20170363119 · 2017-12-21 ·

A hood lifting mechanism according to various implementations includes a housing and a piston. A distal end of the piston is urged away from a distal end of the housing to lift a hood upwardly away from a vehicle body in response to the vehicle hitting a pedestrian. To prevent the piston from rattling or moving within the housing while in a stored position, a portion of the piston and a portion of the housing form an interference fit in the stored position. A gas generator in fluid communication with a proximal end of the housing provides sufficient force to overcome the interference fit and urge the distal end of the piston out of the housing.

Head Fastening Arrangement of Cooling Compressor

The present invention belongs to the technological field of the head fastening and its components to the block of a compressor, such as those used in cooling systems of household appliances. The head fastening arrangement of cooling compressor includes a head arranged by the cylinder of the cooling compressor and having a head lid; at least one supporting device also arranged by the cylinder; at least one element of union of the head lid to the supporting device, wherein the element of union is capable of transmitting force that presses the head lid and the supporting device against the cylinder.

ASSEMBLY METHOD OF A PISTON-CYLINDER GROUP AND A PISTON-CYLINDER GROUP THUS OBTAINED

An assembly method of a piston-cylinder group (10), where the piston-cylinder group (10) includes a cylinder (20) at an end of which a head (40) is fixable, provided with seal gaskets (43). The method includes the steps of: mounting the seal gaskets (43) in appropriate seatings in the head (40); coupling the head (40) with the cylinder (20); and a low-temperature welding of the coupling between the head (40) and the cylinder (20).

Fluid pressure cylinder

An open end of a cylinder main body is blocked by a cap, which includes a main body portion, and an outer edge portion that bends from the main body portion toward the open end of the cylinder main body, a distal end of the outer edge portion being locked with an inner circumferential wall. When a piston comes into abutment against the main body portion, a space is formed by the outer edge portion, the inner circumferential wall, and the end surface of the piston. A first port is disposed so as to communicate with the space, whereby the space serves as a space into which the pressure fluid is introduced.

No-bolt security latching system

A system for securing a valve actuator to body of a valve assembly includes an actuator housing having housing lugs protruding radially to define a plurality of housing slots therebetween. A bonnet has bonnet lugs protruding radially to define a plurality of bonnet slots therebetween. Each of the housing lugs are sized to pass axially through a respective one of the bonnet slots when the actuator housing is in a released position and, after passing through the bonnet slots, the actuator housing is rotatable to a locked position where at least a portion of one or more of the housing lugs is axially aligned with a portion of a respective bonnet lug to prevent axial movement of the actuator housing, the actuator housing rotating less than one full revolution between the released and locked positions. A securing mechanism prevents relative rotation between the actuator housing and the bonnet.

Displacement pump mounting and retention

A pump rod has a head extending from a neck, and the head is received within a drive slot of a drive link. The head includes a projection, and has an area smaller than an area of the head. The projection contacts an inner surface of the drive slot. The drive link may include a projection aligned with a centerline of the drive link. The drive link projection contacts a head of the pump rod. The projections provide a reduced contact area between the pump rod and the drive link, thereby reducing any side-loading on the pump rod and increasing a lifespan of the wear parts.

Pressure resistant device and fluid pressure cylinder

A pressure resistant device includes a tubular main body portion, a lid portion having a wall portion joined to the main body portion, a positioning portion provided to oppose an inner peripheral surfaces of the main body portion and the wall portion, and a groove portion formed on the inner peripheral surface, and the positioning portion is provided to oppose an edge of the groove portion.

MANUFACTURING METHOD OF JOINED BODY
20210346978 · 2021-11-11 · ·

A manufacturing method includes a joining step of abutting and joining an end surface of a tube main body and a projecting portion of a head member by frictional welding in a state in which a through hole of the tube main body and the projecting portion of the head member are fitted with a fitting clearance. In the joining step, flow material which is practically flowed from an end surface of the tube main body and the flange portion of the head member is filled in the fitting clearance from the root side until the tip portion is located within the range in the direction of the rotation axis, thereby joining between a non-contact portion and the tube main body and between an inclined inner peripheral surface of the tube main body and an outer peripheral surface of the projecting portion by the flow material.

Hydrostatic pressure cylinder

In a hydrostatic pressure cylinder, a holding member which holds a magnet is mounted on a piston unit to rotate together with a cylinder tube. The cylinder tube is capable of rotating with respect to a rod cover and a head cover. It is thereby possible to change an attachment position of a magnetic sensor by rotating the cylinder tube.

Method for repairing a piston-cylinder unit within a working machine

Disclosed is a method for repairing a piston-cylinder unit within a working machine or within an attachment, wherein a connection of the piston rod with the machine or implement structure is released and the piston rod, the piston and at least one bearing head is jointly removed from the cylinder housing as an assembly and replaced by a premounted substitute assembly consisting of piston rod, piston and at least one bearing head.
