Electric parking brake device
Provided is an electric parking brake device in which an actuator case of an electric actuator is mounted to a backplate of a drum brake which includes a parking brake lever, with which electric actuator it is possible to obtain a parking brake state by pulling a brake cable linked with the parking brake lever. The backplate is formed with a through-hole for passing the brake cable and has a connecting tube portion integrally protruding therefrom and enclosing the through-hole. A mounting tube includes, on one end in an axial direction, a joint portion which is formed separately from the backplate and joined to the connecting tube portion. The actuator case is mounted to the mounting tube at certain axial and circumferential positions with respect to the mounting tube. This allows increased freedom of the mounting attitude of the electric actuator with respect to the backplate without increased cost.

Drum brake provided with a member for holding a brake segment
The vehicle drum brake comprises a plate, at least one segment comprising a core and a brake lining, a spring able to keep the core of the segment in an axially balanced position, means for prestressing the spring wherein said means for prestressing the spring include stop means limiting the ability of the core of the segment to move axially.
DRUM BRAKE APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
A drum brake apparatus for a vehicle may include: a cylinder device configured to apply a braking force to a shoe; a clip part extended from the cylinder device toward the shoe, and elastically contacting the shoe; a cylinder coupling part coupling the clip part to the cylinder device; and a shoe assembling part fastening the clip part to the shoe.
Drum brake device and method of assembly
An illustrative example drum brake device includes a drum having an inner, braking surface. At least one brake shoe includes a friction lining and a support structure for the friction lining. The support structure includes a window having a first portion that is wider than a second portion. A shoe mount is configured to be received through the first portion of the window and engage the support structure adjacent the second portion of the window in a manner that resists movement of the brake shoe in two dimensions and allows selective movement of the brake shoe in a third dimension for allowing the friction lining to selectively engage the braking surface.

Additively-manufactured brake pad assembly with controlled compressibility factor
A brake pad assembly having a consolidated lining comprised of an enhancement framework disposed within a tribological lining, the enhancement framework and tribological lining having substantially the same compressibility factor. The enhancement framework or tribological lining may advantageously be manufactured using an additive manufacturing technique.
LIFTING DEVICE WITH SHACKLE DROP BRAKE
The invention refers to a lifting device (1) with a base part (2) for attachment to an object (4) such as a loading platform or a load. A connecting part (16) of the lifting device (1) serves to attach a sling, lifting, lashing or tensioning means and is pivotable about a swivel axis (20) relative to the base part (2). The base part (2) also has a bearing surface (6) which defines an assembly plane (8). In order to be able to handle the lifting device (1) more easily and safely, a shackle drop brake (24) according to the invention is provided which acts between the base part (2) and the connecting part (16). The shackle drop brake (24) has at least one holding point (26) at which the connecting part (16) is held in a pivoted position outside the vertical (28) to the assembly plane (8) at a distance from the assembly plane (8). The shackle drop brake (24) prevents the connecting part (16) from resting on the object (4). This makes the connecting part (16) easier for a user to grip and lift. In addition, injuries and damage are avoided because, for example, parts can no longer be trapped between the object (4) and the connecting part (16).
