HANGING DEVICE FOR SIDING MEMBERS

A hanging device attachable to overlapping siding members to support an object. The hanging device includes a support portion having a body defining an outer surface and an inner surface. A retaining structure is on the outer surface of the body to support the object. A support protrusion extends outwardly from the inner surface of the body to abut against one of the siding members. An attachment portion has a first end attached to the body of the support portion and extends from the body to a second end. The second end has an engagement member being insertable between the siding members at a joint formed therebetween. The attachment portion has a curved segment along at least part of a length of the attachment portion defined between the first and second ends.

The mounting bracket has a main body, a holding part configured to be housed within the elongate support channel behind inwardly facing surfaces of the opposing lips, and a leg configured to extend from the main body to the holding part between the opposing lips. The main body includes lower surfaces on either side of the leg configured to face the support portion. The system further includes a securing member that presses the holding part against the inwardly facing surfaces of the opening lips and secures the mounting bracket frictionally along the elongate extent of the panel.

A male bracket includes a first end portion of the male bracket, and, the first end portion includes a pivot opening and a latching opening. A clip includes a latch portion and a gripping portion, the gripping portion includes a barb residing in the pivot opening of the male bracket rotatably affixing the clip to the male bracket. The latch portion of the clip releasably resides in the latch opening of the male bracket. The male bracket resides in an open channel formed by first and second guides of the female connection bracket. The latch of the clip releasably interengages the catch in the body of the female connection bracket, alternately, retaining and securing, or, releasing, the male bracket with respect to the female connection bracket.

A cooking hob retention system includes a support element having a major surface and a pocket disposed therealong and defining a strip having a first opening and a second opening on vertically opposite sides thereof. The system also includes a fastening element including an engagement end and a free end resiliently compressible toward the engagement end about a central fold disposed therebetween. The engagement end is coupled with the support element by a deformable portion opposite the central fold received within the first opening and a protruding element extending toward the deformable portion and received within the second opening. The free end includes a body defining an acute angle with respect to the engagement end. A tab extends from the body generally parallel to the engagement end, and a first countering element extends from the body beyond the tab to an end thereof.

High Retention Force Fastener

A high retention force fastener for fixing at least two panels together is disclosed. The fastener includes two components. One component is a metal clip and the other is a plastic insert that can be substantially inserted into the metal clip. The metal clip comprises a body having opposed panel engagement features extending therefrom, an insertion stop plate spaced apart from the engagement features and plastic insert locking tabs extending from the stop plate. The metal clip is preferably U-shaped and comprises two sides joined by a connector. Each of the sides includes a pair of the panel engagement features. The plastic insert comprises a head and a leg for insertion into the metal clip. The leg extends from the head. The plastic insert additionally includes metal tab engagement arms extending from and integrally formed with the head for engaging the plastic insert locking tabs of the metal clip.

A grid hanger assembly for mounting a ceiling system to an overhead support structure. The grid hanger assembly may include a mounting bracket having a mounting element and being configured for attachment to the overhead support structure and a hanger member. The hanger member may include an adjustment plate and a coupling member extending from the adjustment plate. The adjustment plate may include a plurality of mounting elements arranged in an axially spaced apart manner. The hanger may be mounted to the mounting bracket in a selected mounting position of a plurality of selectable mounting positions determined by sliding the hanger member relative to the mounting bracket in a direction of the vertical axis until a selected one of the plurality of mounting elements of the hanger member is aligned with the mounting element of the mounting bracket. A fastener may lock the hanger member to the mounting bracket.

A rack for storing goods has supports which extend between crossbeams. The supports are downwardly open profiles having a first and a second side wall. A horizontal wall connects the side walls and forms a goods support. At least one crossbeam has two slots, each with a locking projection that engages in an opening in the respective side wall. The openings are located in short end portions of the side walls. Central portions form a majority length of the side walls. The end portions are separated from the central portions by a slot which extends from the lower edge of the side wall over a portion of the height of the side wall. The end portions have in the direction toward the lower edge thereof a wall extent which in comparison with the wall extent on the central portion is offset in the direction toward the profile center plane.
