Curvilinear rolling guide unit and method of loading rolling elements into slider thereof
A curvilinear rolling guide unit allows a slider to readily straddle an endless guide rail and can prevent leakage of lubricant from a lubrication hole formed in each end cap. Each end cap is composed of an end cap body and a spacer. The end cap body has a lubrication hole, a lubrication groove, a slit which are formed in an upper portion thereof. The lubrication groove establish communication between the lubrication hole and turnaround passages. The slit extends from the lubrication hole to the under surface of the upper portion. A lubrication plug is fitted into the lubrication hole of the end cap body, closes the slit, and has a hole formed therein and serving as a lubrication passage communicating with the lubrication groove.
Motion guide apparatus
A motion guide apparatus is provided which can prevent a ball from contacting an edge of a ball rolling groove of a track member when the ball transfers from a rolling surface of the inner peripheral side of a turn-around path (an inner peripheral-side component) to the track member. The motion guide apparatus includes: a track member (2) including a ball rolling groove (2a); and a moving member assembled to the track member (2) in such a manner as to be movable relative to the track member (2). The moving member includes: a moving member body having a loaded ball rolling groove facing the ball rolling groove (2a), and a return path substantially parallel to the loaded ball rolling groove; and a lid member having a turn-around path. In cross section of the motion guide apparatus perpendicular to a length direction of the track member (2), letting the radius of curvature of the ball rolling groove (2a) be R, and letting the distance from a ball center (O) to a rolling surface (21) of the inner peripheral side of the turn-around path (an inner peripheral-side component (9a)) be r, R>r is set.
LINEAR MOTION GUIDE UNIT
A linear motion guide unit restrains fluctuations in sliding friction and generation of heat by correcting the postures of rollers having been inclined in a no-load area such that their axes become orthogonal to a guide surface of a carriage to thereby introduce the rollers in proper postures into a load area. A retainer plate of the guide unit has a guide surface for guiding end surfaces of the rollers and has protrusions protruding from the guide surface at its opposite end portions facing crownings of the carriage. The rollers rolling from a turnaround passage to a load-carrying race are pressed by the protrusions toward the guide surface of the carriage so as to be arrayed in such a posture that the axes of the rollers become orthogonal to the guide surface on the inlet side of the crowning of the carriage, whereby the occurrence of roller skew is prevented.
Re-circulating ball sliding support assembly
The present invention provides a sliding support assembly comprising an elongate rail of channel section defining a first web and first and second flanges. A slide cassette is positioned between the first and second flanges of the elongate rail such that the slide cassette and the first and second flanges define a first endless track and a second endless track and a plurality of bearing balls is positioned within the first and second endless tracks. The slide cassette comprises a body member formed from extruded material.
Guiding body and motion-guiding device provided with same
A guide body can be prevented from being disengaged from a track rail even where the track rail is made of a low-rigidity material, thereby securing reliable movement along the track rail. The guide body includes: a large number of rolling elements that roll on a rolling surface formed along a structure, the guide body being movable relative to the structure; an endless circulation path through which the large number of rolling elements circulate; a load opening portion for allowing the large number of rolling elements in the endless circulation path to be held in contact with the rolling surface of the structure; and a guide portion formed on at least one side of the load opening portion so as to project toward the structure side with respect to projecting ends of the large number of rolling elements projecting from the load opening portion toward the structure side.
Seat slide apparatus for vehicle
A seat slide apparatus for a vehicle, the seat slide apparatus includes: a lower rail which is fixed to a vehicle floor; an upper rail which is slidably engaged with the lower rail; and a rolling element circulation unit having rolling elements and interposed between the lower rail and the upper rail in a state where the rolling elements are able to be circulated, in which the lower rail includes a bottom wall portion, sidewall portions, and upper wall portions, the upper rail includes a main body portion, and folded-back portions, the rolling element circulation unit includes a case having an annular accommodating path accommodating the rolling elements, between the lower rail and the upper rail, an upper rolling element circulation unit and a lower rolling element circulation unit are provided to be disposed at two positions spaced apart from each other, and the upper rail includes a pedestal portion.
Curvilinear motion rolling guide unit
A curvilinear motion rolling guide unit is such that pipe members adapted to form return passages are disposed respectively at undercuts of wings of an arcuate casing, thereby reducing working costs. A slider has a casing and end caps fixed to respective opposite ends of the casing. Pipe members adapted to form return passages are disposed at the respective undercuts formed on the wings of the casing. Cover members have longitudinally extending grooves, respectively, for covering the pipe members. Fitting grooves formed at opposite ends of the grooves of the cover members are fitted to direction changing passages provided in the respective end caps, whereby the cover members are fixed to the end caps.
