Flow Control Valve with Load-Sense Signal Generation
An example valve includes a first port fluidly coupled to a source of fluid, a second port fluidly coupled to an actuator, a third port fluidly coupled to a reservoir, and a fourth port configured to export a load-sense (LS) fluid signal. The valve can operate in: a neutral state, wherein fluid is allowed to flow from the second port to the third port, while the first port and the fourth port are blocked; a first actuated state, wherein fluid flow is throttled from the second port to the third port, while the first port and the fourth port remain blocked; or a second actuated state, wherein fluid flow from the second port to the third port is blocked, while fluid flow is allowed from the first port to the second port and from the second port to the fourth port.
VALVE
A valve, having a valve housing, in which a housing interior is formed, in which a movable valve slide is located. The valve slide is impinged upon by a compression spring that is supported via a supporting element on the valve housing. The supporting element has a supporting wall, from which a plurality of supporting arms protrudes, which axially overlap the valve slide in each axial position. On the supporting arms guide surfaces are formed for linear guidance of the valve slide. The supporting arms are springily deflectable and in each case have a radial support surface, with which they are supported on the valve housing.
Proportional Control Fluid Actuator
A proportional control fluid actuator that is used as a positioning device in applications such as a hydraulic directional control valve. The activating device has a cylinder body attachable to a valve body and has a bore carrying a piston that is coaxially secured to an end of a valve spool. The device is provided with spaced openings in the cylinder body that communicate with the bore therein to introduce fluid to act on opposite sides of the piston. Factory pre-compressed spring means are provided for normally urging the piston and spool to a center position. Since the areas of the fluid pressure applied on both sides of the piston are different (due to a spool on one side of the piston), two pre-compressed springs are used to compensate the area difference to achieve a proportional movement of the spool.
Apparatus for controlling a hydraulic machine
An apparatus for controlling a hydraulic machine, for example a turbine, pump or pump turbine, using variable-speed driven fixed displacement pumps. The apparatus includes a device for carrying out an emergency shut-off that is characterized by low energy consumption and high efficiency while guaranteeing all the operation-relevant and safety-relevant requirements of a hydraulic machine.
Single-Line Control System For A Well Tool
A control system can include a resettable chamber and a bidirectional valve. The bidirectional valve can be switchable between (i) a first configuration for enabling fluid flow from the control line into a first port of a well tool and from a second port of the well tool into the resettable chamber, and (ii) a second configuration for enabling fluid flow from the control line into the second port of the well tool and from the first port of the well tool into the resettable chamber. The bidirectional valve can be switched from the first configuration to the second configuration in response to pressure being applied to the control line.
Valve, Hydraulic System and Motor Vehicle Gearbox
A valve (V, V1, V2) includes a housing (VG) and a piston (VK) displaceably guided therein. A first end (VK1) of the piston (VK) can be acted upon by a force, with the aid of which the piston (VK) is displaceable against a spring (F) acting upon a second end (VK2) of the piston (VK). The valve (V, V1, V2) has four switching conditions, in which four ports (A, B, P, T) in the housing (VG) are selectively connectable to one another or blocked with respect to one another. In a first switching condition, none of the ports (A, B, P, T) are connected to one another. The spring (F) is configured in such that, in the absence of an application of force onto the first end (VK1), the piston (VK) is held in a position, which corresponds to the first switching condition of the valve (V, V1, V2).
SERVO VALVE
A servo valve is provided with a first elastic portion, a second elastic portion, and a connecting portion. The first elastic portion extends in an X direction inside a valve body and has a first elastic force exerted on a movable element toward an X2 direction. The second elastic portion extends in the X direction inside the valve body and has a second elastic force exerted on the movable element toward an X1 direction. The connecting portion is connected to the first elastic portion and the second elastic portion inside the valve body, and is in abutment against a step portion of the valve body and a spool of the movable element at a neutral position of the movable element.
Valve Arrangement and Control Method
For the purpose of providing a valve arrangement for controlling pneumatic drives with protection against a sudden automatic change in the initial switching position without an input signal in the event of a fault in a resetting device of a pilot stage and, for this situation, effective fault identification by purely pneumatic means, said valve arrangement comprises a first and a second working connection (1; 2), which can be connected to a drive, and a first and a second electropneumatically pilot-controlled directional valve, in which valve arrangement one or both directional valves is or are arranged upstream of the working connections (1; 2) for the purpose of influencing and venting said working connections, wherein the pilot stages of both directional valves are of automatically resetting design and the second directional valve is designed for alternately assuming an inoperative position and a switching position and the pilot stage of the first directional valve has an external control connection (8; 8) which can be influenced by means of the second directional valve in its switching position and can be vented by means of said second directional valve in its inoperative position, wherein the second directional valve has, as a resetting device for the main stage (14), an air spring (19) which can be influenced and can be vented externally by means of the first directional valve, and a change in state between influencing or venting of the air spring (19) after the first directional valve assumes a switching position takes place only depending on the change in the switching state of the first directional valve, and a change in state between influencing or venting at one working connection (1; 2) after previous influencing or venting which took place with the second directional valve assuming the switching position takes place only depending on the second directional valve assuming the inoperative position.
HYDRAULIC VALVE
A hydraulic valve includes: two spools arranged in a valve main body individually movable in an axial direction and in parallel with each other, end parts thereof being housed in a common pressure chamber, and having respective guide shaft parts on the end parts thereof; a return spring provided between each of the spools and the valve main body, so that a flow of oil is controlled by a movement of the two spools with respect to the valve main body against a spring force of each of the return springs in a case where a pilot pressure is supplied to the pressure chamber; and a coupling member that is arranged in bridged between the guide shaft parts of the two spools and that is pressed in a direction of becoming closer to the spools by the return springs.
