ELECTRICAL SUBMERSIBLE PUMPING SYSTEMS
Systems and methods facilitate pumping of various fluids such as well fluids. An electric submersible pumping system is constructed with an outer housing that contains an integrated pump and motor. The pump may include an impeller disposed within a stator of the motor. The integration of the pump and the motor enables elimination of various components of traditional electric submersible pumping systems to thus provide a simpler and more compact system for pumping fluids.
Centrifugal pump for conveying a fluid
A centrifugal pump for conveying a fluid includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet for the fluid. An impeller is arranged in the housing for rotation in an axial direction to convey the fluid from the inlet to the outlet, a shaft extends in the axial direction for driving the impeller, and a stationary guide device for guiding the fluid from the impeller to the outlet is connected to the housing. A resilient compensating element is disposed between the housing and the guide device, is arranged around the shaft, and holds the guide device in a centered position to the impeller during a radial relative movement to the housing.
Oil and gas well pump components and method of coating such components
A centrifugal pump component for an oil and gas well pump includes a substrate with an outer surface configured to contact oil and gas well fluid. The component further includes a coating formed on at least a portion of the outer surface. The coating includes a combination of hard particles and a metal matrix.
Barrel Casing Pump and Method for Manufacturing a Barrel Casing Pump
A centrifugal pump having a barrel casing and at least one stage casing therein includes a transition from the last stage casing to the pressure connector of the barrel casing in the form of a spiral flow space. The contour of the spiral flow space is formed by a contour of the last stage casing, a contour of a cover which closes the barrel casing on an end face, and an inner contour of the barrel casing.
Diffuser anti-rotation system and apparatus
A diffuser anti-rotation system and apparatus is described. A diffuser anti-rotation system includes a circumferential coupling ring interlocked between a top of a first diffuser and a bottom of an adjacent diffuser. One end of the first diffuser includes at least one male register tab, the opposing end of the adjacent diffuser has at least one female register slot, and the coupling ring interlocks with the male register tab and the female register slot. One of the male register tabs and one of the female register slots are aligned axially and a single projection from the coupling ring interlocks with both the male register tab and the axially aligned female register slot. Impellers are mated with and rotating within each of the first diffuser and the adjacent diffuser, and the interlocked coupling ring prevents rotation of the first diffuser with respect to the adjacent diffuser.
Multistage centrifugal grinder pump
A multistage centrifugal grinder pump includes a grinder to grind a fluid, a first stage impeller, a second stage impeller, a stationary diffusor arranged between the first stage impeller and the second stage impeller to guide the fluid from the first stage impeller to the second stage impeller and a shaft to rotate the first stage impeller, the second stage impeller and the grinder. The first and second stage impellers in series and connected to the shaft in a torque-proof manner. The diffusor is a semi-open diffusor having a top wall, a radially outer annular side wall, and an open bottom side facing the first stage impeller, the top wall arranged adjacent the second stage impeller, the top wall having a central outlet opening surrounding the shaft, and the open bottom side extending beyond the first stage impeller with respect to a radial direction.
Abrasion-resistant thrust bearings for ESP pump
A multistage centrifugal pump has a rotatable shaft, a plurality of pump stages and a thrust module. Each of the plurality of pump stages has an impeller connected to the rotatable shaft and a stationary diffuser. The thrust module has a thrust runner and a unitary thrust pad. The unitary thrust pad has an axial wear face adjacent the thrust runner and a radial wear surface adjacent the rotatable shaft. The axial wear face and radial wear surface are integrated as a unitary component. The unitary thrust pad is secured to a thrust pad support with threaded fasteners that are torqued to a predetermined extent.
Balancing axial thrust in submersible well pumps
A first fluid rotor that has a first fluid intake end and a first fluid discharge end. The first fluid rotor includes a shaft and an impeller. A second fluid rotor that has a second fluid intake end and a second fluid discharge end. The second fluid rotor is rotatably coupled to the first fluid rotor to rotate in unison with the first fluid rotor along a shared rotational axis. The first fluid intake end and the second fluid intake end are facing opposite directions. The second fluid rotor includes a second shaft and a second impeller. A first fluid stator surrounds the first fluid rotor. The first fluid stator is aligned along the rotational axis. The first fluid rotor and the first fluid stator form a first fluid stage. A second fluid stator surrounds the second fluid rotor. The second fluid stator is aligned along the rotational axis. The second fluid stator and the second fluid rotor form a second fluid stage. A flow crossover sub is positioned between the first fluid stage and the second fluid stage. The flow crossover sub defines flow passages that fluidically connect the first fluid stage and the second fluid stage. An outer housing surrounds the first fluid stator, the second fluid stator, and the flow crossover sub.
Automatic fluid pump
An automatic fluid pump includes a pump body having a liquid channel and a mounting channel, the liquid channel having an inlet and an outlet and connected to a suction pipe and a delivery hose, respectively. A motor fan is disposed at a lower end of the suction pipe. A power controller is coupled to the pump body and circuit-connected to a battery, a terminal plate, and a switch. A valve case is coupled to the mounting channel in the form of a hopper formed at a lower end thereof with an inclined portion having an air hole. A valve case cap is coupled to the valve case. A main check valve is disposed on a lower surface of the valve case cap to open/close the through-holes. An auxiliary check valve is vertically moved up and down between the mounting channel and the air hole to open/close the air hole.
STICK PUMP ASSEMBLY
A stick pump assembly includes a tube having a first end, a second end, and an axis extending through the first and second ends. The tube accommodates fluid to flow therethrough. The stick pump assembly also includes a pump including a motor and an impeller. The pump has an inlet adjacent the first end and in fluid communication with the tube.
