Beam flange clamp, structural beam joint with beam flange clamps and method for forming a structural beam joint

A beam flange clamp includes a clamp body having a first vise jaw portion with a first gripping surface and a second vise jaw portion with a second gripping surface. The first gripping surface and the second gripping surface are oriented parallel to each other, are facing the same direction and are offset in height by a predetermined clamping distance. The at least one bolting hole is formed through the first vise jaw portion perpendicularly to the first gripping surface.

CEILING SYSTEM

A grid hanger assembly for mounting a ceiling system to an overhead support structure. The grid hanger assembly may include a mounting bracket having a mounting element and being configured for attachment to the overhead support structure and a hanger member. The hanger member may include an adjustment plate and a coupling member extending from the adjustment plate. The adjustment plate may include a plurality of mounting elements arranged in an axially spaced apart manner. The hanger may be mounted to the mounting bracket in a selected mounting position of a plurality of selectable mounting positions determined by sliding the hanger member relative to the mounting bracket in a direction of the vertical axis until a selected one of the plurality of mounting elements of the hanger member is aligned with the mounting element of the mounting bracket. A fastener may lock the hanger member to the mounting bracket.

Universal wedge clamp
09835188 · 2017-12-05 · ·

A clamp and universal wedge clamp system is provided. The system includes a rigid clamp that is formed to define first and second arms that extend from opposite ends of a central member. The first and second arms each comprise a finger that extends inwardly toward the finger extending inwardly from the opposite arm, and at least one of the first and second arms comprising a slot defined through the arm along a portion of a length of the arm. A wedge extends through the slot, wherein the clamp and the wedge are collectively configured to removably retain a beam upon either one of a substantially cylindrical shoring post, or a substantially rectangular shoring post.

BRACKET FOR CLAMPING A PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE TO A TORQUE TUBE
20170346437 · 2017-11-30 · ·

A bracket for clamping a photovoltaic module to a torque tube includes a planar base having a pair of aligned holes, a pair of bolts each extending through one of the pair of holes, and a plurality of securing tabs. Each of the securing tabs can be formed by bending a corner portion of the planar base downwardly to a desired angle. The pair of bolts extend to a sufficient length so as to permit a threaded portion of each bolt to be threaded into a complementary threaded hole of the photovoltaic module assembly (e.g., a rail supporting the photovoltaic module). The supporting tabs are structured and arranged to grip lateral sides of the torque tube. Advantageously, the dimensions allow the clamp to stay on the torque tube through a friction fit for ease of installation prior to threading the hardware into the photovoltaic module assembly.

BRACE PIPE ATTACHMENT MECHANISM

A brace pipe attachment mechanism includes an attachment device defining an attachment device body, the attachment device body comprising: an inner surface defining a brace pipe channel, the inner surface defining a gripping edge at least partially encircling the brace pipe channel; and a base portion, wherein a base fastener hole extends through the base portion to the brace pipe channel; and a fastener extending through the base fastener hole and into the brace pipe channel.

Inverted bridging connector

A connection between a wall stud, channel-shaped bridging member and connector that resists torsional forces, the connector being suited to interlock with the interior of the bridging member channel and to be fastened to the bridging member outside the channel, depending on the orientation of the bridging member.

Spring Clamp for Construction of Plant Cages and Trellises
20170261019 · 2017-09-14 ·

A thin, flat, generally rectangular form, constructed of resilient material forming a spring plate clamping device for the removable attachment of horizontal plant support rods onto upright stakes, thereby facilitating the construction of plant cages to support and protect vegetation.

SLIDING TRACK CONNECTOR
20210388938 · 2021-12-16 ·

A sliding track connector for mounting objects to a track member using a twist tie or zip ties. The connector includes a rigid body with a plurality of transversely aligned holes configured to receive a twist tie. The connector body includes a bottom surface, outer sidewalls, and a center void. At least two pairs of holes extend transversely through the sidewalls of the body. In one embodiment, formed or attached to the bottom surface of the body is a post configured to slide freely inside the slot. Attached to the post is a wide cap configured to press against the inside surfaces of the flanges formed on opposite sides of the track member's slot. In one embodiment, the post and cap are integrally formed on the body. When the body is rotated, the post rotates inside the channel and the cap becomes wedged. against the flanges on opposite sides of the slot. On or two twist ties are inserted through the holes on opposite sides of the connector body during use to hold an object on the track member.
