Device and method for pasteurizing and filling medium into containers
A device for pasteurizing and filling medium into containers includes a short time heating system for pasteurizing the medium, a single buffer container downstream of the short time heating system for receiving the medium, and a rotary filling device downstream of the buffer container. The filling device is connected to the buffer container in a buffer-free manner and pipes and/or one or more rotary distributors are disposed between the filling device and the buffer container. A method for pasteurizing and filling medium into containers, where filling the containers with the medium is performed by way of a device in a buffer-free manner using a filling device, includes: pasteurizing the medium in the short time heating system, buffering the pasteurized medium in the buffer container, and filling the pasteurized medium into the containers. The pasteurized medium is transported in a buffer-free manner from the buffer container to the filling device.
ARTICLES INCLUDING UNDENATURED MEAT PROTEIN AND WATER CONDENSED FROM STEAM
An article includes a mixture release component defining a mixture release volume and also includes a heated mixture located within the mixture release volume. The heated mixture includes undenatured meat protein and water condensed from steam. A mixture release opening is included at an outlet end of the mixture release volume and this mixture release opening defines a passage from the mixture release volume to a vacuum chamber volume defined by a vacuum chamber. A vacuum is applied to the vacuum chamber volume. The steam from which the water has condensed comprises steam that has been placed in direct contact with a stream of undenatured meat protein in a direct steam injector having a mixture outlet operatively connected to the mixture release component.

Continuous differential-pressure steam sterilization system and method for a powder
A continuous differential-pressure steam sterilization system for a powder, and belongs to the field of material sterilization includes: a superheated steam generation system, a steam pressure and flow rate control system, a quantitative feeding system, an instantaneous differential-pressure sterilization system, a dust explosion suppression system, a sterile cooling system, a primary gas-solid separation system, a secondary gas-solid separation system, a sterile storage system, a steam recovery and reheating system, and a condensate recovery system. The continuous differential-pressure steam sterilization system shortens the thermal contact time and mainly accumulates the heat on the surface of the powder, rather than in the center of the powder, which reduces the damage to the nutritional quality of the powder. Comprehensive treatment methods such as superheated steam, temperature compensation and non-sticky inner lining are adopted to reduce the problem of powder binding, agglomeration, and even blocking in the pipe of the system.
Pasteurisation of microbial biomass suitable for food applications
The invention relates to a method for pasteurising a biomass, for example a fungal biomass, wherein the biomass is pasteurised using specific time and temperature parameters to obtain pasteurised biomass. The pasteurised biomass is suitable for use as a source of single-cell proteins in food products. The invention also relates to the pasteurised product, and to food products comprising it.
HEAT EXCHANGER AND USE OF HEAT EXCHANGER
There is provided a heat exchanger adapted to exchange heat between a first fluid and a second fluid. The heat exchanger comprises an outer tubular body, an inner body, a first inlet, a first outlet, a second inlet and a second outlet. The outer tubular body has an inner surface. The inner body is arranged inside the outer tubular body and has an outer surface facing the inner surface of the outer tubular body, leaving free a gap between the inner surface of the outer tubular body and the outer surface of the inner body. The first inlet and the first outlet are arranged to provide a first flow path for the first fluid from the first inlet to the first outlet via a first channel and via a second channel. The second inlet and the second outlet are arranged to provide a second flow path from the second inlet to the second outlet for the second fluid in the gap between the inner surface of the outer tubular body and the outer surface of the inner body. The outer tubular body comprises the first channel. The inner body comprises the second channel. The inner body and the second channel are rotatable relative to the outer tubular body and the first channel.
Overnight Oats
Food compositions comprising a milk ingredient and steam-treated uncooked grains are described. The compositions provide a convenient alternative to overnight oats. The food compositions preferably include yogurt and uncooked steam-treated oats, which form a food product that has a shelf stability at 4° C. of at least 60 days. Methods of making and using such food compositions are also described wherein the grains are treated with steam just before being mixed with the milk ingredient.
Beverage containing tea polymerized polyphenol and RebD and/or RebM
Tea polymerized polyphenol-containing beverages having reduced bitterness and astringency of tea polymerized polyphenols while maintaining tea-like preferable flavors, methods of production thereof, and the like are provided. The content of tea polymerized polyphenols in a beverage is adjusted to within a certain range, the total content of RebM and RebD in the beverage is adjusted to within a certain range, and the weight ratio of the total content of RebD and RebM to the content of the tea polymerized polyphenols is adjusted to within a certain range.
Process for Eradicating Insects, Semi Sterilizing, and Reducing Aflatoxin and Fumonisin in Dry Commodities, and Method of Use
A pulse cleaning system for disinfecting untreated grains and pulses. The pulse cleaning system comprises an outer body, a top end, a top outer edge, a bottom end, and a conveyor. The pulse cleaning system is useful in cleaning a dry commodity by inserting the dry commodity into the top end, cleaning the dry commodity within the outer body, releasing the dry commodity at the bottom end, and collecting the dry commodity on the conveyor. The outer body comprises a top opening at the top end, and a bottom opening at the bottom end. each among one or more exterior burner assemblies and an interior chamber strip burner is configured to create variable flame according to an end user's preference, or according to amounts of a fuel provided. after treatment by the pulse cleaning system, the dry commodity is referred to as a treated grains and pulses.
