Grease composition and bearing
The invention provides a grease composition suitable for being packed in roll bearings to be lubricated at elevated temperatures and a bearing in which the above-mentioned grease composition is packed. In the grease composition containing a base oil, a urea-containing thickener and an additive, the additive includes an overbased metal sulfonate and the amount of the overbased metal sulfonate is 0.05 to 1.00 mass % with respect to the total amount of the grease composition. The bearing has the above-mentioned grease composition sealed therein.
SEAL ASSEMBLY AND ROLLING BEARING COMPRISING SUCH AN ASSEMBLY
Seal assembly comprising a fixed element, a rotatable element, and a sealing member. A first lip comprises an annular smooth region at the end of the first lip. The first lip and a second lip each comprise an irregular region on the face oriented towards the sliding surface. The assembly comprises a grease which is a grease having a degree of bleeding that is greater than or equal to 5 percent.
Electromagnetic compatibility of a drive arrangement for an electrically driven vehicle
A drive arrangement for an electrically driven vehicle includes an electric motor that is configured to accelerate the vehicle, the electric motor has a rotor, which is arranged inside a stator having stator windings and is arranged on a rotor shaft. The drive arrangement also includes a drive shaft coupled to a drive wheel of the vehicle, and a shaft coupling that transmits torque output by the rotor shaft such that said torque is conducted to the drive shaft, wherein the shaft coupling has a torque receiving element that receives the torque output by the electric motor, and a torque output element that is mechanically coupled to the torque receiving element and outputs the torque in a direction of the drive shaft. An electrically insulating grease is arranged between the torque receiving element and the torque output element.
Lubricant for roller bearings, roller bearing and method for production and repair of roller bearings
A lubricant for a rolling-element bearing includes a conventional lubricant as a base lubricant and at least one first additive, wherein the first additive includes muscovite, and the lubricant includes a proportion of muscovite that is between 3% and 5%. Also a method of lubricating a rolling-element bearing using the lubricant and a method of repairing a rolling-element bearing using the lubricant.
Lubricant for vehicle having vehicle body charged by driving
A lubricant that enables to improve control stability of an automobile or the like having a vehicle body charged by driving. A lubricant for improving control stability of an automobile includes a base oil and an additive containing a carbon black. A kit for improving control stability of an automobile includes a discharging member including a protrusion that performs a self-discharging by air-ionizing and the lubricant. A method also improves control stability of an automobile.
Ball bearing for spindle with built-in motor
An object is to provide a motor-incorporation-spindle ball bearing capable of allowing cooling air which enters inside the bearing of the motor-incorporation-spindle to be discharged smoothly out of the bearing without causing turbulent flow inside the bearing, does not cause a retainer easily to be vibrated, and provides a high level of silent operation. A seal plate has a length to allow air to pass through the bearing from an entrance side toward an exit side substantially straightly without resistance. Therefore, the seal plate is less likely to be exposed to unnecessary force when the air passes through the bearing; the seal plate is prevented from wobble and deformation; stable sealing is ensured; the air is discharged smoothly without causing turbulent flow inside the bearing; a retainer is not easily vibrated, and silent operation is maintained.
Rotation transmitting apparatus with built-in one-way clutch
The present invention provides a rotation-transmitting apparatus with a built-in one-way clutch which is capable of preventing rolling contact surfaces and rolling surfaces of inner and outer rings of a rolling bearing from peeling and fretting wearing and is excellent in its resistance to heat and wear. The rotation-transmitting apparatus with a built-in one-way clutch has an inside rotational member; a cylindrical outside rotational member disposed concentrically with the inside rotational member; a one-way clutch connecting the outside surface of the inside rotational member and the inside surface of the outside rotational member to each other only when the outside rotational member rotates at a higher speed than the inside rotational member; and a pair of rolling bearings allowing the inside rotational member and the outside rotational member to rotate relative to each other. Grease is enclosed inside an internal space of a clutch where a plurality of rollers is mounted and inside a space of the bearing where a plurality of rolling elements is mounted. The grease contains a base oil, a thickener, and an additive. The base oil is PAO oil. As the additive, 0.01 to 15 wt % of at leas one compound selected from among ZnDTC and ZnDTP is contained for the entire amount of the grease.
GREASE COMPOSITION FOR VEHICULAR HUB UNIT BEARINGS
A grease composition for vehicular hub unit bearings is provided, in which a base oil is a synthetic hydrocarbon oil having a kinematic viscosity at 40? C. of 25-50 mm.sup.2/s, a thickener is an alicyclic aliphatic diurea compound, based on a total mass of the composition, 0.1-5% by mass of a carboxylic acid-based corrosion inhibitor, 0.1-5% by mass of a carboxylic acid salt-based corrosion inhibitor, and 0.1-3% by mass of an amine salt of a fatty acid are contained, and a worked penetration is 220-270.
Grease composition-filled ball bearing, pivot assembly bearing including the ball bearing, and hard disk drive including the pivot assembly bearing
A ball bearing is filled with a grease composition. The grease composition contains a synthetic oil other than a synthetic hydrocarbon oil, a synthetic hydrocarbon oil, a mineral oil, and a urea compound. The synthetic oil other than the synthetic hydrocarbon oil is contained in an amount of 10% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less when the total of the synthetic oil other than the synthetic hydrocarbon oil, the synthetic hydrocarbon oil and the mineral oil is taken as 100% by mass.
