Lever
A lever, or a lever assembly comprising a lever, for actuating a release mechanism of a vehicle, the lever being arranged for translating input force applied to an input of the lever into output force exerted at an output of the lever. The input comprises an input formation for engaging a lever extension for enhancing a mechanical advantage of the lever, and the output comprises an output formation co-operable with a release element of a release mechanism.
Transmission cable locking device for vehicles
A transmission cable locking device for vehicles may include a plurality of opposing locking clips rotating with respect to each other wherein the rotation determines a grip or release state of a transmission cable; a locking band provided between the locking clips and providing interconnecting tension between the locking clips; and a housing accommodating the locking clips and the locking band, and in which a hinge shaft is formed wherein the locking clips are coupled to the internal surface to rotate.
Method for installation of a bushing into the shift cable end of an automatic transmission without the use of a compression tool
Installation of a bushing into the shift cable end of an automatic transmission, without replacing the entire shift cable end, is accomplished via a method that does not require the use of compression tools and maintains the axial alignment of the bushing with the shift cable end during installation, thus preventing deformation of the shift cable end and bushing during installation, and ensuring the proper coupling of the shift cable end and shift lever. In one particular embodiment of the invention, the bushing may be installed by radially compressing the leading shoulder of the bushing and passing the bushing through the shift cable end, then releasing the leading shoulder of the bushing so that it engages the shift cable end and secures the bushing in place. This can be accomplished by pressing a bushing into the cavity of a tool having a cylindrical member with a first side and a second side, a cavity within the first side of the cylindrical member, and an elongated member extending perpendicularly from the second side of the cylindrical member, inserting said tool into one end of the shift cable end and passing the leading shoulder of the bushing beyond and through the shift cable end, thereby releasing the leading shoulder of the bushing to expand and secure the bushing.
FLEXIBLE SHAFT WITH A CATCH AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FLEXIBLE SHAFT WITH A CATCH
The invention relates to a flexible shaft (1) with a spiral coil (3) arranged on a core (2) of the cable (1) and with a catch (4) arranged at one of the cable ends for transmitting a force, for example to sliding roofs or cargo hold covers of motor vehicles. In order to further simplify the production of the flexible shaft (1), the invention proposes providing a bore (5) in the catch (4), with an inner section (7), in particular an internal screw thread, corresponding to the spiral coil (3).
Bowden cable
The invention relates to a Bowden cable, particularly for a motor vehicle lock with a locking mechanism, comprising a rotary latch and at least one pawl for locking said rotary latch in a main latching position and a pre-latching position, preferably with a closing aid for moving said rotary latch from the pre-latching position into the main latching position. The Bowden cable comprises a securing device designed such that said Bowden cable can be adjusted and fixed in place by means of a translational movement, or that this adjustment can be fixed by deformation of at least one deformation tab. This allows said Bowden cable to be mounted in a particularly simple manner.
Fitting member and replacement unit for long member
The present invention relates to a fitting member (1) including an insertion portion (11) that fits a long member (Ia) therein and has a space through which the long member (Ia) is insertable, a movement restriction portion (14) that restricts movement that the long member (Ia) comes out of the insertion portion (11), the movement restriction portion (14) being capable of being scraped with a tool, and a guide portion (16) that guides the tool to the movement restriction portion (14) when the movement restriction portion (14) is scraped with the tool, the fitting member (1) including the movement restriction portion (14) that can be scraped with the tool to release the restriction of the movement that the long member (Ia) comes out of the insertion portion (11).
COUPLING STRUCTURE
The present invention aims to provide a coupling structure which facilitates work of coupling an end portion of a cable to an object to be coupled. The present invention relates to a coupling structure that couples one end of a first cable and another member. The coupling structure includes a coupling portion that couples the one end of the first cable and the other member, and a protection member that slidably houses the coupling portion. The protection member has a first opening portion which is provided at one end portion of the protection member and through which the first cable is inserted such that the first cable and the protection member are relatively movable, and a second opening portion provided at the other end portion of the protection member and from which the first cable is extendable. The coupling portion has an inclined surface that is inclined from the other member side toward the first cable side so as to abut on the second opening portion and guide the coupling portion inside the protection member in a state where the coupling portion is positioned on a radially outer side of the second opening portion when the coupling portion is relatively moved with respect to and housed into the protection member. Thus, the present invention has good coupling workability.
END CAP DEVICE FOR BICYCLE CABLES
An end cap device for bicycle cables is provided, including at least two tubular sleeves, each of the at least of two tubular sleeves having an opening configured to be sleeved on one of the bicycle cables, every two adjacent tubular sleeves connected by a connection section.
TELESCOPIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY AND LIFTING COLUMN USING SAME
A telescopic transmission assembly includes first and second stage rods, and first and second stage casings. The second stage rod is of a hollow structure having inner and outer surfaces and a through hole, the outer surface being provided with external threads, and the inner surface being devoid of threads. The first stage rod is disposed in the through hole to drive the second stage rod to rotate synchronously. The first and second stage rods are telescopically expandable or contractible relative to each other along an axial direction. The second stage casing sleeves over the first stage casing. The first and second stage casings have respectively first and second transmission nuts. The second and first stage rods are in a screw-thread fit with the first and second transmission nuts, respectively. The second stage rod is positioned with the first transmission nut in the axial direction in a rotatable manner.
Bowden Cable Sealing For A Lock Module
A motor vehicle lock module is provided for actuating a vehicle component which includes a locking element and a Bowden cable with a Bowden cable grommet and a core which is guided movably in the Bowden cable sleeve for the transmission of an adjusting force. The core is connected to the adjusting element at a first end. The Bowden cable sleeve can be received at least at a first end in an end piece. Furthermore, a one-piece seal is provided, which encloses the first end of the Bowden cable sleeve in a first region and extends in a second region via a region of the core emerging from the Bowden cable sleeve and sealing on the core is applied. The seal is designed to be pressed into the Bowden cable grommet in an end-piece-received condition in the first region from an end piece.
