TORQUE TRANSMITTING SYSTEM WITH CONCENTRICALLY ARRANGED ROLLING BEARINGS, DRIVE UNIT, AND DRIVE ASSEMBLY

A torque transmitting system, a drive unit, and a drive assembly are provided. The torque transmitting system includes a torque transmitting element and a support element which supports it via rotary bearings. The torque transmitting element has a first connection device for coupling to a first assembly in a rotationally fixed manner and a second connection device for coupling to a second assembly. One of the two elements forms a substantially hollow cylindrical shoulder, and the respective other element forms the outer cylindrical face and, correspondingly thereto, the inner face of a hollow cylinder radially outwards. The shoulder is arranged between the outer face and the inner face in a radial direction. A first rotary bearing is arranged between the outer face and the shoulder, and a second rotary bearing is arranged between the shoulder and the inner face. By using the torque transmitting system, less axial installation space is.

In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a wheel end apparatus for a vehicle is provided that includes a wheel hub assembly configured to be mounted to a spindle and a wheel hub of the wheel hub assembly. The wheel end apparatus includes a coil of wire and at least one magnet of the wheel hub assembly configured to move relative to one another with rotation of the wheel hub around the spindle. The wheel end apparatus includes a wheel end device operably coupled to the coil of wire to receive electrical power generated by relative movement of the coil of wire and the at least one magnet. Further, the wheel end apparatus includes communication circuitry operably coupled to the wheel end device and configured to wirelessly communicate wheel end device information with a wheel end monitoring device.

A disconnection assembly has a one-way clutch. The one-way clutch serves to either connect or disconnect the power connection of a vehicle. The disconnection assembly is installed in a reducer including an intermediate shaft, a bushing, an outer gear and a one-way clutch. The bushing is secured to the intermediate shaft by spline. The one-way clutch is disposed between the bushing and the outer gear. The one-way clutch is locked to drive the rotation of the intermediate shaft through the bushing when the outer gear rotates in a first direction, and the one-way clutch is released to allow the outer gear rotates freely when the outer gear rotates in a second direction.

The invention provides a seal for a taper roller bearing. The seal includes: a frame having: an outer flange, extending radially outward, an inner flange, extending radially inward, an middle flange, located between the outer flange and the inner flange and extending in an axial direction. The outer flange, the inner flange and the middle flange are integrally formed; a sealing ring, at least connects and covers the radial outer side of the outer flange of the frame, and has at least one sealing lip extending outward in the radial direction. The invention also provides an assembly for a taper roller bear, which provides a taper roller bearing. An inn ring of that taper roller bearing has a shoulder with a large flange; and a seal as described above. The middle flange is in interference fit with the outer circumferential surface of the shoulder, and the inner flange presses against and covers at least a part of the large flange.
