EXPANSION ANCHOR WITH A NONAXISYMMETRIC RECESS
An expansion anchor having an anchor bolt, an expansion sleeve surrounding the anchor bolt, and an expansion body located in a front region of the anchor bolt, wherein the expansion body has a converging zone for expanding the expansion sleeve, and wherein the expansion body is provided with at least one expansion body recess. The at least one expansion body recess is delimited by an expansion sleeve abutment wall, and the at least one expansion body recess has a nonaxisymmetric cross-section.
SAFETY FENCE ASSEMBLY
A modular safety fence assembly is disclosed. The safety fence may include a fence panel assembly having a top rail, a bottom rail, and mesh panel. The safety fence panel assembly may also support post assembly capable of supporting the fence panel assembly and an anchor assembly which may anchor the support post assembly to the floor using one or more relatively shallow holes formed in the floor.
Expansion anchor and method for disassembling an expansion anchor
A disassembly method for an anchor that is anchored in a hole and that has an anchor bolt is provided, whereby, during the disassembly procedure, a torque is applied to the bolt of the anchor that is anchored in the hole and, in this process, the anchor bolt is stressed until it breaks. An anchor which has a head and whose bolt has an engaging profile so that a torque can be applied to the anchor bolt is also provided.
Method for manufacturing an expansion anchor by reducing the diameter of a sleeve blank, and expansion anchor
A method for manufacturing an expansion anchor is provided, in which a bolt is provided, which includes an expansion body for expanding an expansion sleeve surrounding the bolt, an annular sleeve blank having an opening is provided, the bolt is introduced into the opening of the annular sleeve blank, and the annular sleeve blank is reduced in diameter while the bolt is located in the opening of the annular sleeve blank. The invention also relates to expansion anchors, which may be obtained with the aid of the method according to the invention, in particular bolt-type anchors having closed annular expansion sleeves and, in particular, anchors having expansion sleeves with protruding noses, which are each situated on a closing fold of the expansion sleeve.
GRAB PLATE ASSEMBLY
A grab plate assembly for retaining an inner cylindrical tube in a fixed telescopic position relative to an outer cylindrical tube in a telescoping post. The assembly comprises a grab plate having a polygonal tube receiving opening therein, a lever arm integral with and angled relative to the grab plate, and an actuating rod. Turning the actuating rod in a first direction lifts the lever arm causing multiple side edges of the tube receiving opening to compressively engage multiple points on the inner cylindrical tube thereby resisting telescopic movement of the inner cylindrical tube relative to the outer cylindrical tube. Turning the actuating rod in a second opposite direction lowers the lever arm causing the side edges of the tube receiving opening to disengage from the inner cylindrical tube and to permit telescopic movement of the inner cylindrical tube relative to the outer cylindrical tube.
Expansion dowel having a zinc alloy coating
An expansion dowel is provided, which includes at least one dowel body and a bolt, the bolt including an expansion body, which forces the dowel body radially to the outside when the expansion body is displaced in an extraction direction relative to the dowel body, a corrosion protection layer and an antifriction layer covering the corrosion protection layer being provided on the expansion body. It is also provided that the corrosion protection layer is a Zn/Ni coating or a Zn/Fe coating. A manufacturing method for an expansion dowel of this type is also provided.
Expansion Anchor With Protected Optical Code
An expansion anchor includes an anchor bolt with a rear face, a displaceable body located adjacent to the anchor bolt, and at least one wedge body located in a front region of the anchor bolt. The wedge body has a converging zone for displacing the displaceable body. An optically readable code is located at the rear face of the anchor bolt. At least one code protection protrusion projects from the anchor bolt rearwardly beyond the optically readable code.
ADAPTED GROUT DELIVERY SLEEVE
A rock anchor assembly includes: a tubular sleeve between first and second ends, having an anchor retaining portion opening on the second end; a rock anchor with an elongate body extending between distal and proximal ends, received in the tubular sleeve with the proximal and distal ends of the body projecting from the first and second ends respectively of the sleeve; a tensioning and locking assemblage on the anchor body between the proximal end and the first end of the sleeve, a forward part being engageable with the first end of the sleeve; and a mechanical anchor engaged to the anchor body at the distal end which, from an unexpanded configuration, expands radially to an expanded configuration. The anchor retaining portion at least partially retains the mechanical anchor in the unexpanded configuration. The anchor retaining portion expands circumferentially to accommodate retracted ingress of the anchor in the expanded configuration.
EXPANSION ANCHOR AND METHOD OF MAKING AN EXPANSION ANCHOR
A method of making an expansion anchor comprising the steps of: providing a metal rod having a thread along at least part of its outer surface; adapting the metal rod to obtain a required length of metal rod; welding an expansion section to an end of the obtained length of metal rod; and providing an expansion sleeve which in use interacts with the expansion section for increasing the expansion sleeve diameter. An expansion anchor comprising a threaded rod part, an expansion section welded to an end of the rod part and an expansion sleeve which in use interacts with the expansion section for increasing the diameter of the expansion sleeve.
