Embodiments of the invention provide a blowing apparatus comprising a body including an impeller equipped with vanes including an opening therein to allow air to pass through the vane when the impeller is rotating.

RANGE HOOD
20220364736 · 2022-11-17 ·

Disclosed is a range hood, including: a case provided with a smoke inlet; and a fan provided inside the case. An air inlet area is formed between an air inlet of the fan and a side wall of the case, the air inlet area is provided with a spacer, and the spacer is configured to divide the air inlet area into at least two air inlet sub-areas. The air inlet sub-areas are located at different positions of the air inlet area. The airflow entering the case from the smoke inlet flows to the air inlet of the fan, and the airflow flows to the sub-air inlet area in different directions. The space blocks airflows in different directions, to prevent turbulence at the intersection of airflows in different directions.

IMPELLER SHROUD FREQUENCY TUNING RIB

A frequency tuning rib is provided on an impeller shroud to alter a natural frequency of the shroud so as to avoid coincidence with the aerodynamic excitation frequencies to which the shroud is exposed during engine operation.

Adaptor with improved airflow

An adaptor is disclosed for connecting a rotating electrical machine 12 to a prime mover 10. The adaptor comprises at least one air outlet. The adaptor is arranged to provide an increase in a cross-sectional area of air flow towards the outlet. In this way part of the dynamic pressure can be converted into additional static pressure rise through steady expansion of the air flow cross-section. This in turn may help to improve the overall amount of cooling air passing through the machine for a given fan input power.

Methods and systems for catalytically treating exhaust gases from an internal combustion engine using secondary air injection, and secondary air pump for use therein

In a turbocharged internal combustion engine (ICE) system, a catalytic treatment device receives exhaust gases from the ICE after they have passed through the turbocharger turbine. The system includes a secondary air pump (SAP) for injecting pressurized air into the exhaust gases ahead of the catalytic treatment device. The SAP is a single-stage centrifugal compressor that includes an air recirculation passage for causing a first portion of the air pressurized by the SAP to be continuously recirculated back to the inlet of the SAP, which is effective for heating the air in the volute of the SAP. A second portion of the pressurized air, having thereby been heated, is injected into the exhaust gases proceeding toward the catalytic treatment device.

Centrifugal fan and centrifugal blower
11499568 · 2022-11-15 · ·

A centrifugal fan includes first blades and second blades connected via a separation plate. A side plate supports the first blades located on one side in an axial direction, and a main plate supports the second blades on the other side in the axial direction. The separation plate has an inner diameter larger than or equal to an outer diameter of the main plate and larger than or equal to a largest inner diameter of the second blade. The separation plate has an outer diameter smaller than or equal to an inner diameter of the side plate and smaller than or equal to a smallest outer diameter of the first blade.

Centrifugal turbo-compressor having a gas flow path including a relaxation chamber

The centrifugal turbo-compressor (2) includes a hermetic casing (3); a drive shaft (6) having a longitudinal axis and rotatably arranged within the hermetic casing (3); a compression stage including an impeller (17) connected to the drive shaft (6); a gas suction inlet (42); and a gas flow path (P) fluidly connected to the gas suction inlet (42) and configured to supply the compression stage with a gas flow. The gas flow path (P) includes a relaxation chamber (46) at least partially surrounding the drive shaft (6), the gas suction inlet (42) emerging substantially radially into the relaxation chamber (46); and a plurality of inlet flow guide channels (51) fluidly connected to the relaxation chamber (46) and angularly distributed around the longitudinal axis of the drive shaft (6), the inlet flow guide channels (51) extending radially towards the drive shaft (6) and being axially offset from the gas suction inlet (42) and the relaxation chamber (46).

BLOWER

A blower may include a first case and a second case provided above the first case and having a first tower and a second tower that have a passage therebetween. A display assembly is received in the second case at a position that does not interfere with air flowing in the passage. An inner surface of the second tower and an outer surface of a diffuser define a space in which the display assembly is received.

BLOWING UNIT OF AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE

Disclosed is a blowing unit of an air conditioner for a vehicle, having a two-layer structure and capable of effectively suppressing a flow of air flowing backward around a scroll bell mouth. In a blowing unit of an air conditioner for a vehicle, having a scroll case in which a first flow path and a second flow path are partitioned so as to separate inside and outdoor air to be sucked, the scroll case has a partition wall for separating a suction part of the first flow path and a suction part of the second flow path, and the partition wall has an air backflow prevention part for preventing air flowing into one of the first flow path or the second flow path from flowing backward into the other.

COMPRESSOR

A compressor includes a rotation shaft which rotates around an axis, an impeller which press-feeds a fluid from one side in an axial direction toward an outward side in a radial direction by rotating together with the rotation shaft, a casing which surrounds the rotation shaft and the impeller and in which an exit flow channel for introducing a fluid press-fed from the impeller is formed, and an acoustic liner which is provided so as to face the inside of the exit flow channel in the casing. The acoustic liner has a plurality of open hole portions which are arranged with intervals therebetween, and acoustic spaces which communicate with the open hole portions and are independently provided for the respective open hole portions.
