The invention relates to a rotary sliding vane machine (1) for fluid processing, comprising a housing (2) with a cavity (4) with a rotor (9). Vanes (12) are arranged in outwardly directed slots (13) in the rotor (9), and relative sliding between the vanes and the rotor provides spaces with variable volumes in the rotational direction. Each vane is supported by a vane bearing apparatus (102) comprising a slide bearing body (105) with a slot (13) forming a slide bearing for the vane (12), and a cylindrical convex face (116) facing away from the slot (13), and, on each side of the slot (13), a pivot bearing pad (106) with a cylindrical concave face (117) facing the slide bearing convex face (116), forming a pivot bearing for the vane.

Planetary gearing and planet pin for a planetary gearing

A planetary gearing includes a sun gear; a plurality of planet gears, a ring gear; and a plurality of planet pins, wherein respectively one planet pin is arranged inside a planet gear, and the planet pin and the planet gear form a lubricated journal bearing. The planet pin includes an axial bore and an inner surface that comprises an axially forward end and an axially rearward end. The inner diameter of the axial bore of the planet pin varies between the axially forward end and the axially rearward end of the inner surface and has a maximum at least at one axial end. The planet pins respectively form a crowning at their abutment surface such that their outer diameter decreases from a maximum outer diameter towards at least an axial end of the abutment surface, and has a minimum at the axial end.

Rapid movement loader slot bearing suitable for use on munitions deployment structures

A loader slot bearing includes an annular housing having first and second axial surfaces and an interior area extending therebetween. The interior area has a first inner surface that extends between the first and second axial surfaces. A portion of the inner surface is a first bearing surface that has a spherical contour. A slot extends partially into the first inner surface from the first axial surface. The slot has a first width. The annular housing is manufactured from a precipitation hardened corrosion resistant stainless steel. The loader slot bearing includes a truncated ball that is positioned in the slot and rotated so that the truncated ball is rotatably retained by the first bearing surface. The truncated ball is angularly misalignable relative to the housing and is manufactured from a 440C stainless steel. A dry lubricant is applied to the spherical exterior surface of the truncated ball.

A structural suspension of radial turret bearing wheels in a turret bearing comprises a rail support structure mounted on a turret bearing support structure, a circular rail mounted to the rail support structure, and a plurality of radial wheels running on the mainly vertical inner side of the rail. The suspension includes a vertical flexible shaft, for each radial wheel, supported by an upper and lower support with a part of the shaft protruding with the radial wheel mounted close to the outer end. The inner side of the rail is a frustum with the shortest radius at the top and an aperture of 2custom character, and the outer mainly planar contacting surface of the wheel has an angle relative to the rotational axis of the wheel, and is overlaid with a convex curvature across the contacting surface.

Manufacturing of a bearing

A method for manufacturing a bearing includes the following steps: a) providing of an outer part with a concave running surface which forms a receiving area for receiving an inner part, b), providing an inner part that is arranged inside the outer part, which inner part is shaped annularly, c) arranging the inner part within the outer part in a machining position in which at least a part of an outer surface of the inner part is exposed for machining, and d), generating of a convex running surface of the inner part, which running surface engages with the receiving area of the outer part whereby the inner part is held captively in the outer part. Subsequently, the inner part may be tilted from the machining position into a running position in which the inner part is concentric with the outer part.
