Roll device
A roll device as a spreader roll has a rotating hollow roll tube which at the ends thereof is rotatably mounted by means of bearing ends which are mounted in rotary bearings. The roll device has a tension element which runs so as to be eccentric to the central longitudinal axis of the roll tube through the roll tube and by internal tension toward the ends of the roll tube is impinged by a force with pressure. As a result, the roll tube is capable of being bent by way of an impingement of the tension element with a force, the deflection being transversely away from the longitudinal extent of said roll tube, if the tension element is tensioned in relation to the roll tube in an axial direction.
Electromechanical servo steering system having a spring-loaded bearing arrangement
An electromechanical servo steering system with an electric servomotor having a motor shaft that drives a shaft which cogs with a helical gear. The shaft is arranged in a transmission housing and is mounted rotatably about an axis of rotation at its end near the motor in a bearing arrangement and is mounted pivotably in the transmission housing about a pivot axis which lies transverse to the axis of rotation. At least one spring element is provided which axial pretensions a bearing element that is pivotably movable with the shaft about the pivot axis, of the bearing arrangement in a spring-elastic manner against a bearing element that is arranged in a stationary manner in the transmission housing, of the bearing arrangement, wherein precisely two spring elements are provided which are arranged oppositely in the circumferential direction of the bearing arrangement.
INTERFACE FOR FASTENING A FIRST COMPONENT TO A SECOND COMPONENT COMPRISING A COLLAR MADE FROM COMPOSITE MATERIAL, BEARING UNIT COMPRISING SUCH AN INTERFACE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH AN INTERFACE
Interface for fastening a first component to a second component providing a fastening collar made from composite material intended to be overmoulded at least on a part of the first component and including a bearing surface intended to bear on the second component and a fastening insert extending along an axis of elongation substantially perpendicular to the bearing surface of the collar for fastening to the second component, the fastening collar being overmoulded around the insert.
Spherical plain bearing for dampers
A spherical bearing for a damper system includes a first segment and a second segment with a ball therebetween. The ball includes a shaft extending therefrom. The shaft extends out of the first segment. A lubricious liner is disposed between the first segment and the second segment.
RETENTION SYSTEM FOR BEARING MEMBER
A retention system for a bearing member includes a sleeve member and a retention member. The retention system includes an inner shoulder adapted to limit movement of the bearing member in at least one of a first axial direction and a second axial direction relative to the bore. The retention system includes an outer shoulder adapted to limit movement of at least one of the sleeve member and the retention member in at least one of the first axial direction and the second axial direction relative to the bore. The retention system includes a plurality of fasteners adapted to limit movement of each of the sleeve member and the retention member in at least one of the first axial direction and the second axial direction relative to the bore. Each of the sleeve member and the retention member is adapted to limit contact of the bearing member with the bore.
Spherical mounted cylindrical roller bearing system
A bearing system is provided in one example embodiment and may include an inner bearing assembly comprising a spherical bearing and an outer race; an outer bearing assembly comprising a plurality of cylindrical roller bearings, an inner race, and an outer race; and a race element comprising an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein the outer surface of the race element is the inner race for the outer bearing assembly and the inner surface of the race element is associated with the outer race for the inner bearing assembly. The inner bearing assembly allows tilting movements of the bearing system and the outer bearing assembly allows rotational movements and supports, at least in part, radial loads for the bearing system.
Self-aligning clutch release bearing
A self-aligning clutch release bearing having a rotating ring 114 and a static ring 112. Static ring 112 is located within a spherical cup 13, which incorporates an inner spherical surface 131, and the static ring 112 engages with the spherical cup 13 through the spherical surface 131. The spherical surface 131 has a radius whose center coincides with a center point 10 defined by intersection of the rotational axis 111 of the bearing and a plane defined by face of the rotating ring 114 that engages with fingers of the clutch. A spherical ring 14 incorporating a spherical end face 141 on its outer diameter is located within an inner diameter of the static ring 112, and engages with a spherical end face 113 on the inner diameter of the static ring. The two spherical end faces have about same radius with their centers coinciding with the center point 10.
Support assembly for food applications having an improved rear sealing device
Support assembly for movable, rotating or sliding shafts, having a bearing unit adapted to receive the movable shaft, a casing and a cover for fluid sealing an opening of an internal seat of the casing; the bearing unit having a radially outer ring, a radially inner ring and a row of rolling elements between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring; the support assembly also being provided with: a rear sealing device, placed on the opposite side with respect to the cover, and comprising a metal shield and a vulcanized rubber liner equipped with a first, axially outer, sealing lip and with a second, axially inner, sealing lip the support assembly being characterized in that the rear sealing device comprises a further third sealing lip slidingly contacting the radially inner ring.
Food hygienic bearing assembly
A food hygienic bearing assembly is presented herein. The assembly includes a housing, a bearing insert and an end cap. The housing includes a bore spanning between a first surface and a second surface, the bearing insert being disposed within the bore. A plurality of integral spacers extend from the second surface of the housing with a blind tapped hole disposed through each of the spacers and partially into a main body portion of the housing. The end cap is secured to the first surface of the housing in an at least partially covering relation to the bore via at least one fastener and at least one lubrication fitting. The end cap has a partially open configuration defined by a plurality of spaced holes disposed thereon, through which a mounting hole of the bearing insert is accessible without removing the end cap.
