Valve system for pneumatic cylinders
A valve system for use with a cylinder having an extensible rod, includes first and second valve assemblies, each including an inlet/outlet port configured to selectively be coupled with a source of pressurized gas, a check valve biased toward a closed state and having a check valve body at least partially receivable within a first port of the cylinder, a flow control valve positioned in series between the inlet/outlet port and the check valve, and an inlet pilot port connected with the check valve for opening the check valve when supplied with pressurized gas. First and second pilot lines extend to the respective inlet pilot ports from respective outlet pilot ports of the opposite ones of the first and second valve assemblies. When pressurized gas is supplied to the inlet/outlet port of a valve assembly, pressurized gas is also supplied to the opposite inlet pilot port.
VALVE DEVICE
A valve device that changes the direction of flow of a hydraulic fluid supplied to and discharged from a cylinder mechanism to actuate the cylinder mechanism, the valve device including: a control valve including a main spool axially movable between different positions; a lock valve including a plunger and a pressure chamber; and a selector valve including a selector spool operable in conjunction with the main spool to axially move between different positions, the selector spool being located adjacent to the main spool and having an axis crossing an axis of the main spool.
Hydraulic control valve configured to use a pilot signal as a substitute load-sense signal
An example valve assembly is configured: generate a valve load-sense pressure signal indicative of a pressure level at a workport of an actuator; generate a pilot fluid signal to be communicated to a worksection of a valve assembly to enable shifting a spool in the worksection; compare a first pressure level of the valve load-sense pressure signal to a second pressure level of the pilot fluid signal; and communicate the pilot fluid signal to a load-sense port fluidly coupled to a load-sensing source of pressurized fluid when the second pressure level of the pilot fluid signal exceeds the first pressure level of the valve load-sense pressure signal.
Electrohydraulic normally-open ventable valve configured to operate in pressure relief mode when actuated
An example valve includes: (i) a pilot seat member comprising: (a) one or more channels fluidly coupled to a first port of the valve, (b) a pilot seat, and (c) a pilot sleeve portion comprising a pilot chamber and a cross-hole disposed in an exterior peripheral surface of the pilot sleeve portion; (ii) a pilot check member disposed in the pilot chamber and subjected to a biasing force of a setting spring disposed in the pilot chamber to seat the pilot check member at the pilot seat; and (iii) a solenoid actuator sleeve slidably accommodated about the exterior peripheral surface of the pilot sleeve portion of the pilot seat member, wherein the solenoid actuator sleeve includes a cross-hole disposed in an exterior peripheral surface of the solenoid actuator sleeve, wherein the cross-hole of the solenoid actuator sleeve is fluidly coupled to a second port of the valve.
Proportional flow control valve with counterbalance valve integrated therewith
An example valve includes: a first port configured to be fluidly coupled to an actuator; a second port configured to be fluidly coupled to a reservoir; a third port configured to provide an output pilot fluid signal and receive an input pilot fluid signal; a fourth port configured to be fluidly coupled to a source of fluid; a pilot poppet configured to be subjected to a first fluid force of fluid received at the first port; a pilot piston interfacing with the pilot poppet and configured to be subjected to a second fluid force of the input pilot fluid signal; a solenoid actuator sleeve that is axially movable between an unactuated state and an actuated state; and at least one setting spring configured to apply a biasing force on the pilot piston and the pilot poppet.
Proportional flow control and counterbalance valve having single seat configuration
An example valve includes: a first port configured to be fluidly coupled to an actuator; a second port configured to be fluidly coupled to a reservoir; a third port configured to provide an output pilot fluid signal and receive an input pilot fluid signal; a fourth port configured to be fluidly coupled to a source of fluid; a pilot poppet configured to be subjected to a first fluid force of fluid received at the first port and configured to be subjected to a second fluid force of the input pilot fluid signal; a solenoid actuator sleeve that is axially movable between an unactuated state and an actuated state; and at least one setting spring configured to apply a biasing force on the pilot poppet.
Zoned manifold assembly for solenoid valve control system
A zoned fluid control system in a valve manifold system has a plurality of manifold blocks connected together and a plurality of control valves mounted to the manifold blocks with the control valves being electrically actuated and pilot pressure operated. The plurality of manifold blocks forms at least first and second separate pilot pressure passages of a respective first zone and second zone not connected to each other for supplying a respective first set and second set of control valves with independently controlled pilot pressure. A pilot supply valve selectively supplies pilot pressure and shuts off pilot pressure to the second pilot pressure passage without affecting the pilot pressure to the first pilot pressure passage thereby disabling the second set of control valves as a separate zone independent from the first set of control valves.
Electrohydraulic actuator
A modular electrohydraulic actuator including an electric motor, a hydraulic pump driven by the electric motor, and a hydraulic actuator in fluid communication with the hydraulic pump. The hydraulic actuator includes a hydraulic cylinder supporting a pressure sleeve in which a piston and rod is adapted for reciprocating motion in response to a supply of pressurized fluid to a first side or a second side of the piston, wherein at least one of the electric motor, hydraulic pump, hydraulic cylinder, piston, piston rod or the pressure sleeve supported in the hydraulic cylinder is selectively removable and replaceable with a different component to vary at least one performance characteristic of the electrohydraulic actuator.
