Anti-rotational circlip
In one aspect, a circlip includes a circlip body defining (i) a first end surface, (ii) a second end surface spaced circumferentially from the first end surface so as to define a gap between the first and second end surfaces, and (iii) an outer curved surface defining an outer perimeter of the circlip body. The outer curved surface extends from the first end surface to the second end surface. Further, the circlip includes at least one row of teeth defined at the outer curved surface, and extending from at least one of the first and second end surfaces circumferentially along a direction away from the gap. When installed in a circlip groove, the teeth engage the circlip groove to limit rotation of the circlip within the groove.
ANTI-ROTATION DEVICE AND ASSEMBLY
A assembly comprises: a first member, a second member and an anti-rotation device. The first member is provided with a bore and a groove on a surface of the bore. At least a portion of the second member is disposed within the bore in the first member and a recess is provided on a generally axially facing surface of the portion of the second member. The anti-rotation device comprises an arcuate resilient body comprising a radially inner portion and a radially outer portion, the radially outer portion being received within the groove, the radially inner portion abutting a surface of the portion of the second member. A first anti-rotation feature is provided on the radially outer portion for cooperation with a complimentary feature of the first member. A second anti-rotation feature is provided on the radially inner portion, extending away from the radially inner portion of the body in a generally axial direction and is received within the recess on the second member.
RETENTION WASHERS, PROPELLER RETENTION SYSTEMS, AND RELATED METHODS
Retention washers include a washer body having a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The washer body has a perimeter having one or more lobes, and the retention washer further includes a multi-point star-shaped hole extending through the washer body from the first side to the second side. The retention washer is configured to maintain an installation torque of an installed nut when the retention washer is positioned such that the hole circumscribes the nut. Systems for retaining a propeller assembly on a shaft may include a nut installed on a bolt, and a retention washer positioned such that the hole of the retention washer circumscribes the nut, thereby limiting rotation of the nut with respect to the bolt and retaining the nut on the bolt. The system may include a circular array of nuts and bolts, each nut having a respective retention washer positioned thereon.
Mounting structure and clip
A mounting structure has: a first member in which a first through-hole is formed; a second member in which a second through-hole is formed; and a clip having a first shaft portion, a first anchor portion that is anchored on an edge portion of the first through-hole, a second shaft portion whose axial center is eccentric with respect to an axial center of the first shaft portion, and a second anchor portion that is anchored on an edge portion of the second through-hole, wherein a cross-sectional shape of a portion, which is disposed at an inner side of the first-through hole, of the first shaft portion is a polygonal shape, and a length along a longest diagonal line of the polygonal shape, or a length of a longest side of the polygonal shape, is longer than a minimum opening length of the first through-hole.
Spring-loaded locking bolt
A spring-loaded locking bolt with a guide sleeve and an adjusting pin movably mounted axially in the guide sleeve. The adjusting pin can be brought into a locked position protruding axially out of the guide sleeve against the actuating force of an axial compression spring and a retracted neutral position which does not protrude axially from the guide sleeve. The adjusting pin has a locking end and an actuating end in conjunction with an actuator knob. The actuator knob has an outer sleeve with which the actuator knob is movably mounted axially on a sleeve section of the guide sleeve. The actuator knob includes an inner locking projection which in the locked position lockingly engages into a corresponding recess in the side wall of the sleeve section, and fixes the actuator knob, which is engaged under spring tension, against an axial rotation about the center axis of the locking bolt, and in the neutral position the actuator knob is rotatable about the center axis.
Retaining Ring
A retaining ring having a base body which is circular except for an opening interrupting it, the opening interrupting the ring shape being bounded on a first side by an end face of a first end of the base body and on a second side, opposite the first side, by an end face of a second end of the base body, and a mounting hole being provided in the first end and a mounting hole being provided in the second end, at least one closed pocket being provided in the base body.
Quick-Connect Mounting System For Surgical Components
A mounting system for mounting two components together includes a first mounting portion having a first body. A lip and a push pin that is spaced from the lip extend from the first body. The mounting system includes a second mounting portion for coupling to the first mounting portion. The second mounting portion has a second body defining a bore. Retainers are moveable within openings of the second body. A loading assembly is disposed in the bore of the second body. The loading assembly is moveable to a first state. In the first state, the loading assembly moves the retainers to a coupling position where each retainer extends through one opening beyond an outer surface of the second body. In the coupling position, each retainer abuts the lip of the first mounting portion to secure the mounting portions together.
Press-in retainer ring
A seal assembly has a first component retained by a retaining member abutting a second component, the first component having a retaining member, the retaining member having a plurality of tabs, the plurality of tabs extending outwardly to engage a surface of the second component, thereby preventing withdrawal of the first component from the second component.
GENERATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY
A generator shaft assembly including a primary shaft, a disconnect shaft housed within the primary shaft, where a first end of the disconnect shaft is configured to couple with the primary mover and a second end of the disconnect shaft is configured to mate with the generator. A retainer ring housed within the primary shaft having at least a landing and a groove on an inner surface thereof and a retainer member positioned between the landing of the retainer ring and an outer surface of the disconnect shaft configured to limit axial motion of the disconnect shaft relative to the primary shaft.
