In a bearing cap in which a sensor support part is formed on a bottom surface section of a cap body and in which an insertion hole for a rotational speed sensor is formed in the sensor support part, a recess that accommodates a tip portion of the rotational speed sensor is formed in the portion of the bottom surface section where the sensor support part is formed. The sensor support part includes a first wall section and a second wall section that are disposed, facing each other across a virtual line L passing through a center axis G1 of the bottom surface section and a center axis G2 of the insertion hole, and that are formed along the circumferential edge of the recess. Protrusions protruding from the bottom surface section are continuously provided on the outer circumferential surfaces of the first wall section and the second wall section.

TURBOMACHINE FAN ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A ROLLER BEARING AND A DOUBLE-ROW BALL BEARING WITH OBLIQUE CONTACT

A slewing bearing includes first and second rings and rolling elements therebetween. The first ring has a shoulder, and a cap is fixed to the first ring that, with the shoulder, defines a radially outwardly facing circumferential groove. A sealing contact member is fixed to a surface of the second ring. A first seal is mounted in the groove, and a sealing member is mounted on the cap. The first seal and the sealing member each include a sealing lip in sliding frictional contact with the sealing contact member.

In an angular ball bearing (10), an outer race (12) has at least one diameter-directional hole (15) that supplies lubricating oil and passes through from the outer circumferential surface to the inner circumferential surface along the diameter direction. In a cross-section taken along the axial direction passing through a center (O) of the ball (13), the axial-directional position of a line extending through a central axis (X) of the diameter-directional hole (15) in the outer circumferential surface of a retainer (14) is located between an intersection position (A), at which an outer circumferential surface (14a) of the retainer (14) and a surface of a ball (13) intersect, and an axial-directional end (B) of a pocket (P).

Hub bearing unit with radial and axial displacement limiter

A hub bearing unit includes an inner ring having inboard and outboard axial ends and a bearing inner race on an outer surface. An outer ring disposed about the inner ring has inboard and outboard axial ends and a bearing outer race on an inner surface. One ring is coupled with a wheel and rotatable about an axis and the other ring is fixedly coupled with a frame. A plurality of rolling elements is rollable upon the inner and outer races. A displacement limiter extends radially from one ring and has a frustoconical stop surface spaced radially from a surface of the other ring. The limiter stop surface engages with the ring surface when the ring displaces radially and/or axially relative to the other ring to prevent brinelling impacts on the bearing races. Preferably, the displacement limiter is located axially between the rolling elements and the ring inboard ends.
