A hydraulic system according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes: control valves interposed between a main pump and hydraulic actuators; and solenoid proportional valves connected to pilot ports of the control valves. Among the solenoid proportional valves, a first solenoid proportional valve and a second solenoid proportional valve are connected to a pair of pilot ports of a particular control valve, respectively. The first solenoid proportional valve and the second solenoid proportional valve are directly connected to an auxiliary pump. The solenoid proportional valves except the first solenoid proportional valve and the second solenoid proportional valve are connected to the auxiliary pump via a switching valve. The switching valve includes a pilot port that is connected, by a switching pilot line, to a first pilot line between the first solenoid proportional valve and the particular control valve.

The hydraulic machine being configured to actively control at least the low-pressure valves of the group of one or more working chambers to select the net displacement of hydraulic fluid by each working chamber on each cycle of working chamber volume, and thereby the net displacement of hydraulic fluid by the group of one or more working chambers, responsive to a demand signal, wherein the apparatus further comprises a controller configured to calculate the demand signal in response to a measured property of the hydraulic circuit or one or more actuators.

A control valve drive section drives the first control valve such that a communication area between the first hydraulic pump and the tank is enlarged corresponding to an increase in the load on the first hydraulic actuator; and a flow rate control section, during supply of the hydraulic fluid from the first and second hydraulic pumps to the first hydraulic actuator, controls to reduce a delivery flow rate of the first hydraulic pump corresponding to an increase in the load on the first hydraulic actuator.

The hydraulic system according to the present invention includes: an arm cylinder and a boom cylinder that are connected to first and second hydraulic pumps, respectively; a first boom control valve that is disposed in the discharge flow path of the second hydraulic pump; a second boom control valve that is disposed in the discharge flow path of the first hydraulic pump and causes the working fluid of the first hydraulic pump to converge with the working fluid which is supplied from the second hydraulic pump to the boom cylinder; a first arm control valve that is disposed in the discharge flow path of the first hydraulic pump; a second arm control valve that is disposed in the discharge flow path of the second hydraulic pump and causes the working fluid of the second hydraulic pump to converge with the working fluid which is supplied from the first hydraulic pump to the arm cylinder; a recycle valve that is disposed in the flow path between the working fluid inlet port of the first arm control valve and a hydraulic tank; and a second boom control valve spool having a parallel pressure section in which the boom-up pilot pressure does not increase with respect to the boom-up strokes during the simultaneous boom-up and arm-in operation.

The first selector valve 96 switches the hydraulic fluid source of the second special hydraulic actuator 64 connected to the second auxiliary directional control valve 84 at least between the third hydraulic pump 33 and the additional hydraulic pump 97. Operability for combined operation of a special attachment can be improved in the hydraulic drive system equipped in advance with an auxiliary directional control valve that is connectable with an additional hydraulic actuator for driving the special attachment.

When a second pilot pressure is output, the control valve causes the operating oil to be discharged from a first port in order to lower the object. The lock valve is disposed so as to be able to prevent the operating oil from being discharged from the first port by closing a path between the first port and the control valve, and only when a third pilot pressure is output, allows the operating oil to be discharged from the first port by opening the path between the first port and the control valve.

A hydraulic drive system raises and lowers an object by supplying and discharging operating oil to and from two ports of an actuator and includes a control device, first to fifth electromagnetic proportional control valves, first and second hydraulic pumps, a first and second control valve, and a lock valve. When a fourth pilot pressure is output, the second control valve causes the operating oil to be discharged from a first port in order to lower the object. The lock valve prevents the operating oil from being discharged from the first port by closing a path between the first port and the second control valve, and when a fifth pilot pressure is output from the fifth electromagnetic proportional control valve per an operating device, discharges the operating oil from the first port by opening the path between the first port and the second control valve, to lower the object.

A hydraulic excavator drive system includes: a first pump that supplies hydraulic oil to a boom cylinder via a boom control valve, and supplies the hydraulic oil to a bucket cylinder via a first bucket control valve; a second pump that supplies the hydraulic oil to an arm cylinder via an arm control valve; a third pump that supplies the hydraulic oil to a slewing motor via a slewing control valve, and supplies the hydraulic oil to the bucket cylinder via a second bucket control valve; and a controller that moves one of the first bucket control valve and the second bucket control valve when a bucket excavating operation or a bucket dumping operation is performed concurrently with another operation, and moves both the first bucket control valve and the second bucket control valve when a bucket excavating operation is performed alone.
