Accumulator
A hydraulic accumulator including an energy storage apparatus with a first piston face configured to reversibly compress an energy storage medium and a second piston face forming at least part of an inner surface of a corresponding second fluid chamber reversibly expandable by movement of the second piston face. A third piston face forms at least part of an inner surface of a corresponding third fluid chamber reversibly expandable by the third piston face. The first, second and third piston faces are coupled together.

Hydraulic accumulator having a closing arrangement
A hydraulic accumulator having a closing arrangement. The accumulator has a housing, a removable end cap, a segmented locking ring, and a pilot ring. The housing has at least one opening, an interior space, and a ring recess adjacent the opening. The removable end cap is sized to close the opening when in a closed position. The segmented locking ring is removably positioned within the ring recess adjacent the end cap opposite the interior space to stop the end cap from moving in a first direction away from the interior space. The locking ring may be segmented. The pilot ring is removably connected to the end cap and positioned to hold the locking ring in the ring recess when connected to the end cap.

PLUNGER PRESSURE ACCUMULATOR
A plunger pressure accumulator includes a shell; and a plunger which is adapted to move relative to the shell into an interior space of the shell. The interior space is divided into at least two subspaces, a first subspace of which is suppliable with hydraulic fluid of an external system and a second subspace which is provided with a pressurized gas. Between the plunger and the shell is arranged a slide element upon which the plunger is supported to move to a distance apart from an internal surface of the first subspace and from an internal surface of the second subspace. The plunger pressure accumulator is provided with at least one regenerator which is stationary relative to the shell or the plunger.

Subsea installation
A subsea installation. The subsea installation comprises a tank containing an insulation fluid or other fluid, a heat generating electric apparatus positioned at least partly within the tanks, and a pressure compensator being in fluid communication with the tank and being configured to compensate volume variations of the insulation fluid or the other fluid by performing an expansive and a contracting movement. The subsea installation comprises further means for heating the insulation fluid or the other fluid, said means for heating being configured to provide heating to the insulation fluid or the other fluid with the heat generating electric apparatus is in a non-operating state in order to reduce the volume variations of the insulation fluid or the other fluid.

Accumulator piston for use in vehicle transmission system
An accumulator piston configured to be situated within an accumulator bore of a housing for use in vehicle transmissions. The accumulator piston including a casing, the casing including a top surface, a bottom surface opposite the top surface, and a side wall situated between the top surface and the bottom surface, a pin guide protruding from the top surface of the casing, the pin guide including a centrally disposed aperture, the aperture configured to receive an elongated pin, and a sealing member encircling the side wall of the casing such that the sealing member covers any exposed surface of the side wall.
Pressure compensator in a bubble of liquid encased in ice
A pressure compensator for regulating the pressure in a bubble of liquid entirely enclosed in a forming volume of ice, atop which is a volume of gas, and which is contained in a reservoir closed by walls. The compensator includes a plunger formed of a head atop a body. The faces of the body of the plunger have a taper which is positive or zero in an essentially vertical, top to bottom direction.
