The electro-hydraulic actuator further includes a hydraulic fluid supply circuit comprising a piezo-electric pump operable to supply pressurised fluid to the active chamber to change the actuator between first and second extension states.
HYDRAULIC DRIVE SYSTEM FOR A PUNCHING APPARATUS

FLUID CONTROL ASSEMBLY AND SYSTEM
A fluid system includes a fluid control assembly in fluid communication with a fluid source in fluid communication with a fluid supply port and the fluid control assembly is in fluid communication with an actuator via an outlet port. A controller controls at least one supply valve and at least one exhaust valve. The at least one supply valve and exhaust valve are in a normally closed position until being actuated by the controller to an open position. The fluid control assembly includes a pressure sensor in communication with the outlet port. Whereby when pressure in the outlet port is less than a predetermined pressure, a controller opens the supply valve to communicate fluid to the actuator via the actuator line and when the pressure in the outlet port is greater than a predetermined pressure the controller opens the exhaust valve to vent the is outside a predetermined range.
HYDRAULIC DRIVE SYSTEM FOR A POST DRIVER OF A SKID STEER LOADER
A hydraulic system for driving a post driver of a skid steer loader. The hydraulic system includes a master cylinder disposed between a valve, such as a 4-way valve, and the driver cylinder of the post driver. The master cylinder effectively provides that hydraulic fluid from the 4-way valve to the hydraulic system of the skid steer loader can flow freely without needing an auxiliary pump and motor to overcome resistance in the return line back to the skid steer loader hydraulic system. By eliminating the restriction in the return line of the driver cylinder, a very fast retraction can be achieved, improving the impact performance of the system.
Pneumatic actuator and portable tool
A pneumatic actuator (240), comprising: a pressure reducer (270) for delivering gas under a reduced pressure to a control valve; the control valve (280) selectively supplying gas to a pneumatic cylinder (290) or discharging gas from the cylinder (290) to the environment; a replaceable gas capsule (260) for supplying the gas under increased pressure; where the actuator has a first mode of operation for moving the piston (293) to the extended position, and has a second mode of operation for retracting the piston (293). A method for assembling a pneumatic actuator. A portable tool, a clamping device, a screw clamp comprising such a pneumatic actuator. A method for assembling the screw clamp. A method for repairing the screw clamp.
WALKING EXCAVATOR
A walking excavator (1) having a superstructure (2) and an undercarriage (29), and a cab (3) disposed on the superstructure (2), and four walking legs (4) pivotably disposed on the undercarriage (29), and an excavator arm (5) which is pivotably mounted on the superstructure (2) and to which an excavating tool (6), in particular an excavator bucket, is fastened or able to be fastened. A dual-action differential cylinder (7) pivots the excavator arm (5) up and down relative to the superstructure (2) and is articulated on the superstructure (2), on one side, and on the excavator arm (5), on an other side. For applying additional force along with the dual-action differential cylinder (7) when pivoting the excavator arm (5) down relative to the superstructure (2), a single-action differential cylinder (8) is additionally articulated on the superstructure (2), on one side, and on the excavator arm (5), on an other side.
Hydraulic control device for forklift
A hydraulic control device for a forklift includes a hydraulic pump, a single electric motor for driving the hydraulic pump, an outflow control mechanism provided between a lift cylinder and the hydraulic pump, a flow control valve provided between the outflow control mechanism and a draining portion, and a controller. When a lowering operation of a fork and either forward or rearward mast tilting operations of a mast are performed at the same time, the controller controls the electric motor based on a target speed of the hydraulic pump. The flow control valve controls the flow rate of hydraulic fluid from the lift cylinder to the hydraulic pump and the flow rate from the lift cylinder to the draining portion in accordance with the difference between the actual rotation speed of the hydraulic pump and the target rotation speed of the hydraulic pump.
Testing of safety devices
Many operators choose not to utilise partial-stroke testing arrangements even when the equipment required for it to be performed is available, due to a perceived risk of over-travel and/or spurious trip. To alleviate this, we describe a safety valve system comprising a valve operable to move between an operating state and a safe state, a valve actuator operatively connected to the valve to control its state, and including a bias toward the safe state, a pair of drive members powered by a pressure media, each acting against the bias to urge the valve toward the operating state, a first control valve arranged to selectively convey pressure media to both drive members and to withdraw supply on receipt of a safety trigger, and a second control valve arranged to selectively convey pressure media to one drive member only of the pair and to withdraw supply on receipt of a test signal. In this way, a partial stroke test is possible via the second control valve, but the other drive member of the pair will remain active thus acting as a buffer that prevents excessive movement of the valve.
Spring return actuator
