Plain bearing arrangement for a shaft loaded with a circumferential radial force
A plain bearing arrangement for a shaft loaded with a circumferential radial force, having a bearing ring arranged in a rotationally fixed manner in a housing component and having a first running surface formed on the inner circumference, and a second running surface formed on the outer circumference of the shaft or on the outer circumference of a sleeve arranged on the shaft, the second running surface being mounted in a sliding manner on the first running surface, wherein a device for axially feeding a lubricant to an end side of the shaft is provided, and at least one axially extending, radially open groove that is axially open in a direction of the end side of the shaft is formed in the second running surface.
Rotary actuator
A rotary actuator where a thrust bearing ring is positioned at an inside of a tube assembly accommodating oil, thereby reducing abrasion and damage caused by rolling friction and improving rotary power of an axle load by increasing hydraulic pressure of a piston. The rotary actuator includes the tube assembly, a piston, an axle load assembly, and a thrust bearing ring. The tube assembly is provided with a tube spiral portion where a spiral is formed at an inner circumference surface, and is formed of a first passage where oil flows into and out and a second passage spaced apart from the first passage by a fixed distance.
ROLLING BEARING
A rolling bearing includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of balls, a cage, and sealing devices. An action that forces grease from one axial side to the other axial side occurs in an annular space. The cage includes an annular body provided on one axial side, and a plurality of cage prongs provided so as to extend from the annular body to the other axial side. Cage pockets that house the balls are each formed on the other axial side of the annular body and between the cage prongs adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction. The cage pockets are open to the other axial side.
Axle bearing, grease composition and rolling ball bearing
To provide an axle bearing having a low torque property and superior bearing lifetime. A hub bearing 6 is configured to rotatably support a wheel of a vehicle, and has a grease composition 10 sealed in an inner space thereof. The grease composition 10 contains a base oil and a thickener. The shear stress of the grease composition at the shear rate of 1,000-10,000 s.sup.?1 at 25? C. is 3,000 Pa or less. The viscosity of the grease composition is 1 Pas or less. The yield stress of the grease composition at 25? C. measured by a dynamic viscoelasticity analysis method using a rheometer is 1,300-3,000 Pa.
MONITORING THE FILLING LEVEL OF LUBRICANT IN A BEARING
A method of monitoring the amount of lubricant inside a bearing of a wind turbine is provided. The bearing includes a lubricant for reducing wear and fatigue of the bearing, a seal for minimizing the amount of lubricant which is leaking out of the bearing, a ventilation device with at least one pressure compensation hole for enabling a pressure compensation between the sealed bearing and the ambient, and a lubricant drain hole for enabling lubricant to exit the bearing in a controlled manner. The method includes the steps of blowing a compressed medium through the pressure compensation hole into the bearing; measuring the pressure inside the bearing; and determining the amount of lubricant inside the bearing based on the measured pressure.
Oleophilic bearing with surface-modified part made of stainless rolling bearing steel
In order to make a bearing, such as a roller bearing, insensitive to a lack of maintenance lubrication or irregular maintenance lubrication while at the same time retaining its mechanical performance, at least one bearing part of the bearing is provided at least partially with an oleophilic adhesion promoter layer. The adhesion promoter layer binds a lubricant layer of the bearing to the bearing part provided with the adhesion promoter layer. The adhesion promoter layer is bonded to an elemental-iron-free surface of a bearing part body. The removal of free iron from the bearing part body surface is carried out with nitric acid, chromate solution and/or citric acid. The treated bearing part has an oleophilic anti-corrosion adhesion promoter layer. The bearing may be used in pressure-operated devices, in particular in turbine handpieces used by dentists, because the loss of the lubricant layer during operation of the device was particularly high.
Shaft-hub assembly
A split shaft with a setting adjustment, including a first part and a second part with threaded cylindrical sections, that may optionally also optionally include a sleeve to interconnect the first and second parts by threading. A shaft-hub unit, which includes the split shaft and a cylindrical hub with two couplable parts. Use of the split shaft and shaft-hub unit in cutting disks of planters and subsoilers, as well as in wheels of planters, is also described.
ROLLING BEARING
A rolling bearing includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements, and a cage. A first seal is provided on one side of the annular space between the inner ring and the outer ring in the axial direction and has a first lip portion that forms a first labyrinth clearance with the inner ring to prevent spill of the grease. A second seal is provided on the other side of the annular space in the axial direction and has a second lip portion that forms a second labyrinth clearance with the inner ring to prevent spill of the grease. The second lip portion is larger than the first lip portion such that the path length of the second labyrinth clearance is longer than the path length of the first labyrinth clearance.
SEALING DEVICE
The invention provides a sealing device sealing a foreign material in a machine outer side so as to prevent the foreign material from entering into a machine inner side, having an end face lip which slidably comes into contact with an end face portion of a rotation side part, and applying grease for lubrication to an inner peripheral surface of the end face lip. In the sealing device, an application amount of the grease applied to an inner peripheral surface of a leading end portion in the end face lip is set to be smaller than an application amount of the grease applied to an inner peripheral surface of a root portion in the end face lip. Accordingly, grease applied to an inner peripheral surface of an end face lip is hard to be scattered even in the case that a centrifugal force acts on the sealing device.
Self lubricating cam follower assembly
A cam follower assembly includes a shaft having a body defining a flanged head having an outer bearing surface extending therefrom. An outer ring is positioned around the shaft thereby forming an annular space there between. A plurality of rollers is positioned in the annular space. A channel extends through the shaft and branches radially outward at an outlet to communicate with the annular space. A lubrication assembly is positioned in the shaft and includes a pressurizing device located upstream of a lubrication reservoir and a metering device positioned downstream of the lubrication reservoir. The lubrication reservoir is in fluid communication with the outlet. The lubrication assembly includes a membrane positioned downstream of the lubrication reservoir. A piercing device is positioned proximate the membrane to pierce the membrane and release a lubricant from the lubrication reservoir.
