Gyroscopic Boat Roll Stabilizer with Bearing Cooling
A gyroscopic roll stabilizer includes an enclosure, a flywheel assembly, a bearing, a motor, and a bearing cooling circuit. The enclosure is mounted to a gimbal for rotation about a gimbal axis and configured to maintain a below-ambient pressure. The flywheel assembly includes a flywheel and flywheel shaft. The bearing rotatably mounts the flywheel assembly inside the enclosure for rotation about a flywheel axis. The bearing has an inner race and an outer race. The inner race is affixed to the flywheel shaft, and the outer race is held rotationally fixed relative to the enclosure. The motor is operative to rotate the flywheel assembly. The bearing cooling circuit is configured to transfer heat away from the bearing by recirculating cooling fluid along a closed fluid pathway. The gyroscopic roll stabilizer is configured to transfer heat away from the inner and/or outer race of the bearing to the cooling fluid.

A UTV double row tapered wheel bearing assembly may include a first inner diameter race, a second inner diameter race axially offset from the first inner diameter race, and an outer diameter race radially offset from the first inner diameter race and the second inner diameter race, the outer diameter race formed as a single integral member. A first ring of rollers may be disposed between the outer diameter race and the first inner diameter race. A second ring of rollers may be disposed between the outer diameter race and the second inner diameter race. A first shield may be coupled to a first axial face of the bearing, and a second shield may be coupled to the second axial face of the bearing.

BEARING RING
A bearing ring for a rolling-element bearing including an axially extending outer surface, two radially extending side surfaces, an inner surface configured to at least partially contact a rolling element and at least one radially extending recess in the inner surface that is configured to work together with a lifting tool to allow the bearing ring to be lifted by the lifting tool. Also a method of lifting a bearing ring having such a recess.

Clamp Collar
A bearing assembly is disclosed, comprising: an outer race and a plurality of rolling elements associated with the outer race. An inner race adapted to receive a shaft therein is rotatably disposed within the outer race such that the plurality of rolling elements are disposed between the inner and outer races. A cylindrical extension forming a plurality of tabs symmetrically arranged around the entire periphery of the extension is adapted to engage the shaft. A clamp collar that is installable around the cylindrical extension is defined by a circular wall with at least one threaded opening extending through the circular wall. The threaded member extends through one of the threaded openings to make contact with and apply a biasing force on one of the plurality of tabs towards the shaft when the shaft is disposed in the inner race to secure the inner race on the shaft.

TRIPOT JOINT WITH ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY RING
A tripot housing and method of manufacture thereof is provided. The tripot housing includes a housing body extending along an axis between a first end having an end wall and an open second end. A drive shaft extends from the end wall along the axis away from the second end. The housing body has an outer surface and an inner surface. The inner surface defines a guide channel that extends between the first end and the second end. The outer surface has a first region extending axially along a direction from the first end toward the second end to a shoulder that extends radially outwardly from the first region. The outer surface has a second region extending axially from the shoulder toward the second end. A ring has an inner surface disposed in an interference fit on first region and an outer surface extending radially outwardly from the second region.

Auxiliary bearing of the ball bearing type for a magnetically suspended rotor system
An assembly includes a rotating shaft supported with respect to a stationary housing by at least one active magnetic bearing presenting a mean radial air gap and at least one auxiliary bearing having first and second coaxially arranged annular surfaces is provided. One of the first and second coaxially arranged annular surfaces defines a clearance (E2) with one of the stationary housing and the rotating shaft, the clearance (E2) being less than the mean radial air gap and the other of the first and second coaxially arranged annular surfaces being integral with the other one of the stationary housing and the rotating shaft. The auxiliary bearing provides a first ball bearing and a second ball bearing having a misalignment with respect to each other in order to increase the starting torque.
