A barrel for a barrel joint for parts of furniture and furnishing items includes a hollow cylindrical body containing a blocking element and having at least one hole on one of its side surfaces for the passage of a tip of a tool that actuates the blocking element, the hollow cylindrical body also having at least another hole for receiving a pin of the barrel joint.
Panel fastening system
A fastening system for joining a first composite sandwich panel and a second composite sandwich panel comprising a cam assembly and a stud receiving assembly. The cam assembly is configured to be positioned within a first hole extending through a thickness of a first composite sandwich panel. The cam assembly comprises a housing and a cam connector rotatable within the housing. The cam connector is configured to engage a head of a stud. The stud receiving assembly is configured to be positioned within a second hole extending through a thickness of a second composite sandwich panel. The stud receiving assembly has internal retaining channels configured to secure a first end of the stud.
CONNECTING DEVICE
A connecting device having a hollow-body-like plug-in part which is of variable outer circumference and which interacts with a fixing device which is at least partially insertable into the plug-in part, wherein the fixing device is connectable to an actuation section which projects out of the plug-in part. Here, the plug-in part, with the fixing device inserted therein and with the actuation section connected thereto, has the minimum external shape thereof in terms of the dimensions thereof when the actuation section is in a rest position. The actuation section is moved by means of axial or radial movement relative to the plug-in part into a working position in which the plug-in part has the maximum external shape thereof in terms of the dimensions thereof, wherein the plug-in part has a closed shape on its side situated opposite the insertion side of the fixing device.
Actuation and blocking system of a joint between a shoulder and a shelf of furniture or other furnishing items
An actuation and blocking system of a joint for use in a piece of furniture or other furnishing item for perpendicularly interconnecting a shoulder with a shelf, base or top includes a pin with a fixing element to the shoulder and the shelf, base or top and adapted to be at least partially inserted in a hole of the shoulder and of the shelf, base or top. The pin has a side hole for receiving a shaped stem, which extends from an actuation and blocking group of the joint positioned on the shelf, base or top parallel to the floor or the ceiling, which are close to the furniture or other furnishing item when assembled, the actuation and blocking group providing for a 90? transmission between a maneuvering point, accessible from the front or side of the furniture, and the shaped stem, inserted in the side hole of the pin.
Display positioning apparatus and method
An apparatus can be configured to position an electronic display. The apparatus can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases, the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including, for example, a sitting position and a standing position. Methods for positioning an electronic display and a keyboard are also included.
ADAPTABLE BED SYSTEM
An adaptable bed system with improved connection mechanisms comprising a bed frame, legs and connection members, wherein the connection members further comprise Allen bolts, dowels, pins and nuts, and can be assembled and tightened using standard tools, such as Allen keys, thus decreasing cost and time required for assembly of the bed system.
DISPLAY POSITIONING APPARATUS AND METHOD
Embodiments of the invention include an apparatus for positioning an electronic display. The apparatus can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including for example, a sitting position and a standing position. Methods for positioning an electronic display and a keyboard are also included.
Shelf fitting for a furniture assembley
A fitting for connecting two parts includes a first and second fitting part. The first fitting part has a first installation body, with a slider, movably guided against a restoring force from a front starting position. At least one front slider end has an undercut protruding out of the first installation body toward the front. The second fitting part has a second installation body for mounting on a second part to be connected. The second installation body has a keyhole with an insertion opening for inserting the front slider end and with a slotted opening, which adjoins the insertion opening and which is constricted in comparison with the insertion opening, for engaging behind the undercut of the front slider end. The slider has a gear rack and a gear rotatably mounted in the first installation body and meshes with the gear rack and can be manually rotated.
FURNITURE AND TOY ASSEMBLY FOR CHILDREN
A convertible furniture and toy assembly for children, which has a symmetrical base unit and replaceable module elements that can be attached thereto. The base unit contains two side units arranged at an equal distance from its plane of symmetry and at least two connecting elements connecting the two side units. The convertible furniture and toy assembly for children is provided with a stabilizing system in which the side unit of the base unit contains a first side element, a second side element, and an intermediate side element connecting them. The first side element is arranged at a predetermined distance X and the second side element is arranged at a predetermined distance X+Y+V from the plane of symmetry. The stabilizing system preferably also contains at least one connecting member and module elements that can be installed symmetrically on the base unit.
