11162364 · 2021-11-02 · ·

The invention relates to a method for repairing flow channel segments of a turbomachine. The method comprises providing a monocrystalline or directionally solidified flow channel segment whose length and width extend along the flow channel, each being greater than the thickness thereof, and whose width and length delimit a surface which constitutes a bounding surface of a flow channel and has damage, cleaning the bounding surface to remove impurities, remelting at least a part of the bounding surface in a surface region so that melted material solidifies epitaxially in an inner region facing toward the unmelted material and forms a structural region in which the monocrystalline or directionally solidified structure is preserved, and that melted material solidifies in a polycrystalline fashion in an outer region which faces toward the flow channel and forms an edge region, and removing the edge region.

Gas turbine blade impulse body module

The present invention relates to an impulse body module group with at least two impulse body modules, which, in particular, are identical in construction, for a gas turbine blade, wherein each of the impulse body modules comprises a housing, which, in particular, is of one piece and which has a first cavity, which is closed, in particular in an airtight manner, by a first cover, which is joined to the housing, in particular in a material-bonded manner, and in which a single, in particular spherical or cylindrical, first impulse body is accommodated with play of movement in at least one first direction of impact, wherein the housing has no additional cavity or a single additional cavity, in which a single, in particular spherical or cylindrical, additional impulse body is accommodated with play of movement in at least one direction of impact.

Turbomachine rotor and method for producing same

A turbomachine rotor having a radially inner hub element, a radially outer cover element, and rotor blades which extend between the hub element and the cover element and have rotor blade airfoils. The rotor blades are an integral component of the hub element and are bonded to the cover element according to a first alternative or are an integral component of the cover element and are bonded to the hub element according to a second alternative. The rotor blades have an integral socket adjacently to the cover element according to the first alternative or adjacently to the hub element according to the second alternative, and the rotor blades are bonded to the cover element according to the first alternative or to the hub element according to the second alternative via the socket.

Turbocharger with predetermined breaking point for an internal combustion engine

Disclosed is a turbocharger for an internal combustion engine, having a bearing housing. A turbocharger rotor is mounted to be rotatable in the bearing housing about the rotor axis of rotation of its rotor shaft, wherein a turbine wheel is arranged for conjoint rotation on the rotor shaft and in a turbine housing fixed on the bearing housing. Between the rotor shaft and the bearing housing, an oil seal for sealing the bearing housing with respect to the turbine housing is arranged between the turbine wheel and a radial bearing associated with the turbine wheel in order to seal the bearing housing with respect to the turbine housing. A predetermined breaking point is formed for the turbocharger rotor of the turbocharger which lies in a breaking point region and extends axially between the turbine wheel back and an axial end, facing the turbine wheel back, of the rotor-shaft oil seal.

TURBINE WHEEL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
20210025281 · 2021-01-28 ·

A turbine wheel consists of a first shroud component and a second bladed disc component. The shroud component comprises a shroud structure, a hub structure and a spoke formed integrally therewith and extending between the shroud structure and the hub structure. The bladed disc component comprises a hub member having inner and outer rims, turbine blades disposed on the outer rim, and at least one receiving zone for receiving the spoke, said at least one receiving zone extending radially between the inner and outer rims. The shroud component and the bladed disc component are connected and thus provide the turbine wheel with a shrouded portion. A shrouded turbine wheel can therefore be conveniently assembled starting from at least two components. Further, these components have simplified geometries for easy manufacture, for example using a casting technique, while the overall mechanical performance of the turbine is preserved or improved.
