Functional nutritious rice and production method thereof
A nutritious rice is produced using rice, rice bran oil and a natural antioxidant as raw materials, wherein the weight ratio of the rice and rice bran oil is 1000:0.5-1000:3, and the natural antioxidant accounts for 1-15% of the weight of the rice bran oil. Such functional nutritious rice is provided with improved oxidation resistance and prolonged shelf life through the use of natural antioxidant. Also, the method of the present invention is simple, economical and effective.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING SUSHI
A method of providing sushi for consumption. The method includes preparing the sushi; placing the sushi in a humidified refrigerated storage unit at an ambient humidity level over 65% and under 99% and at a temperature between about 0 C. and about 7 C.; preserving for a period under fifteen hours the sushi in the humidified refrigerated storage unit to reduce loss of moisture of the sushi rice of the sushi during the preservation period; and removing the sushi from the humidified refrigerated storage unit prior to being served.
Sheet-shaped food product
A sheet-shaped food product is a sheet-shaped food product molded by containing a raw food material and a binding agent, in which the sheet-shaped food product is provided with a surface layer at both sides and an inner side layer, which is present between the surface layers and has lower density than each surface layer, and mass ratio (WA/WB) of dry mass of the raw food material (WA) to dry mass of the binding agent 3 (WB) is 4.9 to 7.3.
COATING COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
The present disclosure provides a coating composition including a pectin and a non-glycerol sugar alcohol. The pectin can be present in an amount by weight of at least 30.0% and at most 50.0%. The non-glycerol sugar alcohol can be present in an amount by weight of at least 10.0%) and at most 40.0%. The pectin can be present in a ratio of at least 1:1 and at most 5:1 relative to the non-glyercol sugar alcohol. The present disclosure also provides coating suspensions, coatings, and coated substrates related to the coating composition. The present disclosure also provides methods of making and using the coating compositions.
WRAPPING DEVICE FOR SHEET-LIKE FOOD
A wrapping device is a device configured to wrap sheet-like food around shaped food. The wrapping device includes a main body, two guide members at a given interval therebetween so as to protrude from the main body, and a control part configured to control at least one of the two guide members. The control part controls operation of the two guide members so that, in a state where the sheet-like food is placed on the two guide members and the food placed on the sheet-like food passes through between the two guide members, a part of at least one of the two guide members moves an end of the sheet-like food toward the center of the food to wrap the end of the sheet-like food around the food.
Snack Bars And Methods Of Making
Snack bars incorporating a prebiotic, probiotic and natural fibers, and methods of making such snack bars are described herein. The snack bar may incorporate waxy grains held together by a binder comprising inulin and may be enrobed with a yogurt coating. The methods may include mixing inulin into a binder syrup at low temperature and a slab-bake process for reducing water activity.
Methods to produce Plant protein lectin eliminated legumes, and or nuts, and or seeds, and products therefrom
The present invention relates to legumes, and or nuts, and or seeds, and products containing the legumes, nuts and or seeds and to their methods of preparation. More particularly, the present invention is directed towards eliminating plant protein lectins in legumes, and or nuts, and or seeds and to the methods of preparation. Plant lectins are proteins produced by plants as a poisonous defense, and found in many of the foods we eat containing nuts and or legumes and or seeds. Everyday people enjoy eating snacks like; health/nutrition bars, candy bars, soy beans, cashews or even a can of peanuts containing the plant protein lectins. Many of whom are having adverse effects from plant protein lectins.
In the Present Invention, the legumes, and or nuts, and or seeds are processed using methods unused and unknown to one skilled in the art. Resulting in legumes, and or nuts, and or seeds in which the plant protein lectins are removed. And these processed legumes, and or nuts, and or seeds are further processed to accept various coatings used in the trade and directed towards providing multiple edible products containing legumes, and or nuts, and or seeds free of plant protein lectins. Food products including but not limited to, dough, health bars, cereals, yogurt, pastries, ice cream, and the like, as well as pet foods and animal feeds. Another process, the different products are packaged for consumer consumption and/or commercial uses. Also provided are typical methods used for production of these products in the art.
COOKED-RICE IMPROVER HAVING FLAVOR IMPROVING ACTION
This invention provides a cooked-rice improver having flavor sustaining and/or flavor enhancement effects of cooked rice. The improver is obtained by mixing low-decomposition starch having a predetermined molecular weight and dextrin having a predetermined DE value at a predetermined ratio. This invention provides a cooked-rice improver flavor sustaining and/or flavor enhancement actions on cooked rice, and cooked rice produced by using the same. The cooked-rice improver contains low-decomposition starch having the molecular weight of 500,000 to 5,000,000 and dextrin having a DE value greater than one and equal to or lower than fifty at a ratio of 1:9 to 9:1 in a mass ratio.
