HYDRAULIC VALVE WITH PRESSURE LIMITER FUNCTION
A hydraulic system includes first and second valve assemblies connected to a common pump. The first valve assembly includes a main valve housed inside a manifold. A pressure compensator valve maintains a constant pressure drop across a variable orifice of the main valve. A pressure limiter valve is in communication with the main valve and the pressure compensator valve, and allows an actuator connected to the first valve assembly to operate independently of the second valve assembly so that fluid flow to a work port of the first valve assembly is not interrupted by operation of the second valve assembly.

HYDRAULIC CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A closed-loop hydraulic circuit associated with a swing mechanism of a machine is controlled to obtain both a pressure control during acceleration and deceleration of the swing mechanism and a velocity control during coasting. In this manner, a system pressure in closed-loop hydraulic circuit is maintained below a maximum allowable pressure during acceleration and deceleration, and the swing mechanism can be rotated at a desired constant speed during coasting. This is achieved by controlling a hydraulic actuator adjusting the displacement of a variable displacement pump in different control modes, depending on a comparison between a desired displacement of the pump and an actual displacement of the same.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
A hydraulic system includes: a single-rod hydraulic cylinder; a variable displacement pump driven by a rotating machine; a rod-side supply line and a head-side supply line that connect the pump to the hydraulic cylinder; a first tank line that is branched off from the rod-side supply line and connects to a tank; a second tank line that is branched off from the head-side supply line and connects to the tank; and a flow rate adjuster. The flow rate adjuster is configured to: switch a delivery capacity of the pump to a first setting value when a pressure of the head-side supply line is higher than a pressure of the rod-side supply line; and switch the delivery capacity of the pump to a second setting value less than the first setting value when the pressure of the rod-side supply line is higher than the pressure of the head-side supply line.
Hydraulic valve device with multiple working sections with pump control system with by-pass line
Modular directional valve with two or more crossing elements (E1 . . . En) able, acting only on the entry side, to manage a variable displacement pump (PA) of the load sensing type. In particular, this management allows in a single drive, unlike the conventional crossing distributors, to make the flow rate to the utility independent of the load and allows setting a maximum flow rate at the end of the stroke; in multiple drives, it ensures that the sum of the required flow rates is independent of the loads. A compensated flow rate regulator is placed in the entry side so as to act only on the bypass line LC upstream of the first element (E1 . . . En) while a proportional choke is placed on the load line consisting of a 2-way 2-position tray.
Control System For Auxiliary Power Source
A control system includes a variable displacement hydraulic pump, the pump having an inlet for receiving fluid, an outlet for discharging fluid under pressure, and a pump displacement input, a hydraulic motor having an inlet and an outlet, a fluid circuit including a supply conduit for conducting fluid discharged by the pump to the motor and a return conduit for returning fluid discharged by the motor to the pump, a pump displacement control cooperating with the pump displacement input in order to vary a displacement of the pump, a control circuit in communication with the pump displacement control for controlling the pump output such that the motor is driven at a constant rotational speed, and a system controller in communication with the control circuit and a remote location to transmit and receive information to and from the remote location.
Regulating Device for Pump Pressure and Pump Volumetric Flow Rate, having Concentric Control Slide Valves
A regulating device for use with a pump that has a hydraulically adjustable displacement volume, wherein the regulating device includes an inflow port, a return flow port, an actuating port, a control port, a first control slide valve, and a second control slide valve. The first control slide valve is linearly movable with respect to a center axis, the first control slide valve defining first and second orifices, which are adjustable jointly and in opposite directions. The second control slide valve is linearly movable and defines third and fourth orifices, which are adjustable jointly and in opposite directions. The second control slide valve is accommodated in a linearly movable manner within the first control slide valve.
Directional control valve
An example valve section includes: a valve body configured to be fluidly coupled to the source and the actuator; a spool movable in the valve body intermediate the source and the actuator; a pressure compensator valve disposed upstream from the spool and configured to regulate flow received from the source, where the valve body defines (i) a first passage disposed upstream from the spool and configured to fluidly couple the pressure compensator valve to the spool, and (ii) a second passage disposed downstream from the spool and configured to fluidly couple the spool to the actuator; and a counterbalance valve disposed in the second passage downstream from the spool, where the counterbalance valve is opened to permit flow therethrough from the actuator to the spool in response to a pilot pressure derived from the first passage when the spool is shifted from a neutral position.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR CYCLE TIME MANAGEMENT
A hydraulic work system can include a continuously variable displacement hydraulic pump that is powered by an engine and is in communication with a hydraulic actuator. A run-time displacement of the hydraulic pump for movement of the hydraulic actuator can be controlled based on a speed of the engine.
