JOINT AND SPEED REDUCER
A joint according to one aspect of the disclosure includes: a joint body having an input gear meshing with a speed reduction mechanism, the joint body receiving an output shaft of a motor detachably coupled to the joint body; a motor flange disposed between the speed reduction mechanism and the motor and rotatably supporting the joint body; and an intermediate flange connecting between the motor flange and the motor. At least one fixing member for fixing the joint body and the output shaft to each other is provided at at least one position in the joint body that overlaps with the intermediate flange as viewed from a radial direction. The intermediate flange is formed as an annulus surrounding the joint body by a plurality of split pieces that can be split in a circumferential direction.
Torque Transmission Shaft
A torque transmission shaft includes a shaft and a clamp. The shaft includes: a male serration in one axial end portion; a slit in the other axial end portion, the slit axially extending and having a closed end on one side and an open end on the other side; a fitting cylinder portion in the other axial end portion; and a female serration provided in of the other axial end portion. The clamp includes: a discontinuous portion arranged at one place in the circumferential direction; a pair of flange portions arranged on both sides of the discontinuous portion; a connecting portion connecting the flange portions; and an insertion hole for fitting cylinder portion. The clamp is fitted onto the fitting cylinder portion to reduce the diameter of the fitting cylinder portion by narrowing the width dimension of the discontinuous portion.
Systems and methods for deep brain stimulation surgery
Systems and methods for operating deep brain stimulation are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the systems and methods encompass an adapter a body portion, a shank portion; and a cam system. The cam system is comprised of a camshaft and an eyebolt that secures a latch. The body portion of the adapter is coupled to a hand knob of a microdriver and the shank portion is coupled to a drill. When the drill is activated, the adapter transmits rotational energy from the drill to the hand knob of the microdriver, which automates the raising and lowering of its needle.
Steering shaft assembly
A shaft assembly includes a yoke having a yoke body having an exterior surface extending between a first end and a second end along a first axis. The yoke body defines a first bore and a second bore. The first bore extends along the first axis between the first end and the second end. The second bore extends partially across the yoke body along a second axis that is disposed transverse to the first axis. The second bore at least partially intersects the first bore.
Clamped chainring assembly for electric bicycle
An electric bicycle includes a frame assembly, wheels supporting the frame assembly, a motor assembly coupled to the frame assembly and having a motor output shaft, and a chainring assembly including a mounting portion clamped onto the motor output shaft.
Device for connecting a steering column to a steering gear housing
A device for connecting a steering column to a steering gear housing comprising a shaft (2) having an end portion (20), a clamping collar (1) comprising two arms (10, 11) arranged relative to one another in such a way as to delimit a cavity (3) able to guide the shaft (2) into a position of engagement and keep the shaft (2) in the engaged position, and means (16) for clamping the arms (10, 11) onto the shaft in the engaged position with a set torque, the cavity (3) comprising a coupling zone (4) and an entry zone (5) situated to the rear of the coupling zone in the direction of insertion and dimensioned in relation to the coupling zone (4) in such a way as to prevent the clamping means from being clamped to the set torque when the end portion is situated in the entry zone (5).
BICYCLE TRANSMISSION DEVICE
A bicycle transmission device for connected to an freehub body on a rear wheel, which has convex keys arranged radially on the periphery, is provided, including a connecting member, a fastener, and a cogset assembly. The connecting member includes a cylindrical body portion, connection keys protruding from periphery of the body portion, a cut groove passing through the body portion, a first and second connecting seats located on two sides of the cut groove. The inner wall of the body portion has concave grooves corresponding to the convex keys. The fastener is connected to the connecting seats to exert a force making them close. The cogset assembly includes a cogset seat and sprockets. The cogset seat has a first socket hole fitting around the connecting member, and connection grooves corresponding and connected to the connection keys; the sprockets with different chain teeth are connected to the cogset seat.
Dynamic Reversible Multi-Cross Section Universal Modular Driveline Coupler
Apparatus and method for an improved driveline coupler having a reversible saddle thereon which allows it to be configured to work with different sizes and shapes of shafts. The reversible saddle is configured on one side to work with one size of driveline shaft and configured on the opposite side to work with a different size driveline shaft so that, in the field, an operator can modify the driveline coupler from use with a first size of drive shaft to a second size of drive shaft easily and quickly by turning the saddle upside down.
TOOL HOLDER HAVING A CYLINDRICAL FIXATION BORE EXTENDING REARWARDLY FROM A FRONT FIXATION SURFACE AND A FASTENING BORE INTERSECTING THE FRONT FIXATION SURFACE
A tool holder has a holder body, a first clamping member, and a first fastening member. The holder body includes a fixation portion and a mounting portion located rearward of the fixation portion. The fixation portion has a front fixation surface facing in a forward direction, a cylindrical fixation bore opening out to the front fixation surface and extending rearwardly therefrom, and a longitudinally extending primary slot connecting the fixation bore to a fixation envelope surface. The first clamping member occupies a first clamping bore and traverses the primary slot. The first fastening member occupies a first fastening bore which intersects the first clamping bore and opens out to the front fixation surface. The fixation bore has a fixation bore first primary diameter which decreases and increases when the first fastening member is rotated in first fastening and first unfastening directions about the first fastening member axis, respectively.
Split sprockets for use in conveyor systems
A split sprocket for use in a modular conveyor belt is disclosed. The split sprocket includes first and second portions that may be selectively arranged in a first configuration in which the sprocket maintains a fixed axial position on the shaft and a second configuration in which the sprocket can axially float along the shaft.
