective one of the openings of each of the end caps to define a flow channel to permit fluid to flow therethrough. A cooling chip module of the condensing unit includes a heat absorbing plate disposed at an end proximate to the one end cap, and a heat dissipating plate disposed at an opposite end.

The present invention relates to an impeller for a centrifugal pump including a recessed impeller pump which provides improved pumping efficiency, is less subject to wear and tear and provides maximal vortex generation.

Disclosed herein are a dual inlet volute with an impeller and pump for same, and related methods. In one form a pump is provided comprising a motor configured to rotate a shaft, an impeller operatively coupled to the shaft, and a volute housing the impeller, the volute having a first inlet, a second inlet, and a discharge in fluid communication with the first and second inlets.

An impeller for centrifugal pump, comprising: a disc, a plurality of vanes which extend from the disc, a central body, adapted for connection to a rotating shaft.

Each one of the vanes has a profile with a double curvature: a first curvature with respect to a sectional plane that is parallel to the disc, a second curvature with respect to a sectional plane that is perpendicular to the one of the disc, the first curvature and the second curvature having their concavity directed toward the inside of the impeller.

A pump rotor includes a hub, a back plate and a plurality of blades extending from the hub and disposed on the back plate. Each of the plurality of blades has an outer surface essentially parallel to a rotational axis of the hub, and a first end adjacent the hub and a second end distal from the hub, the first end having a height from the planar surface that is less than a height from the planar surface of the second end. The plurality of blades is configured to cause a synchronized central column of flow.

A vortex pump with an impeller is provided. The impeller includes blades for delivering solids-containing media which are arranged in bundles. The spacing the blades in the bundles is smaller than the spacing of the bundles from each other.
