CONNECTING STRUCTURE AND COVERING DEVICE FOR OPENING OF BUILDING
A connecting structure, which is located between a first object and a second object, includes a first engaging member and a second engaging member located between the first engaging member and the first object. The first engaging member is located between the second engaging member and the second object. The second engaging member has a thickness. When a distance between the first engaging member and the first object is less than or equal to said thickness, the first engaging member and the second engaging member are not movable relative to each other. When said distance is greater than said thickness, the first engaging member and the second engaging member can be moved in a direction relative to each other, moving the first object and the second object relative to each other as well. A covering device for an opening of a building is also disclosed, which includes said connecting structure.
A PLAYGROUND
The invention relates to a playground comprising a number of pillars of a circular cross sectional area, and a series of playground elements including floor panels and side panels, and a series of brackets for attachment of the playground elements to the pillars. The brackets comprise an element coupling portion adapted to be fastened to a playground element and a pillar coupling portion adapted to be fastened to a side portion of a pillar. Here, the pillar coupling portion comprising a contact face curved to lie against pillar and a boring for receiving a fastening member which is oriented such that the bracket when fastened to the pillar is attached by the fastening member inserted from the bracket and into the pillar in a radial direction of the pillar. The series of brackets comprises brackets with element coupling portions adapted to be fastened to each of the playground elements in the series of playground elements, and all the brackets in the series comprise essentially identical pillar coupling portions such that all the brackets are adapted to be attached to the pillars in the same way. The invention also relates to a method of assembling such a playground. The series of playground elements may include floor panels, side panels, a series of bars of predefined diameters and chains.
PROFILE CONNECTOR AND PROFILE ASSEMBLY
Profile connector for connecting a first and a second profile bar (3, 4), made from a light metal alloy, with a body (5) which can be accommodated in an undercut elongated groove (34) in the second profile bar (4) and has at least one bracing leg (7) for bracing against an undercut (9, 10) of the undercut elongated groove (34) of the second profile bar (4), and an anchor bolt (13) which is accommodated in a through opening (12) that is created in the body (5) and extends at right angles to a longitudinal extension of the body (5), which anchor bolt has an anchor bolt head and fixes the profile connector (1) frontally, on the first profile bar (3), and with a first clamping screw (22) accommodated in an internal threaded opening (20) provided inside the body (5) and extending at an angle to a longitudinal centre line (L.sub.A) of the through opening (12), which clamping screw serves to displace the body (5) along the anchor bolt (13) away from the anchor bolt head (19) towards the first profile bar (3) by tightening the first clamping screw (22) in the internal thread of the first internal threaded opening (20), thereby bracing the first clamping screw (22) on the anchor bolt (13), wherein a forming geometry (29) is conformed and arranged on the body (5) for shaping frontally into the first profile bar (3) by tightening the first clamping screw (22) to create a positive locking connection between the body (5) and the first profile bar (3).
A BLIND MECHANICAL FASTENING SYSTEM FOR CONNECTING MEMBERS TO ONE ANOTHER
According to the present invention, a blind fastening system for connecting members to one another comprises two parts; a structure containing a conical nut, matched to a threaded rod engaged to a lineal guide and a driven gear meshed to a driving gear having a tooling interface as the first part and; a separate structure containing anchor plates with springs and spring supports to act on and retain the conical nut of the first part. The blind fastening system also has a friction collar, a drive shaft, a retractable mechanism, a funnel tool guide, dowels and aligning & restricting guides.
Tension mount improvements
The present disclosure relates to a tension or hanging mount for engineering services, including but not limited to components of heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems. In one aspect, the tension mount comprises at least a base portion and a mount portion which depends from the base portion by hanging, wherein each of the base portion and the mount portion comprise a substantially rigid, non-flammable structural support element, and wherein at least one of these substantially rigid, non-flammable structural support elements is at least partially covered in a cushioning material in regions at or near to where the base portion and the mount portion are in contact with each other, and wherein in use, the mount portion is not dropped by the base portion even if the cushioning materials are consumed by a fire.
