Fastening clip
The present application provides a fastening clip, which comprises a fastening pin and a fastening sleeve. The fastening pin can be inserted into the fastening sleeve, the fastening sleeve comprises a base and two pairs of retaining wings, the two pairs of retaining wings respectively extend downward from a lower surface of the base, and outer sides of at least one of the two pairs of retaining wings have raised ribs extending in a circumferential direction. The fastening clip of the present application can firmly fasten at least two plates.
Connecting device and method for connecting two components
In order to provide a connecting device for connecting two components, which is simple to manufacture and enables a stable and reliable connection of the two components, it is proposed that the connecting device comprises a main body which comprises a receiving channel extending through the main body for accommodating a fixing element, wherein the receiving channel is preferably accessible at one end by way of an insertion opening of the main body and/or preferably at a (further) end by way of a fixing opening of the main body, wherein the main body preferably further comprises an actuating opening that is different from the insertion opening and/or the fixing opening, by way of which in particular the fixing element arranged in the receiving channel is preferably accessible for the actuation thereof.
Box nut retainer
A first example box nut retainer includes a support, a fastener sleeve, and a resilient arm. The fastener sleeve defines an opening and extends downwardly from the support. The resilient arm extends upwardly and outwardly relative to the fastener sleeve toward the support.
FASTENING MODULE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FASTENING MODULE, AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING TWO COMPONENTS TO A FASTENING MODULE
A fastening module, in particular for connecting two components, is provided. The module includes a housing device that defines a receiving space, a nut device that is arranged so as to be displaceable in the receiving space, and a screw device that is connected to the housing device in such a way that the fastening module is a pre-assembled module.
Connection system for connecting at least two, in particular plate-like, elements; arrangement comprising such a connection system
The invention relates to a connection system for connecting at least two plate-like elements, the connection system having a bolt, a nut that corresponds to the bolt and has a screwing channel which extends along a screwing axis and into which the bolt can be screwed, and a cage for receiving the nut, wherein the nut has a foot portion and a head portion adjoining the foot portion along the screwing axis, the foot portion projecting, at least in portions, beyond the head portion in a direction perpendicular to the screwing axis.
Connector assembly
A connector assembly may include a body including a first aperture and a second aperture; a rotating member disposed at least partially in the first aperture; and/or a mating member having a portion disposed at least partially in the second aperture. The rotating member may be configured to rotate to limit movement of the mating member.
METHOD OF JOINING COMPONENTS OF AN AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE
Two components of an aircraft structure are joined by providing a threaded opening in one of them and supporting an alignment insert in that opening. The alignment insert is used to guide drilling of the second component such that a hole is produced which is aligned with the threaded opening, for instance using an alignment projection which physically guides a drill. The alignment insert may then be removed. A fastener is then inserted through that hole and into the threaded opening, then tightened to form the completed joint.
APPARATUSES FOR MOUNTING FIXTURES TO A SUBSTRATE, AND RELATED METHODS
A method includes: mounting a rail on a wall; mounting a fixture on the rail by interlocking a channel of the fixture to the rail; removing the fixture from the rail; and mounting a replacement fixture on the rail by interlocking a channel of the replacement fixture to the rail. An apparatus has: a rail with a wall contacting base side, an exterior side, and a beam formed on the exterior side; a fixture with a base side, an exterior side, and a channel formed on the base side; and in which the channel forms a female profile that reversibly interlocks via a snap fit to a male profile formed by the beam to reversibly mount the fixture on the rail, with respective longitudinal axes of the beam and the channel extending in respective axial directions along the rail. The fixture and rail may retain a panel over the substrate.
Clip
A clip includes a grommet having a projecting portion and a plurality of leg portions extending from the projecting portion, and a shaft member including a head portion, and a shaft portion extending from the head portion, and inserted into an inside of the leg portions to laterally expand the leg portions. The clip is switchable between a lock position to expand the leg portions laterally, and an unlock position where the shaft member is further pushed to return the leg portions to an original condition. Each leg portion includes a leg-side convex portion, a convex-portion wall face, and a guide portion. The shaft portion includes a shaft-side convex portion engaging the leg-side convex portion, a concave portion provided between the shaft-side convex portion and the head portion, and engaging the leg-side convex portion to return the leg portion to the original condition, an abutment portion, and a release portion.
Grips to retain fasteners for expansion cards
An example device in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure includes a grip to secure the device to an expansion card. The grip includes an upper grip portion to receive a fastener, and a standoff formed by a lower grip portion. The standoff is to establish a standoff distance between the expansion card and the mainboard when the device is secured to the expansion card and fastened to the mainboard.
