Shaft locking assemblies and methods
Shaft locking assemblies for a drive shaft include an assembly hub configured to accommodate the drive shaft, the assembly hub including a stop plate; an assembly hub interior in the assembly hub; a contractible shaft locking sleeve disposed in the assembly hub interior and configured to accommodate the drive shaft, the shaft locking sleeve engaging the stop plate; at least one pusher sleeve engaging the shaft locking sleeve; a fluid pressure space disposed in pressure transmitting relationship to the pusher sleeve; and a fluid pressurizing mechanism disposed in fluid communication with the fluid pressure space. The pusher sleeve is adapted to push against the shaft locking sleeve and the shaft locking sleeve is adapted to contract and push against the stop plate and contract against the drive shaft responsive to introducing a pressurizing fluid into the fluid pressure space. Methods of locking a rotating element on a drive shaft are also disclosed.
Transmission Output Shaft
A transmission includes a case, a torque sensor, and a two-piece output shaft. The torque sensor is attached to the case and defines an inner diameter. The two-piece output shaft assembly is partially disposed within the case and includes a planet carrier operably coupled to a shaft extending through the inner diameter. The carrier and the shaft are separate components that are directly connected together and the carrier defines a park gear.
Pair of connectable portions for connecting a transmission shaft and a roller
A transmission shaft and a roller comprising a pair of connectable portions (M, F) for connecting a transmission shaft (5, 8) and a roller (4, 7) to be driven by torque exerted through the transmission shaft (5, 8). The pair of connectable portions (M, F) comprise a male portion (M) provided on one of the transmission shaft (5, 8) and roller (4, 7) and a complementary female portion (F) provided on the other of the roller (4, 7) and transmission shaft (5, 8). The male portion (M) has a longitudinal axis of rotation (X) and tapers inwardly from a proximal end to a distal end. The male portion (M) has a non-circular cross section.

Coupling system between an operating machine and a planetary gearbox
A coupling system between an operating machine and a planetary gearbox. The coupling system comprising an axially rotatable machine shaft of an operating machine; and a slow gearbox shaft of a planetary gearbox connectable integrally in rotation with the machine shaft in an operational configuration. The machine shaft and the slow gearbox shaft comprise a first coupling portion and a second coupling portion, respectively, substantially truncated cone-shaped and complementary to each other, the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion being conically coupled to each other in the operational configuration.
