ROBOTIC SYSTEM WITH RECONFIGURABLE END-EFFECTOR ASSEMBLY
An end-effector assembly includes a master boom, a frame rail coupled thereto, and at least one branch rail movably coupled to the frame rail by a swing branch lock. The swing arm is movably coupled to the at least one branch rail by a swing arm lock. Each of the swing branch lock and the swing arm lock further includes a clamp configured to movably secure the branch rail to the frame rail or the swing arm to the branch rail. A pivot shaft extends through the clamp and is configured to rotationally secure the clamp in place. A swing plate is secured to the pivot shaft and is configured for engagement with a configuration tool. A locking fastener extends through the swing plate and into the pivot shaft and is configured to lock and unlock the clamp in position.
Ultrasonic bat deterrent system
A bat deterrent system to deter bats from approaching wind turbines may include a first deterrent box having a first and second transducer bank. The first transducer bank may include a first set of transducers located on a first plane and a second set of transducers located on a second plane. The second plane may be different from the first plane. The bat deterrent system may also include a second deterrent box having a third and fourth transducer bank. The third transducer bank may include a third set of transducers located on a third plane and a fourth set of transducers located on a fourth plane. The fourth plane may be different from the third plane. At least one transducer may simultaneously emit a different ultrasonic output waveform than the ultrasonic output waveform emitted from another transducer.
FRICTION CLAMP FOR TUBULAR STRUCTURES FEATURING LATERAL CONNECTORS
The friction clamp includes a cylindrical body of elongate form between ends and with a slot into which a tubular item is snapped. Lateral connectors such as a receiver with a cylindrical recess therein receive an end of a tubular member, such as a member similar to that which snaps into the slot. As an alternative to the receiver, a tab is provided extending from the clamp laterally. The tab includes a hole through which hardware is placed, and an item having a similar tab is placed adjacent to the tab extending from the clamp and the hardware tightened for fixation at a desired rotational orientation. As another alternative to the receiver, a small friction clamp connector is provided on an exterior of the friction clamp. A small rod (or other item) snaps into the small clamp. The small clamp and rod can be provided separate from the friction clamp.
TRAMPOLINE
A trampoline has a side frame supported by support legs, multiple fiberglass guardrail poles joined to the side frame or the support legs, and a guardrail netting held open by the guardrail poles. Each guardrail pole includes two fiberglass rods joined together by a connector that includes two nested securing tubes, where two respective ends of the two fiberglass rods are inserted in the internal securing tube. The external securing tube is secured outside of the internal securing tube. The guardrail netting has multiple securing fabric sleeves stitched to its top end. Each sleeve has a first part with a sealed top and a width matching that of a wider top section of the fiberglass guardrail pole, and a second part connected to the first part with a width matching that of the fiberglass guardrail pole, where the second part has a gap in the middle.
ARM FOR UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE
Arms and an associated unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) are disclosed, which include a connecting component, a frame and arms. Each arm includes a longitudinal tube having an inverted teardrop shape-cross section with a hollow interior. The upper end of the longitudinal tube is a first curved surface. The lower end of the longitudinal tube is a second curved surface. The arc length of the first curved surface is greater than the arc length of the second curved surface. The connecting component connects the arm to the frame, and comprises an installing component and a mounting component. The installing component and the mounting component are mounted on two respective ends of the arm. The frame of UAV and the driving assembly are connected through the arm. Compared to circular shape, the raindrop/half lemniscate shape is more streamlined than those having a circular cross-sectional shape, resulting in substantially improved air fluidities.
Clamp for coupling props to beams, prop comprising same and assembly method
An elastic clamp is for coupling props to beams. The clamp includes a minimum of two elastic wings able to hold and exert pressure on opposite lateral faces of the beam to be supported by the prop. The clamp allows the prop to be retained in a place selected along the beam to be supported, and prevents the prop from falling and rotating sideways.
Friction clamp for tubular structures featuring lateral connectors
The friction clamp has a basic configuration including a cylindrical body of elongate form between ends and with a slot into which a tubular item can be snapped. Lateral connectors and such as a receiver with a cylindrical recess therein can receive an end of a tubular member, such as a member similar to that which snaps into the slot. A plug with associated hook can be fitted into this recess of the receiver to allow for items to be suspended from the hook. As an alternative to the receiver, a tab can be provided extending from the clamp laterally. The tab includes a hole through which hardware can be placed, and an item having a similar tab can be placed adjacent to the tab extending from the clamp and the hardware tightened to fix the item to the clamp through the pair of tabs at a desired rotational orientation.
WALL CHANNEL FOR GRID TEE
An elongated sheet metal channel for transversely supporting drywall grid tees at regular intervals along the channel, the channel having a generally vertical web, and a lower flange and an upper flange, a vertical spacing between the flanges being sufficient to receive upright grid tees at the intervals, the lower flange having outer and mid-width portions lying in a generally horizontal plane at an interval when a tee is received therein, opposed formations stamped into one of the flanges at the intervals to longitudinally locate the grid tee, the upper flange at said intervals having a pocket for receiving a distorted end of a grid tee.
Back deck automation
Systems and methods of deploying seismic data acquisition units from a marine vessel are disclosed. The system can include a spindle coupled to a tether. A robotic arm can couple the spindle to a tether via one or more tumblers. The tether can connect to a seismic data acquisition unit via a connection block having a mechanical force device. The assembled spindle, tether and seismic data acquisition unit can be deployed from the deck via a deployment block.
RODENT BARRIER COMPONENTS
A component many of which to be joined together to form a rodent barrier consists of a protruding rod and two protruding rods and two holes for linking the component with other components which have the same or similar dimensions and constructions of the component to be joined; the protruding rod is generally perpendicular to the two protruding rods and the two holes for linking the component with other components; two variations of the components presented.
