The hub includes a third flow passage arranged for fluid communication with the second flow passage and one of the first fluid chamber or the second fluid chamber.
Aircraft turbine engine with planetary or epicyclic gear train
Aircraft turbine engine comprising a low-pressure spool that comprises a low-pressure shaft (24), means (44) for taking off power from said low-pressure shaft, and a fan (28) that is driven by said low-pressure shaft by means of a reduction gear (32), said reduction gear comprising at least one first element (50) that is connected to said low-pressure shaft for conjoint rotation, at least one second element (56) that is connected to said fan for conjoint rotation, and at least one third element (52) that is connected to a stator casing of the turbine engine, characterised in that said at least one third element is connected to said stator casing by disengageable connection means (60), and comprising at least one member that can move from a first position in which said at least one third element is fixedly connected to said stator casing into a second position in which said at least one third element is separated from said stator casing and is free to rotate about said longitudinal axis.
CLUTCH CONTROL DEVICE
The clutch control device comprises: a pump that feeds oil to a hydraulic clutch; a control part that controls the pump; an input-side oil channel through which oil suctioned into the pump from an oil tank passes; an output-side oil channel connecting the pump and the hydraulic clutch; a pressure sensor; a connecting oil channel connected to the input-side oil channel and the output-side oil channel; and a solenoid valve that interrupts or allows the flow of oil in the connecting oil channel. The opening degree of the valve can be adjusted. When a drive shaft and a driven shaft are connected by the hydraulic clutch, the control part adjusts the opening degree of the valve on the basis of the pressure of oil in the output-side oil channel and the number of rotations made by the driven shaft while monotonically increasing the number of rotations of the drive part.
Coupling module for a drive train of a motor vehicle
A hybrid module has an intermediate element via which a counter plate, or at least one of the counter plates, of a coupling device is fixedly connected to a rotor element. At least one pressure plate and/or intermediate plate of the coupling device is here connected rotationally fixedly but axially displaceably to the rotor element via the at least one intermediate element. The result is a compact plate connection which is advantageous in particular for multiplate clutches. The intermediate element may be arranged radially outside the plates (pressure plate(s), counter plate(s) and any intermediate plates) of the coupling device.
Hybrid module
A hybrid module includes a housing, an electric motor, a hydraulic coupling, a first clutch, a second clutch, and a flow plate assembly. The housing is arranged for fixing to a planetary transmission and an engine. The electric motor is disposed in the housing. The electric motor has a stator fixed to the housing and a rotor rotatable relative to the housing. The hydraulic coupling is disposed in the housing and is at least partially radially inside of the electric motor. The first clutch is for drivingly connecting the rotor to the engine. The second clutch is arranged in parallel with the hydraulic coupling for drivingly connecting the rotor to an input shaft of the planetary transmission. The flow plate assembly is fixed to the housing. The flow plate assembly has a first flow plate with a first radial groove forming a first portion of a first radial flow channel, and a second flow plate, fixed to the first flow plate, forming a second portion of the first radial flow channel.
Sealed piston apparatus and related systems for use with vehicle torque converters
Sealed piston apparatus and related systems for use with vehicle torque converters are disclosed. A disclosed vehicle torque converter includes a housing and a clutch including a piston in the housing. The piston has a first side partially defining a first chamber and a second side, opposite the first side, partially defining a second chamber. The vehicle torque converter also includes a first seal operatively coupled to the piston and a second seal operatively coupled to the piston. The vehicle torque converter also includes an orifice positioned on the piston radially inward relative to a clutch pack of the clutch. The orifice is configured to provide a flow of a fluid between the first and second chambers during a lockup on operation of the vehicle torque converter to lubricate the clutch. The first seal is a one-way seal.
TORQUE CONVERTER WITH SEALED TURBINE SHELL AND CLUTCH COOLING
