INTAKE DEVICE FOR A COMPRESSOR
The invention relates to an intake device for a compressor. The intake device comprises a support structure having a plurality of struts which are arranged in the circumferential direction about an axis of the support structure and extend in the radial direction. Furthermore, the intake device comprises a plurality of first sound-damping elements which are arranged in the radial continuation of the plurality of struts. In addition, the intake device comprises a plurality of second sound-damping elements, each of which is arranged between adjacent first sound-damping elements. The invention furthermore relates to an exhaust-gas turbocharger having the intake device according to the invention, and an internal combustion engine having an exhaust-gas turbocharger of this kind.
FAN
A fan includes a housing, a rotation body, and an auxiliary inlet. The housing includes an accommodation chamber, an air inlet, and an air outlet. The rotation body is arranged in the accommodation chamber, forms a guide channel with an inner wall of the accommodation chamber, and is configured to drive air to enter from the air inlet and be guided out from the air outlet through the guide channel. The auxiliary inlet is arranged on the guide channel and configured to introduce the air into the guide channel.
Centrifugal compressor
Provided is a centrifugal compressor, including: a movable member which is movable between a first position and a second position, the first position being a position at which an opening degree of an auxiliary flow passage arranged more on an outer diameter side than a main flow passage becomes a first opening degree, the second position being a position at which an opening degree of the auxiliary flow passage becomes a second opening degree smaller than the first opening degree; and a linear actuator configured to drive the movable member in a rotation axis direction of the impeller.
Drainage structure and turbocharger
A drainage structure includes: a main body including an intake flow path; a compressor impeller disposed in the intake flow path; an accommodation chamber formed in the main body at a position upstream of the compressor impeller in a flow of an intake air; a movable member disposed in the accommodation chamber; and a connecting passage connected to the accommodation chamber.
Centrifugal blower
A centrifugal blower includes a centrifugal fan and a separation cylinder. The centrifugal fan has a separation plate. The separation cylinder is disposed inward of the blades in the radial direction of the centrifugal fan. The separation plate has an inner end surface extending from the one side to the other side in the axial direction at a position of an inner end in the radial direction. The separation cylinder has a separation cylinder end surface extending from the one side to the other side in the axial direction at a position of an end on the other side in the axial direction. A height of one of the separation cylinder end surface and the inner end surface in the axial direction is larger than a height of the other of the separation cylinder end surface and the inner end surface in the axial direction.
VENTILATED SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A ventilated system for a vehicle seat. The ventilated system includes a ventilator fan, a fan housing and a fixing member. The fan housing covers the ventilator fan, and the fixing member is adapted to be secured in or on a trim part of the vehicle seat. The fan housing or the fixing member includes a concentric ring element having a wall portion and an engaging element. The fixing member or the fan housing has an engaging portion adapted to engage with the engaging element of the concentric ring element. While engaging, the wall portion of the concentric ring element forms a wall around the airflow to avoid any air leakage from/in-between the engaging portion of the fixing member and fan housing.
Compressor housing, compressor including the compressor housing, and turbocharger including the compressor
A compressor housing includes: an intake flow path-forming section configured to form an intake flow path; a shroud portion including a shroud surface curved in a protruding manner to face blades of an impeller; and a scroll flow path-forming section configured to form a scroll flow path through which gas is guided outside the compressor housing. A groove portion extending in a circumferential direction is defined in the shroud surface and, in a cross-sectional view taken along an axis of the impeller, the groove portion includes a downstream side wall surface, wherein a distance from the axis of the impeller to the downstream side wall surface increases toward an upstream side from a downstream side end portion of the groove portion, and an upstream side curved surface that is recessed between an upstream end of the downstream side wall surface and an upstream side end portion of the groove portion.
FAN
A fan, in particular axial fan and preferably backward-curved radial fan, having an impeller equipped with blades, an electric motor for rotating the impeller and a device for determining the airflow when the impeller is rotating. The device for determining the airflow includes a volume flow measuring wheel arranged in the air flow, which is arranged upstream of the impeller on the inflow side. The air volume flow is calculated or derived from the rotational speed of the volume flow measuring wheel.
Turbo Compressor Assembly
A turbo compressor assembly, a vehicle including such a turbo compressor assembly, and a method for manufacturing such a turbo compressor assembly. The turbo compressor assembly includes an air intake channel, a compressor wheel, an insert unit and an actuator unit. The air intake channel is configured to draw air to the compressor wheel and the compressor wheel is configured to rotate for compressing the drawn air from the intake channel. The insert unit is arranged between the air intake channel and the compressor wheel and configured to control an airflow to the compressor wheel. The actuator unit is connected to the insert unit and configured to move the insert unit at least partially along the air intake channel.
Compressor inlet adjustment mechanism
The present invention relates to an adjustment mechanism (100) for variably adjusting the cross-section of a compressor inlet (22) and further relates to a corresponding compressor (20) including such an adjustment mechanism (100). The adjustment mechanism (100) comprises a plurality of rotatable orifice elements (110) and an actuation ring (120). The actuation ring (120) is mechanically coupled to the plurality of orifice elements 110 such that rotation of the actuation ring 120 causes movement of the orifice elements 110. The movement of the orifice elements (110) thereby adjusts the cross-section of a compressor inlet (22). The adjustment mechanism (100) further comprises a plurality of support members (140) which are arranged axially between the plurality of orifice elements (110) and the actuation ring (120). Additionally, the adjustment mechanism (100) comprises a spring (130), more specific a ring-shaped wave spring. The spring (130) is adapted to axially preload the plurality of orifice elements (110) and the actuation ring (120) when being in a mounted state.
