Low profile electro-hydrostatic actuator
In general, certain embodiments of the present disclosure provide an electro-hydrostatic actuator comprising a piston assembly and a hydraulic cylinder. The piston assembly, having a piston head and a piston rod extending from the piston head, is located and movable within the hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder includes a hydraulic fluid chamber region including a piston side chamber and a rod side chamber, a reservoir for storing hydraulic fluid located within the hydraulic cylinder which is in fluid communication with the hydraulic fluid chamber region. The electro-hydrostatic actuator includes a hydraulic pump system for moving hydraulic fluid in the reservoir and the hydraulic fluid chamber region, the hydraulic pump system in fluid communication with a flow control network in a hydraulic cylinder boss for controlling a direction and flow magnitude of hydraulic fluid within the hydraulic fluid chamber region, and an electric motor for driving the hydraulic pump system.
Actuator module
An electro-hydraulic linear actuator module comprising a stator having a cylindrical bore therethrough, a linear electric machine translator movable axially within the stator bore, a positive displacement chamber adjacent each end of the translator for holding, in use, an incompressible fluid, first and second fluid pathways, one to each chamber, for the flow of an incompressible fluid, wherein movement of the translator along the stator bore alters the volumes of the chambers.
SYSTEM THAT MAINTAINS THE LAST COMMANDED POSITION OF DEVICE CONTROLLED BY A TWO-STAGE, FOUR-WAY ELECTROHYDRAULIC SERVO VALVE UPON POWER INTERRUPTION
A system uses a two-stage, four-way electrohydraulic servo valve that includes an additional control port that commands a fail-fixed valve to lock the position of a device in the last commanded position. The additional port is modulated by an existing land on the EHSV valve element, adding little to no complexity. Major technical benefits of the disclosed system are that it adds little to no cost, complexity, size, or weight the device being controlled. The disclosed configuration allows for the use of a relatively small and simple fail-fixed valve, and the control ports on the controlled device keep “drift” to a minimum, when transitioning between normal operating mode and fail-fixed operating mode.
Valve assembly and method of cooling
This present invention relates to a fluid flow control device, such as a valve in an internal combustion exhaust pipe. The fluid flow control device includes a valve assembly and an actuator assembly. The fluid flow control device further includes a cooling ring positioned between the actuator assembly and valve assembly in order to thermally isolate the sensors, controllers and other elements of the actuator assembly from heat that may be present in the valve assembly.
VALVE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF COOLING
This present invention relates to a fluid flow control device, such as a valve in an internal combustion exhaust pipe. The fluid flow control device includes a valve assembly and an actuator assembly. The fluid flow control device further includes a cooling ring positioned between the actuator assembly and valve assembly in order to thermally isolate the sensors, controllers and other elements of the actuator assembly from heat that may be present in the valve assembly.
COMPRESSOR
A compressor is disclosed. The compressor compressing and discharging a refrigerant sucked inside a cylinder includes a frame configured to support the cylinder, and a discharge cover assembly disposed in front of the frame. A gas layer is formed between the discharge cover assembly and the frame.
FLUID CONTROL APPARATUS
A fluid control apparatus includes: a metal plate; a heater configured to heat the metal plate; a first joint block and a second joint block provided on an installation surface of the metal plate, extending in a predetermined direction, and formed with a flow passage therein; a first pipe extending along the predetermined direction between the first joint block and the second joint block; a heat transfer cover provided on the installation surface of the metal plate; and a first fluid control device mounted to the first joint block and the second joint block so as to straddle over the first pipe. The heat transfer cover has a rectangular cross-sectional shape, extends along the predetermined direction, and includes a first cover member and a second cover member mounted around an outer circumference of the first pipe in contact with each other. The first cover member covers a part in a cross section of the first pipe and has a first abutment surface abutting on the installation surface of the metal plate. The second cover member covers another part in a cross section of the first pipe and has a second abutment surface abutting on the first fluid control device.
PRESSURE REGULATOR FOR X-RAY APPARATUS
A pressure regulator for an x-ray apparatus includes a piston housing having a recess formed therein and a piston seated in the recess. The piston is free to reciprocate, and define a variable volume chamber, within the recess. A circumferential groove is formed in an exterior surface of the piston, and a seal is seated in the circumferential groove. A manifold in the piston housing places the chamber in fluid communication with an exterior of the piston housing.
ACTUATOR MODULE

A dust-proof and heat-control device for hydraulic cylinder is provided, including: a fixing sleeve, an annular fan mechanism, a sealing end cap and a dust cover; wherein the fixing sleeve is sleeved on a cylinder barrel of the hydraulic cylinder, the annular fan mechanism is sleeved on the fixing sleeve, the sealing end cap is disposed on an end of the cylinder barrel, a piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder passes through the sealing end cap and the dust cover, the dust cover is fixed on the piston rod, the annular fan mechanism, the dust cover and the hydraulic cylinder enclose an inner space, a side wall of the dust cover is provided with an opening communicating with the inner space, and a filter screen is mounted at the opening. The device and method can achieve good dust proof and heat control effect on axially reciprocating telescopic hydraulic cylinder.
