Method for attaching mounted parts to concrete or masonry
A method is defined for attaching mounted parts on a mounting substrate formed of concrete or masonry, having a group of anchors wherein the following is true for the ratio VSd/NSd of the rated value for the transverse load VSd and of the rated value of the tensile load NSd of at least one anchor in the anchor group: VSd/NSd≥0.3, preferably VSd/NSd≥0.6 and particularly preferably VSd/NSd≥1.0, and wherein the characteristic resistances of these anchors to transverse loading VRk or to tensile loading NRk satisfy the following relationship: VRk/NRk≤1.1. The at least one anchor of the anchor group is inclined at an angle αAnker to the perpendicular to the surface of the mounting substrate in such a manner that the following is true: αAnker=k*¾*arc tan (VSd/NSd) for NSd>0, and αAnker=k*67.5° for NSd=0, where: 0.8≤k≤1.34, providing that αAnker≤75°.
SECURING ASSEMBLY
A securing assembly (10) for use in suspending an article, the securing assembly comprising an insertion arrangement (14) for insertion into the article, and an attaching arrangement (12) for attaching the insertion arrangement to a connector (104). The connector is configured to connect the securing assembly (10) to an elongate suspending member (100). Each of the insertion arrangement (14) and the attaching arrangement (12) define a respective through passage (46, 48) to allow the suspending member (100) to be inserted through the securing assembly (10).
SYSTEM FOR JOINING OR REINFORCING COMPONENTS
The invention relates to a system for joining two components or for reinforcing a component, comprising a first and a second threaded sleeve which each comprise the following: an outer thread, with the aid of which the threaded sleeve can be screwed into the respective component and which is suitable to form a composite with the respective component, and a power drive, by which a torque for screwing the threaded sleeve into the respective component can be transmitted to the threaded sleeve. The system further comprises an elongate clamping element which is suitable to be guided through the second threaded sleeve and introduced into or guided through the first threaded sleeve, and which is suitable to axially clamp the first and the second threaded sleeve in such a manner that the first and the second threaded sleeve form opposed composite stresses in the respective component.
METHOD FOR ATTACHING MOUNTED PARTS TO CONCRETE OR MASONRY
A method is defined for attaching mounted parts on a mounting substrate, formed of concrete or masonry, having a group of anchors, wherein the following is true for the ratio VSd/NSd of the rated value for the transverse load VSd and of the rated value of the tensile load NSd of at least one anchor in the anchor group: VSd/NSd≥0.3, preferably VSd/NSd≥0.6 and particularly preferably VSd/NSd≥1.0, and wherein the characteristic resistances of these anchors to transverse loading VRk or to tensile loading NRk satisfy the following relationship: VRk/NRk≤1.1. The at least one anchor of the anchor group is inclined at an angle αAnker to the perpendicular to the surface of the mounting substrate in such a manner that the following is true: αAnker=k*¾*arctan (VSd/NSd) for NSd>0, and αAnker=k*67.5° for NSd=0, where: 0.8≤k≤1.34, providing that αAnker≤75°.
Self-tapping compression limiter
A self-tapping compression limiter for a structure of an automotive vehicle. The limiter includes a body having a first end extending to a second end. The body has a bore formed through the first and second ends defining a longitudinal axis. The body has an outer wall having a shoulder radially extending from the outer wall and formed adjacent one of the first and second ends to reduce tolerance to the structure. The outer wall has a threaded portion formed about the longitudinal axis. The threaded portion is matingly cooperable with the structure to provide a positive lock interface between the limiter and the structure.
Nut and tool
A nut, including a first female thread for threading a bolt thereinto, a head surrounding the first female thread, for holding the first female thread, for allowing rotating the bolt in relation to the first female thread; and a first male thread, for threading the nut through a plate.
COMBINED ANCHOR AND FASTENER ASSEMBLY
A combined anchor and fastener assembly for anchoring an object to a support structure includes an anchor baseplate having a top surface and a bottom surface, an elongated post having an upper end and lower end, with the upper end thereof coupled to the baseplate so it depends from the bottom surface thereof. An at least partially threaded blind bore extends from the top surface of the baseplate into the post, and has an open top end in the top surface of the baseplate and a closed bottom end in the post. The bottom surface of the anchor baseplate is configured to allow at least a portion of the support structure to abut and lie generally flush thereagainst except for the area of the bottom surface which is covered by post.
Self-Drilling Wall Plug
The invention relates to a self-drilling wall plug (1) for screwing into lightweight building materials, in particular into plaster walls, having a sleeve-shaped plug body (4) surrounded by a cutting thread (2), a flange (6) on the rear side, at least one cutting tooth (18, 20) like a milling tool in the region of its front end (10) comprising a tip (12), an inner profile formed along an inner wall (30) by a plurality of longitudinal ribs (32), into which the thread of a fixing element cuts, and in its flange (6) a recess (28) for engaging a driving tool, wherein a cup (38) for receiving the front end (10) of a fixing element penetrating the wall plug (1) is provided in the region of the tip (12).
Reverse-thread insert anchor for masonry applications
A fastener anchoring system is disclosed. The fastener anchoring system provides for an anchor with first-direction external threading, while a bore through the anchor provides second-direction internal threading. Thus, the anchor is screwed/secured to a substrate in the first direction and unscrewed in the second direction, while the fastener being anchored in the bore is screwed/secured in the second direction and unscrewed in the first direction. As a result, unscrewing the fastener does not urge the unscrewing of the anchor from the substrate.
MANIFOLD WITH REPAIRABLE THREAD INSERT ASSEMBLIES WITHIN MANIFOLD BOREHOLES
A manifold having a borehole; and a repairable thread insert assembly, including: a shaft inserted in the borehole, the shaft defining: first and second end surfaces spaced apart from each other, wherein the shaft is shorter than the borehole; a threaded through hole extending between the end surfaces; and an outer surface extending between the end surfaces and defining an outer boundary shape that is complementary to the shape of the borehole; an elastic ring; an assembly fastener having a head that compresses the elastic ring between the head of the assembly fastener and the first end surface of the shaft such that the outer surface of the ring is pressed against the borehole, whereby the shaft is locked within the borehole.
