Impeller blades structure and rotor assembly using same

An impeller blade structure includes a main body having a first through opening communicating a first side with an opposite second side of the main body. The main body is formed on the first side with angularly spaced block-like blades, which respectively include a first end contacting or not contacting with the first through opening, an opposite second end, and a first coupling section. Any two adjacent blades together define between them a passage. When a virtual line tangentially passes through a point on a circumference of the main body that is corresponding to one radially outer end of the blade, an acute included angle will be defined between the virtual line and the blade. With these arrangements, the blades produce less noise and are more durable for use when the impeller blade structure rotates. A rotor assembly including the impeller blade structure is also disclosed.

An improved centrifugal pump uses straight tubes or fluid channel members rather than expanding passages between the inlet and exit flow. In straight tubes a process occurs of building up of pressure faster than within the passages as the fluid attempts to expand due to the Coriolis force potentially acting against the centrifugal force to build up the pressure within and along the tube or fluid channel. Because the flow increases faster than increases in RPM a more compact pump is provided that can move more air and produce higher pressures than ordinary centrifugal pumps. Hence: 1) Flow increases proportional to tube area because a larger area means more air can be drawn into the tube; 2) Flow increases proportional to tube length because the exit pressure increases proportional to tube length; and 3) Flow increases faster than increases in RPM, thereby exhibiting a higher outflow pressure.

Pump

A liquid pump has a pump housing defining a pump chamber. A motor is accommodated within the pump housing and separated from the pump chamber by an end cap. An impeller disposed within the pump chamber is driven by the motor. The pump chamber has an inlet and one or more outlets. The outlets are located on a sidewall of the pump chamber and extend in a direction substantially tangential to an outer circumference of the pump chamber. Each outlet has a first end near the pump chamber, and a second end remote from the pump chamber. A cross-sectional area S.sub.1 of the first end is smaller than a cross-sectional area S.sub.2 of the second end, forming a diffuser within the outlet.

A centrifugal pump (10) includes a housing (26), an impeller (28) that is rotatably disposed inside the housing (26), a shaft (62) that has spherical surface-shaped shaft ends (66) at both ends in an axial direction, and bearings (70) that have spherical surface-shaped bearing surfaces (73) respectively and pivotally supporting the shaft ends (66). In at least one of the bearings (70) disposed on both sides of the shaft (62) in the axial direction, a ratio of a radius of curvature of the shaft end (66) with respect to a radius of curvature of the bearing surface (73) of the bearing (70) is equal to or less than 85%.

A centrifugal pump for pumping fluid includes a volute having an upstream inlet that receives the fluid and a downstream outlet that discharges the fluid. An impeller is disposed in the volute and comprises a plurality of impeller vanes. The impeller is configured to rotate about an axis of rotation so that the plurality of impeller vanes accelerates the fluid radially outwardly from the upstream inlet to the downstream outlet. The impeller is further configured to discourage air-lock of the centrifugal pump by expelling air away from the upstream inlet as the impeller rotates about the axis of rotation.

Rotor having a plurality of spiral pathways to pass liquid or gas therethrough to increase power thereof
12129856 · 2024-10-29 ·

A rotor having spiral pathways to enable liquid or gas to flow from a center to an exterior thereof. The spiral pathways increases power generated (input force) as liquid/gas travels therethrough. The spiral pathway rotor includes an inner disk and an outer disk. Inner disk includes a central opening for receiving the liquid/gas and is connected to a plurality of pathways that extend toward an outer edge in a spiral manner. Nozzles may be utilized to expel the liquid/gas. Outer disk includes an open interior having a plurality of teeth formed on an interior surface. The teeth are configured to receive the liquid/gas expelled from inner disk which causes the rotor to rotate and thus increases the input force thereof. The input force is amplified to an output force on a shaft connected thereto.
