Connector, system consisting of a connector and a latching pin of a second component, said latching pin having a head, and method for using such a system
A connector for connecting a first component to a locking pin of a second component having a head is disclosed. The connector has a base body with a receiving space for receiving the head. A retaining spring is held by the base body is provided, which has a relative position, referred to as the holding position, relative to the base body and which has a protrusion in this holding position protruding into the receiving space. The protrusion in the holding position can be moved in a release direction and projects less far into the receiving space after moving from the holding position in the release direction than in the holding position. Moving the protrusion from the holding position in the releasing direction tensions the retaining spring. When the retaining spring is in the holding position, the base body can be moved relative to the retaining spring along a locking direction.
Improvements to Electrical Apparatus
The invention relates is to apparatus and components which can be provided and used in order to improve the manufacture of electrical apparatus which includes one or more connectors for the connection of one or more cables thereto. One type of connector to which the invention is suited is known as an F type connector. The invention allows a connection to be achieved using securing means to secure the connector body to a housing wall and access to be gained to the securing means whilst allowing the securing means to be substantially masked from external view as the securing means are substantially located with a recess portion formed in the wall.
Click-on tower and l-foot mount for attaching solar panels to a roof
A click-on clamping mechanism is for attaching, without tools, a clamp+tower subassembly to a slider bar (which is attached to a roof substrate with lag screws). The clamp+tower sub-assembly can have a height-adjustable, rail-less solar panel mounting assembly attached to it for mounting one or more photovoltaic solar panels thereto. The height of the solar panel mounting assembly can be easily adjusted, either before or after mounting of the solar panels. The click-on clamp+tower sub-assembly is easily removable from the slider bar. A click-on L-foot mount for attaching solar mount rails is also described. The click-on structures can be spring-loaded.
FIXTURE
A fixture includes two mounted portions and an interposing portion. At least the one mounted portion includes a strut portion, a check portion, and an abutment portion. The strut portion is insertable into a mounting hole provided in a mounting target. The check portion is caught on the mounting target on an outlet side of the mounting hole. The abutment portion abuts on the mounting target on an inlet side of the mounting hole. When any one of the mounting target or the fixture vibrates, the check portion and the abutment portion deform to suppress a vibration in a direction parallel to an insertion direction. When any one of the mounting target or the fixture vibrates, the interposing portion deforms to suppress a vibration in a direction parallel to a plane orthogonal to the insertion direction.
FASTENER
A fastener includes a base member; a first member, on the base member and having a through bore; a second member, on the base member and spaced from the first member to form a receiving portion to receive a panel structure, including an aperture defining an internal surface, the internal surface including at least one stop member protruding radially inwardly, and a nut member, coaxially aligned within and frangibly connected to the internal surface, including at least one block member protruding radially outward from an outer surface of the nut member to stoppingly engage with the at least one stop member. During use, the nut member moves from a first position, where the nut is frangibly connected to the internal surface, to a second position, where the least one block member abuttingly engages with the at last one stop member.
Fastener and Coupling for Connecting a Circuit Board to a Mount
A coupling for connecting a circuit board to a mount with a fastener. The mount may be connected to a component. The fastener includes a first snap-fit connection formation for establishing a snap-fit connection with a second snap-fit connection formation provided on the mount. When connected, the fastener clamps the circuit board against the mount. The fastener further includes a first engagement formation configured to engage with a second engagement formation on the mount for bracing the snap-fit connection.
Mounting structure and clip
A mounting structure has: a first member in which a first through-hole is formed; a second member in which a second through-hole is formed; and a clip having a first shaft portion, a first anchor portion that is anchored on an edge portion of the first through-hole, a second shaft portion whose axial center is eccentric with respect to an axial center of the first shaft portion, and a second anchor portion that is anchored on an edge portion of the second through-hole, wherein a cross-sectional shape of a portion, which is disposed at an inner side of the first-through hole, of the first shaft portion is a polygonal shape, and a length along a longest diagonal line of the polygonal shape, or a length of a longest side of the polygonal shape, is longer than a minimum opening length of the first through-hole.
Self-retaining spacer and clip device
A spacer and clip device includes a body including a clip portion and a spacer portion separated by a channel edge defining a channel extending longitudinally through the body, the clip portion and the spacer portion connected by a joining portion. The body includes an attachment edge defining an attachment opening that extends laterally through the body, the spacer portion establishes a standoff height, and the body is compressible to adjust the standoff height.
FASTENER STRUCTURE
A fastener structure is provided, including a hollow sleeve, a rod body, and a hook assembly. The hollow sleeve is assembled on a first plate, and the rod body is inserted into the hollow sleeve. The hook assembly is rotatably assembled on the first plate, and includes a hook component and an elastic component. The hook component is adapted for being fastened to a positioning opening portion of a second plate, where a first side of the rod body is adapted to lean against the hook component. A first end of the elastic component leans against the first plate, and a second end of the elastic component is fixed on the hook component.
SNAP CLOSURE WITH ADJUSTMENT OF ITS SNAP TENSION
A snap closure with adjustment of its snap tension is described, comprising a male component (1) selectively engaged in a female component (2), such male component (1) and/or female component (2) being fastened to a respective supporting device (11, 21) designed to receive connecting means to a surface of a respective substrate, and further comprising at least one removable connecting device (3) designed to allow changing a geometric shape of at least one component of the snap closure.
